Got the Crewzer last year and put over a 100 days on it in a single season... Can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to turn the mountain into a playground. It's just such a fun but capable board! Will be adding the StaleFish to it this year though, for the deep days.
Got to ride the new stale-fish this year. Amazing revamp, by far one of my favorite boards in the Rome lineup. It truly is a fish in powder and rails turns. So much pop too
We need more stalelife this season some old vibes with all riders together doing wild stuff goofing around ive been watching all the stalelife videos since the first one again and i love the highquality new type but the videos lost some soul.
I just got the 2023 Crewzer a couple weeks ago but unfortunately the core snapped across the tail when boosting off a big side hit on day 2 of riding it, really bummed. I have to say that before it broke it was one of the most fun boards I've ridden in along time. As an old guy pushing 50 I found myself riding more directional boards the last few years but I wanted to mix it up this year with something more twin to compliment my Ravine Select. I went back and forth between the Crewzer and the Agent but went with the crewzer because of the directional shape and it being a little stiffer because I like to go fast, I definetly made the right choice. I was surprised at how good this board carves and man this thing has a ton of pop. Good news is Rome is sending me a new 2024 Crewzer that should be here today or tomorrow, I can't wait to get on it. When I decide to retire my Ravine I will probably end up going with the Stalefish as a replacement, I love that 3d shaping on the nose. Keep shredding and coming up with these sick boards!
That is so cool to hear that you had such a good time on the Crewzer! And Happy that you were able to replace the broken one🙌🏼 have fun out there this season.🙌🏼
@@Stale_Sandbech Man what is happening at the Rome factory???? I got my replacement board and it already has a big wrinkle in the top sheet on my nose after 12 days of riding the thing....Super bummed. Hopefully they replace this one all though I'm losing confidents in Rome. I landed a 180 off a small roller and rode it out on the nose then there was a big wrinkle in it.
New Crewzer is on the way, hopefully third times a charm!! Spoke to the people at Rome and they are going to look into the batch of boards that my 2 came from to see if there's some quality issue. They took care of me and said I could have any board I wanted, got another Crewzer though...your board rips man! Saw a sneek peak of your 2025 model, looks killer!! 💪
I'm looking into the Crewzer and Select as well. Are you using the same bindings between the two or different stiffness? I ride the Agent now and it gets chattery as hell for me around 35mph.
these boards look amazing. I want both ! Just a little advice please. I have an expert level. I am 1m73 (5'8) tall and I weigh 70 kg (154) what size for each board would suit me best? More Stale life please !
Yoo! Thank you! I think you would be stoked on the 154 Crewzer and probably 154 Stalefish would be riding really nice for you🙌🏼 hope you like them, and have a great winter✌🏼
Hey Stale I love the new stalefish and want one as my daily driver for park to pow. Is this considered a volume shifted board? What size should I be getting I am 86 kilos, 175cm and have a smaller 8.5 men’s US boot
I do preffer det new reedesign on the StaleFish, but the one before is so fun also. The Crewzer is still the same, just a fresh new graphic for this season:)
Rome also doesn’t go as aggressive with the 3D shaping. They mostly use it on their powder boards to funnel snow away from the nose helping with float. They usually stop it right before the contact point so you still get all of the edge hold of the full effective edge.
Stale, how much really you hate jibbing? Because it looks like after retiring from competitive, judging by board choice and design, spennys edits, the clips of you on those new boards, you actually dont like jibbing very much! lol
Haha, good question:) I definitely don’t hate Jibbing, and I would say that the «Crewzer» would be a really good board for «Jibbing». But my focus after I am not compeeting anymore has for sure been directed in the more Backcountry direction. And I have also always been a bigger «Airtime» guy, than a «Rail» rider. So you are not totally wrong, but you will still see me riding rails still;) And what is really «Jibbing» ?
@@Stale_Sandbech I for one like to see you do more backcountry. In fact I hope to see you one day on natural selection! So whatever jibbing is, its not a loss for me! :)
Hey Stale, what a wonderful new board the Stale Crewzer is. Could you help me to find the perfect size? I‘m 178cm tall and weigh about 71 - 73 kilos. Would appreciate it very much! 🫶
Thank so much, already @home 😍🤞 maybe one question left: which stance you feel comfortable with? Im changing currently a little bit, but would be awesome to get your reference stance!:)
Graphics are perfect. Understated elegance. Tastefully done Stale!
thank you!!
Those boards are so beautiful. Simple yet meaningful. I love it.
Thank you!!

Yo! That is so cool to hear! Glad you are happy with the board:) Hope you have a good time on that new StaleFish also👌🏽
Love the new boards but also wish that Rome would one day make a retro version of these classical Stale boards.
Yes Stale! Loving the graphics, excited to see what the season brings for you 👊
Thanks!! So Excited for winter to kick in🙌🏼
Yeah buddy!:)
Spenny, get his ass to Natty Select, for the love of god.

Sick! Stoked you had a good time on that board🤌🏻
FRESSSSHH Stale boards. Stalefish Powder shape looks soooo fun. Graphics + RUNES are epic!
Thanks Mate!!
Stoked for the new season!!! Love the new graphics!
Thanks! Cant wait for Winter to come 🙌🏼
You got me hyped for a ROME Ståle!
That´s Rad! These boards are so fun!
Cant wait to try this. The carves
As a pagan and a huge mythology nerd, I love the artwork so much! The runes put together can be seen as a spell for a good riding day too. ^_^
Love the spell for a good riding day🙌🏼
Crann Bethadhin=Celtic Irish tree of life👍
Love the Stalefish so far. My only regret this winter was not taking it to Hokkaido (and taking the 2024 Kazu instead).
😍

Stale what kind of boots do you rock?
Been riding the Deeluxe «deemon» boot the last couple years

Amazing what your board size ? I’m 1,81 for 68 kilos what do you mind ?
I would ride the 156 or 58 Crewzer and the 157 Stalefish then. I am 179cm, 70 kg and ride that👌🏽
can I buy these boards in Japan?
I am pretty sure they are on sale in Japan also:)
thanks a lot for your kind reply!!
Why no more stale mod ? Only exclusive to you now ?
It is unfortunatley not part of the line anymore.
so everybody having the 3bt now?
Makes sense considering both Rome and Bataleon are both part of Low Pressure Studios. So are Lobster and Switchback btw.

This is a different way yes. As the 3d dimond shape is only in the nose of the board. I am a really big fan of it👌🏽
