I just love the way they look at each other. They dont even have to say anything and yet a look delivers everything you need to know about them. Props to both Freddy and Amita for their excellent delivery.
If one season gives us 9 minutes imagine when we get to six of crows

Yeah I don’t really know what his back story is I know something about pekka killing his brother or somthing lol do you know his full backstory cause I’m clueless and can’t seem to find it anywhere
@@lilybryans5466 The brothers were eventually left on the streets in dire poverty.
Both Kaz and Jordie caught the Queen's Lady Plague, also known as firepox, when it swept through Ketterdam. Jordie died of the disease, and Kaz fell very ill as well. The siblings were presumed dead and their bodies were collected and brought out by the Reaper's Barge to sea. However, Kaz, barely alive, swam back to Ketterdam using his brother's body as a float. The experience was extremely traumatic for the young Kaz and left him unable to bear contact with another person's skin. Also, it is implied that the illness damaged his throat causing his voice to develop a rasp, which Inej describes as sounding like stone on stone.

@@lilybryans5466 Kaz had an older brother named Jordie and when their parents died, the siblings went to Ketterdam with the few money they had. Jordie started working for a man named Jakob Hertzoon who was a low mercher and convinced him to give all the money they had onto a investment; the man turned out to be Pekka Rollins and the whole thing was a scam, which left Jordie and Kaz into poverty while there was a plague hitting Ketterdam. Jordie died and Kaz survived, having to use his dead brothers body as a float for returning into the city and vowing to take revenge against Rollins.

@@lilybryans5466 I recommend reading Six of Crows!! Its a great book and its all about Kaz and his Crows (better than shadow and bone in my opinion)
this was so well put, it felt like i was watching a complete movie. their actions speak louder than words and with their instances of eye contact >>>>> Freddy and Amita understood the assignment

I knew nothing about these books. I just thought it would be fun to check out a new show and after the first episode all I wanted to see was more Kaz and Inej together! And Jesper. He stole my heart. I hope they have a bigger story in the books, I am tempted to read them. Can't wait for Season 2!

He's way more forward than in the books but that's understandable as we don't have that internal dialogue
True, but they have done a really well job at keeping it very slow
I'm sure we will see Kaz be more forward when the next season is Six of Crows.

I love Kanej so much. I've shipped these two characters even before I read the books. Just the way they show their love without words and mainly by eye contact and their actions is just beautiful. I hope they will be endgame on the show since it's only hinted in the books that they do become something more in the future which is totally understandable because they have to overcome their past trauma first but they do hold hands. I can't wait to see more of them and see the heist. I also hope we get to hear their most iconic quotes like *"I will have you without armor, Kaz Brekker, or I will not have you at all."* One of my top favorite Kanej quotes. Freddy and Amita are truly perfect for the roles. They understood and nailed the assignment. 🤩 Can't wait to see them again in season 2.
