I'm sorry you have gone through so much. Those scammers need to stop. They play on people's emotional connections to our avian feathered friends. We have a blue crowned conure named Coco. She talks up a storm. She also screeches very loud. We rescued her from a very dirty and abusive family. We give her all the love, kisses and cuddles she can handle. Like you said it's like raising a terrible two year old for 80 years. We do love her so much. We are currently shopping for a playmate for her and haven't decided on the right breed yet. We definitely do not want another loud screecher. Maybe a Cockatiel would be good. Thanks for sharing your story. You are a sweetheart. Good luck to you.

we have galahs all over australia and they sit in our backyard, i absolutely love galahs and id love to get one some day, i currently have 2 large birds- Rei who was an alexandrian rescue from a really bad home, and loui the ringneck who came from a bad petstore. I WOULD LOVE to watch the pros and cons for "cockatoos" or galahs i guess haha
