- This time I'm building a frequency counter kit which I bought cheaply on AliExpress. This video is just a real-time registration of the entire build. If this type of content is your thing, grab your favourite beverage and join along. If not, I'll gladly see you in the next regular video.
I realize my head was in the way in certain sections of the video. I will work on a better camera angle and field of view for the next time I do such a video.
No midroll ads on this video.

Hoegaarden white lager, a nice drink too.
I watch your videos and find them excellent. My problem is that I am subscribed to so many diverse channels, electronics, physics, chemistry (and yes politics forbid) that I often don't have time to comment on all. Thanks Kristof, maybe see you on Cruncher Sunday.
Thanks a lot! I will probably be in the chat on Sunday while working on the amplifier I'm currently restoring.
Watching this made me thirsty! e can find Tripel Larmeliet in the U.S. from specialty shops. A local bar even had it on tap. The glasses are sometimes available, but hard to find. I enjoyed seeing this low cost kit work. I view these kits as a fun experiment to learn about how things work. It's too bad they don't provide a schematic. Maybe there's one online?
There is a schematic on the manual, I just didn't notice it. It's quite basic, most of the components are for driving the display. The most interesting part is the oscillator circuit for the crystal tester.
