- Sri Lanka is the homeland of elephants, jewels and Ceylon tea, well-known to the whole world. There are beaches, the jungle, ruins of the ancient cities, Buddhist and Hindu temples.
Sri Lanka is accurately divided into certain regions, as though specially created for travelers with various interests. If you are interested in the best and most popular beaches, then you need to go straight from the airport to the coast of Negombo or Bentota. Or to one of the beaches between them. If you wish for the sea and the sun, and less people, then it is better to choose the beaches on the Eastern coast.
Fans of the history can straight away, without any delay, head to the central part of the island, where there is the congregation of ruins of the ancient cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, the amazing rock of Sigiriya, numerous temples, monasteries and huge Buddhist stupas. And for those, who enjoy tea, mountain walks and slow trips on trains with charming views - a direct road to the mountain part of Ceylon.

I think only missing part is some part of Colombo, new harbor city, parliament, diyawanna oya, rubber and farm oil plants, species, monasteries, churches, kowil, Northn part of country, gem industry.
Most important part is the history of the country and how spiritually developed those monks mostly in forest heritage, incredible layal and friendly people.

Sir beautiful video of my country. Despite Anuradapuram not only Sinhala area. Originally Anuradapuram ruled by Tamil king. So most places of Origin Lanka named by Sinhala. Despite still happening in all over Lanka. So u are tourist and you have announced the history had been changed . You can take a look before aryan migrated there are only Tamil king ruled by entire Lanka not Sri Lanka. The Sinhala language was born in Lanka
after aryan Vijayan migrated from northern part of India. After British left the named changed into Sri Lanka. Please take look at the ancient history of Lanka not Sri Lanka or Ceylon. Anuradapuram there's a statue of Tamil King of Ellalan but u didn't mention at all. So the way u got information only Sinhala area and about Buddhism. Kathirkamam lord Murgan is Tamil Hindu God but worship by Sinhalese too. Nillavelli Trincomali Tamil's place but u didn't mention at all. Actually it's a Hindu temple, its called Kathigamam Murugan temple, who is Lord Siva's son. in Sinhala, the Sinhalese call Kathirgama thiyo. There was only Hindu temple later the government built Buddhist temple beside. There are two one is on ground and other one is on top of mountain. It's really steep high mountain. Its thousands of years BC old.

Mahinda brought Budusiam to Lanka. So that time period there's a Kathirkamam Hindu Murugan Temple. There's no Budist king reincarnated. Please learn real history of Lanka not Sri Lanka.

Tamils were brought back to Jaffna by Dutch to work in the tobacco plantations. In the 17th Century. Their numbers have increased. English brought the Indian Tamils (Koolis) from Tamilnadu to work in the upcountry tea plantations.

So true history of Lanka day by day changed by The Government. Example the king of Ellalan ruled that time Thutakimunu stabbacked and won the war. Still Anurathapuram we can see Tamil king Ellalan statue. There are many changes of history of Lanka. Kasiappan is Tamil king they are changed into kasiappa even places names too. So we all are citizens of Lanka and must follow the true history.
The Sri name added Lankin after British left. So young generations reading and learning not the real history of Lanka. The true history of Lanka library burned by the government. 5000 years ago written Tholkapium that book also was in that library. So there's no point of discussion because still we can see many Tamil areas after the war changed into Sinhala names. The real history can't be changed or barried. Despite so sad learning wrong history of Lanka
