As a military vet myself, I am filled with existential dread yet at the same time nostalgia when I see all the dumb shit I and many other had to go through.
With my dad as a military vet, one of my favorite pieces of advice he told me was to never admit you can drive. If you did, they would put you on wheelbarrow duty since they flaunted that they had a driver's license. Hopefully this can make you laugh a little
Then again, they refused to acknowledge Japan is stubborn so they ignored scientists and nuked them twice with the first being only civilians over an almost exclusively military base being taken down for strategy. So...
As someone still in the army, this video accurately portrays that awkward moment when you were tell a military joke to your non-military friends and no one gets the punchline 😅
Thank you Narrator 🪖 for these videos. Still here deployed, getting drunk AF to avoid depression, and my current divorce situation, these videos help me feel better ❤️
I had a friend in the Army who found a way around the whole 1 razor a week thing. He snuck a straight razor into his room (the giant knife looking razor that looks terrifying to use) and he just used that thing every day because they barely go dull.
This brings back memories watching these memes lol. Glad I got out when I did. Definitely miss the camaraderie but don’t miss the bs we dealt with everyday. Also Molly you haven’t even scratched the surface of how absolutely bonkers the military is! Hope we get to see more military videos!
I would love to see a boys video where narrator is the high-ranked officer and the rest of the boys had to do everything he said for a while just to see who last the longest lol
I went to ask Reddit and asked “soldiers and veterans of Reddit, what was the worst part about the military?” Everyone talked about how they witnessed their friends getting killed, and having to get people off their noose so they could be laid to rest. My grandpa made a two hour rant about how shitty the food was
Thank you so much for all of your service time, Narrator! You're my favorite member of The Boys, and my own dad's ex Navy for 20 yrs, dude! I've got nothing but love and respect for ya! :D
As an Air Force veteran, I can neither confirm nor deny the state in which most flights had to go out into the field. However, I can say we had to mop the rain and sweep the sand on multiple occasions. As the branch with the silver spoon, it was a great time and I would not recommend it. Thank you all for any service you've given.
My uncle was a Marine D.I and his fav punishment was if it was raining he should put his whole unit outside and put them in parade rest and just leave them there and come and get them in like a hour.
I'm retired Military, my daughter showed me this channel the other day, good job brother, and since today's Memorial Day, I wanna remember my best friend and one of the finest Green Berets I've ever known. SFC Johnathon Handsford, 7th Special Forces Group. Keep up the good work brother.
Honestly I love it when you put out military related videos. My boyfriend and I would watch these kinds of things all the time. Love my Veteran Marine. He’s training again to go back over seas for his government job, so I haven’t heard from him in over three months. This is just gives me some comfort that helps me through the day. Thank you so much!! (Also when you said that people don’t care about you when you are in the military. I felt that my guy!! My boyfriend and I know what you mean 🤣
I went through culinary school and have 13+ years in the hospitality business, Mully's right. A chef is just a high-functioning alcoholic that is one side-dish away from a mental breakdown.
I’ve always thanked veterans for their service. Even if they didn’t go to combat. I’m glad I did because they probably had to mop up rain and do the "I’m up, I’m down" thing which takes more will power than I will ever have.
I remember my dad rented a floor of our house to like 4 military dudes. They royally fucked it up. Cat and dog shit and piss everywhere, walls scuffed up and just plain disregard to where they lived. Needless to say my dad told them to get the fuck out. They left a couple garbage bags of uniforms and my dad told me to get a couple beers for him. When I gave it to him he straight up emptied all the beers into the garbage bags and threw the bags in the Sun. My dad was an ex navy diver. Seeing that guy spray those clothes seriously gave me flashbacks.
I relate to mully, worked in a kitchen for years and the only thing that finally gave us the break we all needed was Covid. So many of my old coworkers NEVER went back and refuse to step inside another kitchen.
Omg seriously when we got furloughed at my place during the quarantine I went from working 65+ hours on average to 0 and making just the same amount of money if not more on unemployment+stimulus checks 🥲 the world was falling apart but I was finally at peace for a brief moment in time.
@Narrator as a fellow vet I can easily stand by you with all of these. It was hell for most of it but you know there were also some good times too. Thanks for your service brother! US ARMY Sapper 12bravo here!
So I just started watching these Reaction videos from Narrator and friends, and an old term came to mind. BOHICA. D-19 from back in '91. Thanks for your previous service Narrator. And thanks for your current service of keeping us entertained. Have you sent Mully out to find any Blinker fluid yet? Has he filled out his eye-Dee-10-tee card yet? 👍
I saw a U.S military video, where an inspection officer started blasting a soldier for walking through the parking lot, instead of on the sidewalk next to it. She was like nearly screaming at him, like he just kicked a baby out of a stroller.
1:00 During one brigade CQ shift I had, very fun night the NCO was really chill and we bs'd and talked a lot about he military, social problems of today and a lot about the culture of Afghans/Iraq's.. he talked about the PT belt everyone wears and sometimes have to wear when they walk around the bases while deployed (if you dont understand why its an issue just imagine your in a base walking about and your required to wear a yellow reflective strap so cars can see you on sides of roads....while deployed...granted not normally at a FOB or hot zone they'd require this) and he said "If a military satellite fell out of orbit and landed on you and you were not wearing your PT belt, the military would not be at fault because you were not traveling with required protective equipment i.e. the reflective strap" i thought it was funny but kinda like some random joke but after 3 more years of experiencing the army I firmly believe that this is some tom f*ckery that would actually happen.
I am so glad that someone can actually explain this shit in an understandable way. My own family still doesn’t get the misery and why the term embrace the suck exists.
Had a former MTI (drill sergeant) as a Flight Chief one time. When the Air Force changed the regs allowing hands in pockets, everyone came into the armory with their hands in their pockets and the flight chief almost lost his mind lol
Narrator, Thank You For Your Service. Our Veterans don't get enough credit. We would have the lives we have if it wasn't for the brave men and women who fought and died for this great country we live in... Thank You.
Narrator gosta de fazer piada sobre o que ele passou enquanto foi militar, mas me lembro bem que, no Clown Motel, ele foi o único dos Boys que estava pronto pra quebrar a cara de quem aparecesse durante a noite.😏
I haven't been in the military, but I work in the kitchen. I understand what both you and Mully had to go though. I myself am still I'm school and 18, I barely get any sleep. Just want to say that you and the rest of the boys give me a lot of laughs with your content and for that I'm thankful. Continue what you're doing ❤
there were days about a week ago where I non stop considered enlisting in the military because I thought my life was already shit. Then I found your videos. More specifically your military tik tok reactions and then I'm like "Nah fam that ain't for me."
Having seen this just now it makes me laugh cuz in the Airforce they passed an edit in the AFI that we can now put our hands in our pockets and such. Though I will say, looking back on the discipline part of it its interesting to look back and see where we came from. I personally enjoy what I've experienced despite getting out now. So many of these are relatable... Love to see em and feel even the bootcamp nostalgia.
I was not military but I was in a Maritime Academy and believe me the amount of times I've seen people sleep on watch is hilarious. One guy was on bow watch (sit at the bow and watch the horizon) and he decided to post himself up against the bow, cover himself with his jacket and sleep. He didn't hear the sound-powered phone ring so they go to check on him and he got caught. If sailors know anything it's learning to sleep anywhere and everywhere at a moments notice. However, there are some days I miss that rack and the rocking of the ship. Never fallen asleep faster than when I was on the ship.
as a beginner in special ops in my countrie (Goe) we have different rules but the pockets its the most upsetting because imagine its -12c and we have to put our hands in the guns . I agree with you your narrator. Good content
Love you Narrator! Some of those regs have changed thank god. For instance: you can have hands in pockets and talk on the phone while in uniform, depending on station. It's a recent and nice change. Reflective belts continue to make you immortal still somehow
I got most of my plt on them back in my day, but I highly recommend the double edge safety razors, super cheap blades, about 15 bucks for 50 of them. And they are actually comfortable to shave daily with and reduced the amount of razor burn we had. Takes a second to learn how to do it without cutting yourself, but a much better result for everyone I got to try it.
I was in the navy for 9 years. Made it to E-5 by year 3-4. Sea tour was pretty fun but I came to hate my shore command. The only fun part was fucking hard core with my Chief, that everyone in my division hated, about advancing to first class. She saw me reading a book and taking notes from said book. She told me she was so proud of me for studying. I held up the book and showed her it was a D&D adventures guide book and said, “I know chief! I’m gonna have such a kick ass adventure!”
the depression in mully's eyes in this whole video is gold. i dont get it why narrator is so sweet! he was getting straight dunked on by the drill sergants.
You Just Showed me what the Military is like Without me being in the military, Thank you man, you just made me avoid something that Might make me lose my humanity
I find these relatable, even though I was only a cadet. Also the song he is on about that qas his alarm clock is Mr. Highway is thinking of the end by A Day To Remember
My father was in the military for 20 years, and he now has stage 3 kidney disease (among other things) because they would treat every injury with ibuprofen, he said that they used Motrin so much that they were calling it vitamin M Mad respect to anyone who can handle the military
the morning routine is the most relatable part of the military, alarm goes off and the first thing out of my mouth is a visceral "fuck" and that would get me ready mentally for the BS
My fav army video I ever saw was a medic who during deployment ended up having a rule made that they weren’t allowed to play Pokémon because they’d be attacked and have to wait for hours to see if advances wear made so they played on their game boy and it was so bright it gave away their position
I completely agree with Mully about thr similarities between the Military and the Hospitality industry as a chef for 10 years. Lack of sleep, ptsd, alcohol/caffeine binges.. i admit.. i miss it. Lol
I just finished basic, that one video where he's hosing down those clothes is because we weren't allowed to do laundry during the day, only on personal time. Someone left their clothes in the dryer and a Drill Sergeant found em and figured they'd have fun.
Bro every single time I either watch this duo or the boys I just get so happy and feel like I'm 5 and when I was obsessed with like unicorns and shit, the boys content just makes me so flicking happy😂
I bow in respect and wish I could give you a hug out of sympathy cause holy cuss Narrator. The army sounds like it's utter hell from seeing all those tik toks. I salute you and to all army people for what you guys put up with. Great content as always!😄 🤗💜
As a military vet myself, I am filled with existential dread yet at the same time nostalgia when I see all the dumb shit I and many other had to go through.

Thanks for your service!
With you there brother

he forgot having to fill the radios before SP and the thing never working

America: "We have the best military in the world!"
The military: *Waves at sniper* "I'm over here! Just kill me!"
Then again, they refused to acknowledge Japan is stubborn so they ignored scientists and nuked them twice with the first being only civilians over an almost exclusively military base being taken down for strategy. So...
Our military is great simply because each member wants to die, but the enemy keeps shooting at SOMEONE ELSE... the fuckers.

@@anglepsycho lol we made their day brighter.
@@anglepsycho regardless the Japanese was more disciplined and crazy when they fight.
The boys should be in the “military” for a day that’ll be interesting
Ooo agreed
YES!!!
I love this idea
Yeah. Narrator should put them through a boot camp sort of thing
A day is not enough to get the proper mil-tard experience.
Make it a week.
As someone still in the army, this video accurately portrays that awkward moment when you were tell a military joke to your non-military friends and no one gets the punchline 😅
These videos are just narrator finding these funny and the other boys getting more and more concerned with each video
E ainda assim, tem mais de 90 mil visualizações e mais de 12 mil 👍... Quantos tem o seu?
You have a point at the end I just saw narrator laughing having a great time and Mully was just like ... wtf is going o

I was wondering about that-- would a straight razor be a thoughtful gift for a serviceman?
Everything mully said about working in a kitchen is so relatable! I’m working in a kitchen right now and we are all losing our minds!😂
I worked in a kitchen and later joined the military, they are different rooms in the same madhouse.
@@DAHamilton damn dude you got the double whammy of undervalued and underpaid jobs, you tryna collect them all?
They say the kitchen is run just like the military and boi they ain't wrong
After every video he said this give me ptsd from the kitchen. Or this is just like the kitchen 😂
I use to work 16 hour shifts 7 days a week and yeah that sleep meme hits close to home

Be sure to get those razor blades
