What really showed the depth of this seen was the fact that you can see the fear and PTSD in jotaros face AND he’s screaming is not one out of rage. Its him genuinely being scared

To me that part when Pucci uses the knives against Jolyne in stopped time is truly a masterpiece in combat writing. Not only does Pucci tug at Jotaro's father status by menacing his daughter AND at his PTSD by using one of DIO's techniques, he also does another thing. Here, as opposed to the final of Stardust Crusaders,the stopped time does not come from the enemy of the Joestars (DIO), but from Star Platinum. Pucci did not stop time. He effectively turned Jotaro's power against him, tainting his ability that saved his life and his loved ones' so many times, by changing it into how DIO would have used it. He's essentialy reclaiming the World from Jotaro, giving it back to his rightful owner, DIO. All the while inflicting physical, emotional, and trauma damage. Jotaro was truly two steps behind.
