I started playing shortly after he was released and has been my favorite. Didn’t play a lot of conquest back then, but his joust capability’s were great

The idea behind shadowsteel is that its a cleaner power spike over going qins or exe first. You want it third item (including starter) every time even if they don't have healing it gives you more kill potential than going one of the blade items.

I miss Poison Star, prenerfed Gem of Iso, and prenerfed Frostbound. Holy hell they were all fun back in the day, forcing Winged Blade left and right...

Doesn't the fall stance prot shred being effective for 7 seconds mean you can hit one auto in that stance and then switch over to summer stance for even more damage? Or is that not how it works?
I'm only a minute in but yes that interaction does work.
Most people's issue with it is that I takes more mental energy for not a ton of gain

Fair enough lol... tbh I only ever remember to do that when my team is already ahead to the point of w-keying, and I don't have to worry about dying - a situation where like you said the 'not a ton of gain' probably won't make a noticeable difference in the fight.

I definitely think there's a placebo of playing a new hunter and the auto's feeling off. But Cern in particular always feels bad with auto's in particular and I couldn't specify why.
his autos shoot from the middle instead of right or left like most other hunters, could be a reason for this feeling. i also dont like cerns autos for this reason
I thought the orange was the damage and the yellow was the prot shred. If you follow the seasons starting with spring (green) it should line up.
Edit: Nevermind I am wrong.
One thing I noticed with the 1 while watching this video, not only does it hit kaldr twice while in yellow stance, it mini procs your starter as well.

Think a potentially nicer format for these might be a few dedicated minutes in jungle practice at the start of the video to go over the kit, then talking more about how you're trying to use those abilities given the matchups and general play style of the character in game. Might be more friendly for recording this way too, and distractions in game don't disrupt the explanations and end up taking 20+ minutes to get through it all lol. Also gives people the option to skip the kit talk if they have experience and just enjoy the gameplay.
MFPallyTime has been doing a format like this for Overwatch 2, and it's VERY good. He also does a bit of lore, but the kits are smaller in OW2 compared to Smite.
Skadi either timed everything perfectly or got very lucky. His 1 hit JUST BEFORE kaldr auto hit you, so kaldr auto did the additional damage

I’m not certain but I’m pretty sure the procreation rebuff in the 3 stance last for 7 seconds

Cern is a skadi counter but you have to use his yellow stance because it's an extra damage hit. So instead of 5 hits it's 3 hits

I believe cern became meta due to a buff to his passive, 2, and devos all very close to each other
Hi guys I’m a true smite fan / player but there’s one thing I still don’t know about this game what does “adc” mean or stand for😭
they made his 2 a cripple and they buffed Devos, when combined with his green 1 he ends up having like the highest sustain in the game

@@dublinvision371 same. I’ve never been able to play the same character/game for more then a couple matches/hours. It’s why I don’t play MMOs anymore bcuz I’d end having making every class but never getting em maxed out bcuz I get bored quickly. I think it might have something to do with my ADD tho

Love the videos but I'd recommend explaining the kit a little faster in these videos. Don't really understand explaining abilities 20 minutes into the game when we've already seen you use them 30 times
The whole reason to use cern is to abuse his 1 with attack speed, and this guys levelling the 3 second like a bot. But I can't blame him when hes using his 1 like a bot too.

You mixed up the fire season damage and the autumn pro toon shred. You were using the protect shred for most of the game when you said don’t do it till late game lol
The yellow stance is protection shred and the red stance is fire damage
no i wasnt lol the damage stance is yellow and you can see the bonus damage basically all game

Jeez, kaldr has to be the most annoying god to play against. I don’t understand why they thought it was okay to essentially give you double autos, something to tank damage for you, and one of the most annoying CCs in the game if used properly. Kaldr and Argus are by far the most toxic shit in this game. And yea, I refer to skadi and hera as kaldr and Argus bcuz that’s essentially all they are. Without them the characters are trash.
