Laura fought so hard for it, and the emotion was palpable. I personally found Michael and Violetta's choices to be very tasteful and perfectly strategically. They were my choice to win the battle; but I'm happy how it turned out.
Talented but BOY were the histrionics of the performance miscast in this song. The beauty of the original is the simplicity of the arrangement in tension with the emotional explosiveness of the lyric. Even notorious over-singer, Christina Aguilera, managed to keep her excesses at bay.
Laura has a gorgeous tone. Michael and Violeta give me too much of an Alex and Sierra (Xfactor) vibe. Violeta got very screechy on her high notes. Michael should go solo.

I definitely don't think they were too much, but some of the melody changes toward the end, I was like whew, Violeta is in the stratosphere. I don't think it was needed, but I think they are all so talented and they showed so much emotion!
