I will say this..Nique and King made a video set up just like this, just before they broke up…it had the nice background with an LED light of their names, may have even said I love you in the back too…they said a bunch of nothing but one thing that did happen was that King turned to Nique and said “I love you, like I really really love you”, then Nique started crying and so did King. At that point, it wasn’t known to us or Nique that King had been cheating (Nique may have known, or suspected cause you can just tell when things are off with your partner). BUT shortly after that, they broke up. Nique had already started posting all the time on her own channel, that was when she was making a video like everyday with Carmen…which is why she was so well off when they broke up because SHE had already started working on herself! King was just there and to be honest, he’s just there now. Both Laina and King are so dependent on one another. He needs her to make money because a woman/relationship brings him views, without that his engagement may be low. And Laina needs King because she’s just in love with the idea of having a man/marriage/family. I don’t think it really has to be King, but since he’s there and he’s like the total package, she is making it her priority to have him.
We don’t really know what’s going on behind closed doors but it’s not as hard to see as people think. You sit in front of a camera, everyday or every few days with your facial expressions, gestures, and non-existent chemistry, and nothing has ever been wrong? Ever? Then you try to cover it up with excuses that you have babies/kids and that’s why…lies. You both aren’t the first people to ever be in a relationship. Your relationship is nothing new. I hate to tell you that but it’s not. DDG and Halle looked completely happy, but looking back, there were times and pictures that DDG did look done.
And we ALL could just be totally wrong here, maybe you both look completely over the relationship, but behind closed doors you are the happiest people ever. We don’t know but I highly doubt it. But if that’s the case, maybe just take time completely off of TH-cam to get yourselves together and come back looking as happy as you say you magically are when the camera turns off.

the sad truth about is, he jumped in this relationship soon after ending his long term relationship and the goal (based off the documentary) was to focus on himself and grow but that didn’t get to happen. you can’t find YOURSELF if you have to put the energy into a relationship instead of yourself and that’s what’s happening. he’s trying to grow and be HIS OWN person but he’ll never get that with her as she just follows behind him like a lost puppy dog. they both need to find themselves bc as rn it’s very much codependent. Exactly I've always wondered why does she speak for him and why can't he ever have his own things outside of her. In the beginning the energy was fire bc it was their "honeymoon " stage. As soon as the babies started rolling in and real life hit , the light for both of them dimmed a little. Seems like you both need to sit down and decide on your life goals together which would include family and individual goals. You guys have never really done that and didn't get a chance to. Key word King used they are getting older. He has 3 children. As a mother of 3 grown children, it was mandatory for them to all go to a university and finished. TH-cam and content creation can’t be this young man long term goal. I don’t think he really wants to be married either.
That’s why our elders said marriage,then children. It don’t take 5 years to get married. Please young people don’t come for me. I have lived 40 plus years and was married 10 years. This was all said in love.

Marriage doesn’t mean you automatically get a perfect happy life. Also Content creation leads to so many great Opportunities that some degrees will never lead to. Why go to college getting yourself in debt for a career that’s hard or impossible to get into? Also colleges isn’t for everyone & that also doesn’t not automatically mean u get a perfect life. Really life is about learning as you go. Mistakes are apart of that. It’s about not listening to people suggest what u should do. It’s about experience and figuring out what makes you happy not going to college and getting married bc that grandad and grandma did. We gotta stop forcing these “traditions” on people. You can still be successful and not go to college THESE days.

A high school education is not enough in the 21st-century to rise a family. We have a large selection of careers to choose from that will offer a great income with benefits. I agree with change when needed but if this one channel was stressful to come up with content then having 2 personal channels , a kids channel and a travel channel is going to be even more stressful. You will need to be active and consistent on all these channels to maintain subscribers and views. I am not a TH-cam expert but seems like a travel channel only makes sense if you travel a lot. Or else it will still be dormant. To me I don't know why go separate a family channel is meant to be all things family so this channel is all things and that made sense . Pouring into individual channels is not going to give u the motivation to pursue life goals - that has to come from within no matter what channels u r posting on. Laina seems to have strong input which she should as she is a part of this but she does not have a lot of TH-cam experience as a creator and she does not necessarily knows what works. King, u do. So I hope you are giving your input King and maybe also seeking advice from others more experienced and not just going along to get along. Laina you have 2 kids but you are young so listen when i say it doesn't work to force or pressure a man into anything. He will go along and that resentment will come out in other ways. I love this channel as is. Now I understand about the traveling, it wasn't that you traveled its that you guys were there so long I guess we missed you being in Texas and living your normal life.
