    "embrace the suck" I love it! Thanks for enduring the uphill climbs to show us the trails. I never knew they where there. Great video.

    Thanks for sharing the thorough walkthrough of what the trails are like now.
    My family enjoys Blue Mountain, and that was before we even had bikes, so this video really helps with our next visit.
    Although, i reckon we'll be looking more towards the XC trails because that climb looks intense. 😊

      You're welcome ! I'm glad it really helped out -- don't underestimate yourself with the climb ! Just keep plugging away at it :)

    I live 5 mintues away but I'm afraid it will melt my heart to ride down sections on my trail bike that were part of the DH trails from the past, so sad. Hopefully one day DH/lift access will return. Great video though, you may have encouraged me to go check it out. I bought an earlybird 5x7 this year which includes summer access, so really I should

      Totally understand for sure :) There's not a lot of "cheap / affordable" activities to do in the area, so if you're looking for just that AND a GREAT workout, would highly recommend ! It's definitely pretty when you get in the bush.

    looks like some nice chill trails;
    do you think a decent hardtail bike can handle most of the trails there?
    It's too bad they closed down the downhill course though.

      You can certainly ride a hardtail, but you will certainly feel the roots going down all the trails ;)

    Sad to see what blue has become used to be a great spot to ride

      It's certainly a change for sure. Too bad as it was so popular, but on the bright side, at least there are trails :) Better than none at all.

    Thanks for making a video on this!
    Does Blue Mountain offer lift services for bikes?
    Are these trails free if you do the uphill yourself?

      Hey ! You're welcome ! Blue Mountain no longer offers bike lift services. They had the full downhill course years ago and offered the lift, but have since moved to a "downcountry" trail system that requires you to bike up the hill (only like 1/4 of the full hill) from 1 of the 2 uphill bike trails.
      They do ask that riders purchase a bike pass, but I've seen many without the pass and still utilizing the trails. However, if you get injured, I would expect that by not having the pass that would be held against you.
      Hope that helps :)
