Wasn't worried about it anyway our defense is too good. As bad as we were under Dyche we'd have still wangled enough draws with our top 6 defense to go down. Now I'm sure we'll get another 6 or 7 wins under Moyes and end up finishing around 12 th rather than 16th under negative ass.
I have to agree. Jake O'Brien was superb again. A bit of a rocky start first few minutes when Lamptey got in behind twice early in but, after that, he corrected himself and made no further mistakes at all. Looks a great player IMO
At the final whistle you could see the togetherness already that Moyes had brought back with him using the squad giving players minutes who deserve to play instead of just picking his favourites. Players believe in what they're being asked to do. Wanted him after the Bournemouth home game Dyches behaviour was a disgrace he lost the dressing room after that throwing the players under the bus for him freezing on the touchline, imagine where we'd be if we got him in then just shows how little the previous ownership cared about the club leaving Dyche in charge until they left when Moyes was available then. Brilliant start even the Villa game there were good signs gotta beat Leicester next week will allow us all to relax a bit.

However, the trio is no longer in 20s, so it is required to manage well n inject young bloods like Dan Neil, Chuk n my fav Quinten Timber / Benat Turrientes.
Baz, I did feel Dyche had a hard road because of the injuries and wanted it to be a level playing field when all the players were back from injury and see how he would fare then. However, since Moysey has been back, he too has had to deal with the same scenario with players, but he's done it differently and has got more out of the players. The guy is an absolute T rex of football managers who lost his job rather than try something different or take a chance between Dyche and Benitez we've had 2 of the most stubborn managers in history manage us in last 5 years no wonder we've nearly went down twice.
We look much better. Even if we don't win every game the players look like they are enjoying training and our new coaching methods. Playing with confidence

Might be a blessing in disguise DCL getting injured cause now we have no choice but to bring another striker in rather than paper over the cracks like we have done for years just because Lewin finally had one decent game and scored an actual great goal using his own skill rather than standing on the penalty spot expecting everyone else to do all the work and put the ball right on his head to watch him head it straight at the goalie 3 times a game then complain he gets no service.
I feel sorry for Kevin Thelwell. All of his signings are now playing well but he will pay for the team's poor start by not being rewarded with a new contract
What do you mean when you say, "there's nothing wrong with Kean"? There are a whole pile of things wrong with him. Poor judgement and poor situational awareness are the first two things that come to my mind.
Great result and that's what matters at the moment but it also showed a lack of quality going forward. Unable to build from midfield and keep the ball, again to many poor passes and control, poor decisions and lacking composure and creativity. Brighton should be afraid of playing us they have very short memories down there cause we're unbeaten in our last 5 trips to Brighton including a 5-1 win under Lampard couple of seasons back when they hadn't lost at home in about 9 months and today was only there 2nd home loss this season. Don’t be rewriting history lads, none of you wanted Moysey. Dyche kept us up against all odds & the premier league for 2 seasons with a set of players that my subuteo team could beat. Time ran out due to injuries & flogging a dead horse brain injury. Love the channel, toffees & Davey’s grey hair 🍻
Disappointed with Beto. Big lad and I always want him to do well but his touch is poor, he has no real pace and makes the wrong decisions. We need better.
Sorry I disagree. I remember moyes 1st stint well and we was crying for him to change and use baines at left back. He persisted like a stubborn mule and only changed when he was forced to do it via injury. Once baines got his start and lescott was moved to cb did we improve. He did that via luck. Moyes has done well since he has come back. I give him credit for the last 3 games. However let's not have moyes glasses on and think he's golden Bollox because he wasn't.
Do not agree with you on Gueye. What we need is someone who is comfortable on the ball. We need to start adding Artetas. Pienaars. Someone like Baines. Players capable of holding onto the ball and being so good that the opposition start backing off. I'm just made up that Moyes is back. We now have the perfect Everton manager. Moyes is all about long term. We should as I've said for 9 years now give him a 10 year contract!
We all have our own opinions, so respect yours, even though I have to agree with Baz. Gana Gueye broke Brightons play up so many times. Just what we needed today.
He was good today and vs Tottenham also. Villa pressed us quite a bit and he was certainly poor in that one. Just feel we need to up it next season in midfield if we are going to progress as we all want.
Watched Everton rolling around on the ground for 15 minutes feigning injury. What a poor way to win a game. Glad I don’t have to watch that type of football every week . If that’s the only way you can win points then good luck to you. Everton did defend well for which I credit you for.
Everton players dont roll around faking injury that’s more Brighton players behaviour. You couldn’t lay a glove on our goal your players were not up for it today , lucky for you we haven’t a consistent striker atm
The most ridiculous comment I have ever seen on here. We didn't feign injury one single time. Unless you count Dom who was obviously feigning it, right? Beto when he went down was hurt or he wouldn't have purposely put us down to NINE men.
Think your forgetting we won there 5-1 not too long ago when Lampard was our manager and today's win means we are unbeaten in our last 5 trips to sunny, colourful Brighton so we're so bad but yous can't beat us doesn't say much for yous does it fruit cake .

We need a striker calvert lewin out again beto is awful we need a striker Ellis simms is far better than beto
Well done Everton. Send these mickey mouse clubs back to the 4th division!!
I don’t get this Gana was great yesterday, he was good but not motm as people keep saying,,docoure was so poor!
Watched Everton rolling around on the ground for 15 minutes feigning injury. What a poor way to win a game. Glad I don’t have to watch that type of football every week . If that’s the only way you can win points then good luck to you. Everton did defend well for which I credit you for.
Yep let’s not give little ol brighton any rhythm. It worked 😂. Mings
Think your forgetting we won there 5-1 not too long ago when Lampard was our manager and today's win means we are unbeaten in our last 5 trips to sunny, colourful Brighton so we're so bad but yous can't beat us doesn't say much for yous does it fruit cake .
moyes first though, keep us in the prem then go from there
totally agree on Moyes. I'd rather have him longer term than some fancy dan that will just leave us if successful, or fail.
