I dont think you will be allowed to use the car for more than 15 years..coz now that rule is applicable for commercial vehicles, for private vehicles it would be in effect by 2019

Verna sucks, it lacks power the engine doesn't feel punchy like the rapid. I have test driven both cars and I went for the rapid. Verna also doesn't feel safe to drive, it's move like a tank and has a mind of its own. The rapid is best in all areas.
+vasant gawade they are improving gradually, if people insert some sense to their brains,we could have more german cars by now.they are still stuck with suzuki and honda .how can they improve after sale service if they have a low margin market. after sale services work mostly on car sales. anyway they are eyeing for big dis year rapid gonna get a new facelift looks like superb!

Maintenence wise, the abs sensors goes out once a while but u can easily replace it using a third party sensor online for just 1000 rupees whereas a OEM replacement from skoda service centre will cost u a couple thousands, never had any issues besides that. I have the 2013 model as well, as long as you take care of the car and do regular Maintenence like an oil change, you should be OK. :)
Skoda India is one of the worst brands for after sales services...also the suspensions of rapid 2019 are faulty...I have lost 3 tyres because of this fault... anyone considering to buy skoda..plz be ready to face after sales ordeal u will go through...

this skoda car is way powerful than our indian cars... and its also way better in driving dynamics, handling... interior is solid with german feeling... engine is powerful.. so it makes noise..

Should have gone for diesal, it gives u better mileage.
