As a Junkrat main I watch this guy everyday and I might as well be An entire fan club

You can also use the tire as a sort of "mini-rez". If the enemy team gets a pick on one of you, you can use tire and drive it into the wall to keep the enemy from pushing in.

4:27 other than giving you a third person view to peek around the corner, putting tire on the wall at the beginning could minimize the sound that the tire makes, especially when you have all the firing and abilities sounds at the same time, kinda like a "silient tire" technique
Yeah I definitely think that's what he's doing, you've got what 10 seconds? The moment that tire rips everybody starts looking for it, but they can only spend so much time scanning the horizon before they risk getting picked off by a regular enemy. So I think he's just stalling until they give up looking for it so he can slide it in
Exactly, it's often done to minimize the sound, spread the enemy team and have yours get a pick. If you wanna get a fat tire just go to the backline and it's almost a 2 kill guaranteed

The series is meant to show their daily regular matches, show that they don’t always pop off and they make mistakes too. Like Cyx missed a few hooks in his episode.
Otherwise you can jut go watch their montages I guess.
