Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my TH-cam Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.
EXO was labeled as SM's Worst Mistake from Debut. A lot of people think that they have it easy because they come from a Big Company, but they've really been through a lot with members leaving, dating scandal and everything the pressure was enough to break anyone but they got stronger instead. I remember Suho going to recieve their award on his own because the news just hit that Kris was leaving and the members were devastated but as the leader he had to step up..

I still remember when their Chinese member except lay left the group, so many exo-l decided to left but I stay..when baekhyun was dating, some of exo-l left but I still stay..when lay need to go back to China because of some issues, I'm still an exo-l...then recently when chen decided to got married and some exo-l told him to left the group, even some of them told exo to disband n decided to left the fandom when sm n exo member don't want chen to leave, I'm still with them..exo had been through so much things..so I hope exo-l keep on supporting them till the end...they deserve it..they deserve true fans not the fake one
True exo relationship different from other bands even when it comes to fandom most are supportive and I'm happy bcoz wherever all ot12 are they doing well and they should marry date have their family bcoz first of all they are human and I wish them all the happiness I being emotional again can't hold my tears😪😪😪
It was difficult. Because Kris left without saying a word, because he got into truble with SM and got scared, and this created rumors and panic and doubts and divided the fandom into parts. The agency did not released a statement. And even though Luhan and Tao left after parting ways properly with the members and fans - it was still not okay i because that it was all too close to Kris' leaving and still felt bad .. and Exo were always so close (and still so) to each other, it was hard enough to see Beloved members are leaving us, so the way it was done (including the lawsuits and the courts and the vague rumors) it was hard !! Terribly sad. All the rush it created. Lays song - Promise - was just a lifesaver for everyone (just thinking it's barely released just because of the agency's production team)

Same here. I stan them since 2012 and witnessing all the heartbreaking moments of the group like when kris, luhan and tao left the group, it was so devastating somehow. It was so sad.

I don't want to cry, but my tears keep falling. I miss OT12 so bad. That song "Miracles in December " is the first and last winter album song as OT12. They may be 9 in our eyes but always be 12 in our hearts. Thank you for this Sir Nephi. It's a good cry.

This is the exact reason why even if i stanned exo a bit late, i fell in love with them so much, not just because of their talent.. but because of their character, their personality and every single little thing about them. Before they became what they are right now, They really started from nothing, faced a lot of hardships and trials as a group, as a family. They dont just shout Saranghaja (Let’s Love) and We Are One. They are so humble and kind despite of all the achievements they received, they did not forget where they came from. Stanning EXO is one of the best things that has happened to my life. No way im so emotional right now😭 theres a lot of up and down that EXO been through the years with EXOL and I still remember every single thing that happened it this video since the day I become an EXOL in 2015😢 EXO always get injured and had a hard time but they never give up to give the best for their fans and thats what make me appreciate and respect them so much. I still cant forget about the incident that happened in MAMA award 2017 which I still cant forgive what MAMA had done to EXO! They made EXO and EXOL cried so hard that night😭 I never felt hurt as what I felt on that day srs talk. Since that day EXO didnt attend to any award shows anymore. Its good for them but honestly I miss to see EXO in award shows😞 But nevermind theres a lot of memories EXO & EXOL already created together and I will never forget them. Thanks EXO, We Are One! I'm so jealous to exo-l's who stan them a long time, I Stan EXO just last year, and whenever I watch this like of videos it feels like I know them for a long time. I was crying with you. Even though I've watched it many times it still breaks my heart into pieces. I was there when these happened. I've been with them and supporting them for 7 years and at the time when it was the darkest for EXO and EXO-Ls it was so hard and heartbreaking. Watching this video brings back so many memories. I am so happy that I chose the right people to support. It was tough but we endured it with them. EXO-Ls are the strongest fandom and EXO is the strongest group.

Even after watching this so many times already. The pain is still here, the heartbreak is still here. It's living with you. Even if you try to erase it with the thought of EXO smiling and laughing or their good times together, it just don't go away. It's not that easy becoming an EXOL. It's also not that easy becoming an EXO member. It became part of you, your past and what EXO and your fandom had become now. We have been to so many obstacles and yet here we are stronger than before. Some may have left us but we are still one. EXO became part of my happiness but they are also one of the reason why I'm sad. Just seeing this clip, I proved to myself again that WOW I STILL CAN'T MOVE ON. It's so hard to be left out just like that bcs never once I imagined that we would be like this. but whenever I think of that I put my self into EXO's shoes. Those times when they have to change all their choreographies, those times where they all put their self into practice more and these have greatly affected their health and mentality. It must be so hard to say goodbye when you thought you would walk with that person forever. It must be so hard to say goodbye one day and you thought they would comeback but nah. It must be so hard to forget when you don't want to but you have to for the sake of everyone around you. EXO become like this now bcs there are a lot of fans that have faith in them, hoping. So to those people who are mocking our boys, saying bad things to them, belittling them and their achievements, Please just leave them alone, shut up because you never even once felt this kind of sadness. It never even once in your group or fandom happened to you. You don't know the pain, the struggle to move forward, the heartbreak, the tiring days and those thoughts on leaving the group or fandom to cross on your mind. If you want, we can be your target instead of our boys. You have no idea what they did for us, no idea the things they had to do for us on those times of saddnes that instead of thinking about themselves, they are prioritizing us. You have no idea what our group had been thru. So please just leave us alone we want to be happy with our boys forever
Behind every success story of EXO is a reality that these artists did not waste all of their efforts in making their selves better throught the years. Their unending determination to perform and give out the creme of the crop performances despite being sick and throwing up behind the stage, being injured and hospitalized, being emotionally hurt because of stress and media controveries and most of all being away from their families and love ones. They did all of this things just to reciprocate the love and gratitude that they received from us EXOLs. EXOL since MAMA era and I never regretted a single thing about stanning these boys even until now.

They’ve been through a lot of hardships. I remember when they had their first ever fan meeting there’s only have 18 (i think) attendees and EXO members even give free invitations in streets just to promote themselves. They almost got disband because people are calling them “ failure of sm”. But, look at them now being the KPOP KINGS, LEGEND GROUP, REPRESENTATIVE OF KOREA, NATION’S PICK, MILLION SELLER, IDOLS OF IDOLS. They did it all. Soo proud of them ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

suho is SO strong! he was trained for so long period and was the last trainee who did not debut and being a leader - he had to cover his feeling and stay strong & calm for the others and he cried alone with no one to see.... I can't...

Exo were being called “ Sm’s first mistake “, everyone mocked, critized and doubted them. a lot of people thought because they’re from big agency they have privilege, they got silver spoon in their mouth, and they get their success easily.
They don’t know all the struggles and hardships they went through, being mocked, received so many hatred from day one of their carriers, loosing Kris just a few weeks before their first concert, loosing Luhan, then loosing Tao, overworked, miss treated by their own agency.
Kai and Lay get injuries a lot, and it takes a few months to recover. Kris, Luhan and Tao left exo due to miss treated and overworked by SM. At that time Dispatch also revealed that Baekhyun and Taeyeon from SNSD are dating, all hell broke loose and hate were given to both of them. Fans asked Baekhyun to left exo, received a death threat, hate comments, Only a few people come to Baekhyun musical performance. And happened again with Chen, and as expected agency did nothing to protect Chen.
Exo earned their success with hard work, dedication, passion and never ending talent. They’re endured those hard times and still did their best, they deserved what they have and what they become.

EXO is definitely to be admired, despite the departure of some members due to problems with the company which was a hard blow, they stayed strong and remained united, even though the company is really shit with them and they do not value them (ironically being the group that earns the most) they hold on, even they complained about it openly but we already know how SM is with EXO, even though the company wants to control their lives, they don't allow themselves that is why they are treated like that They put up with everything because they simply want to continue singing for their exo-ls and because they want to remain united. Everything they do for themselves and for us fans, many current groups have it in some way (easy) but they don't, despite being a consolidated group, want more and the company does not help them and it is frustrating. EXO IS WORTH GOLD, I will always be grateful and loyal for all your effort. Exo-l forever. ❤

The scenes from the Chinese Variety Show Happy Camp never fail to make me so sad. It was right after Kris left, and they had a whole segment on the show about that. Especially that part when Lay was crying, and Luhan was standing beside him (and knowing that he also left soon after)...😭😭😭

You should see the video of Suho when he was the only one who went to receive their trophy for Overdose in a music show back in 2014. That was the same time the news broke out that Kris was leaving EXO. Overdose era was the last time they were 12 members. Also, Miracles in December, the first and last winter song they made as 12 members. 2014 was so heartbreaking for EXO and EXO-Ls. 😭 😭 😭
