Protip: go to Biloxi, not Vegas, and play the nickel slots, not the $15-per-hand card games. Went to a casino there for my 24th birthday, I got 11 hours of entertainment, 2 free all-you-can eat crab buffets, and a free hotel room out of it. In total I blew $80, so it basically paid for itself (I can eat a LOT of Stone Crab, lol.)
Casinos comp you based primarily on play time, not money spent, because statistically someone who will spend all day on nickel slots can be induced to spend time on expensive table games instead. So just game the system and don't, stay on the nickel slots instead. The house always wins, even in this case. I could've bought the buffet tickets for $8 each and a room was $45, so I didn't get $80 in comps. But I did get 11 hours of fun for about $19, which is better than you can do at any movie theater any more.

I am starting to think that Numi may have a gambling problem... and with her bad luck, that is like a d*ath sentence.
I don't gamble much, but my main vice when I do is either Blackjack or Texas Hold'em depending on what is available. Numi is kind of right that where you sit either helps or hurts you for what cards you get as that means that you can get better or worse cards out sooner or later. Although I learned to play poker and other card games when I was 4 because my grandfather was a card shark as a younger man and used my free time in school at 13 learning to count cards with three of my friends. I was cleaning my friends clean of their wallets before I ever got my first video game console.
I used to play blackjack and texas hold em with my dad; and I learned to count cards and play based on the odds instead of stupidly. I started winning and so he stopped playing with me XD. Every once in a while I can sucker a few new friends into a night of hold em and clean them out.
@@Necro-the-Pyro I actually can't do games with my friends or my brother's friends because I kept winning and taking away their paychecks a few times. They figured out I was counting cards and don't invite or respond to my invites. Fair I guess. Not that I mind, I don't feel like making gambling a hobby or being an addict. Just a few times to see if I still have it.

I used to play blackjack every weekend in the city for $5 a hand. I'd buy in for $100 and almost always leave with $200....you don't need to know how to count cards but you do need to know basic strategy and if you're not in a hurry and have time to play you usually win. There's a good bit to it and a bad player can ruin a table if you're behind them especially so you gotta pay attention to all that to but you can win more often than you lose without counting cards.
