Wish I had your skill set, I have a Logan 200 and I’m going to try to make this, thanks for the pattern and instruction.

Your dial indicator that attaches to the ways of your bed. Did you make it and if so do you have a video of it. Looks like it attaches with a magnet ? If you do not have a video , could you go over the making of it. I have a South Ben and would like to make one like it. Thanks for the good videos.

Cool project. I have a very similar Logan and have been thinking about making something like this since the original taper attachments are $$$. I also like the indicator holder you use on the ways. Do you mind sharing where that came from?

hey what if you just use a collet holder and trace from an existing taper, than you could use a small bearing to trace over the surface

What color and type of paint did you use on your lathe? It looks really good! I’m fixing up a Logan 816 right now and am not crazy about the darker stock color. Yours looks like (at least on the screen) a gray base with a blueish green tint...really clean looking! Thanks for your videos!

Hey Aaron, it was rustoleum oil based enamel paint. They had a couple grays to chose from. I cant remember 100% but I'm pretty sure it was machinery gray. I used it straight from the can - no tinting. Hopefully that helps you find it! Not stock but I like the lighter color too so I'm happy with it.
