Have been looking for days for a video that would show how to make the top and bottom angle cuts for a ramp. This is the ONLY one that does it step-by-step and easily. Nothing like someone who understands how to explain the entire process in detail. Thank you! Great teacher.
I am so grateful to have found your video! I have the confidence now to move forward with this weekend’s project. Thank you for the time you took to make it!
You did really good. Great work. I love your enthusiasm and excitement throughout the entire process. Very easy going and laid-back. Little things didn't matter that much to you. Nor should they matter that much to us. It's a ramp and it will be used, walked on, treaded upon even; more times than we could count or even imagine. It will serve its purpose. Thank you for sharing...🙏🏾👍🏾✌🏾
Bravo Mam! Nice to see a pretty lady building something like this. You shamed me since I have a ramp to build for my shed and haven't gotten it done. Great job & video.
When u did your final cut to tidy up the edges, if you turned your circular saw around, their would have been more of the base place of the saw on the timber which would have given you more stability, the way u did it u had the tiny bit of base plate on the wood with the cutting blade making the cut and the majority of the base plate was doing what it pleased because it wasn’t supported, hope this made sense you got the job done, and job looked great me and my family have subscribed thankyou for the content
Thank y'all for subscribing and commenting. Yes, I often mess up but am trying to learn everyday. Thanks for looking out for ya girl 👍🏾 and Blessings to you and the fam 😊
This is an Amazing video, not to mention that you did it by yourself. I built a few ramps, some as help and also with help . God has blessed you with talent
It's video's like yours that build up my confidence to replace my precast concrete steps, with a small wooden porch platform, and a ramp to eliminate the steps going up to my front door. The angle cuts needed for the ramp are the trouble spots for me, but I liked the way you made those look easy to achieve. I appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge with us novices out here. Some of us need all the help we can get. Thank you!
I have to build a ramp for my son-in-law. He just lost his leg in a accident He should be home in a couple weeks, so I found your video very helpful. Thanks for the video, I look forward to watching more of your content.
Sorry to hear that, I pray he is doing well 😇 Thank you for sharing your story and for being here. Let me know how your project turns out! Blessings to you and yours 😇
Thank you for your prayers@@fromherworkshop689 The ramp turned out very nice. Thank you for your channel. I love your voice and how you explain things. very comforting and easy to understand. I hope you keep making content.

Thanks I'm building my first deck with a ramp for a friend that having problems getting up the stairs, and this video helped me keep the cost down by figuring out how to cut the boards at the right angles.
This is awesome!!! I just found it researching ramps. I am thinking of trying one myself cause need it for my husband it's a little bigger project than this but same concept. And nice to see a woman doing it!! Keep it up

I just found you! Very first video that I needed. I love the details of how you did this. I will be doing this myself soon. Thank you so much for this tutorial. Subscribed!
Before she cut the angles, she took a level and put it against the sides of the board. Making sure the level showed level, she drew a line along the edge of the level. Thats the cut line for the angle. Its kind of quick but if you play the video at a slower speed youll see it.
Great video. My only question is: is the ledger board attached to the deck necessary or can you go ahead and attach the ramp stringers directly to the deck?
Thank you very much 😊 Goodness it should be in the play list but with my scattered brains, who knows where it’s at 😂 I will double check n get back to you Blessings to ya 😊
Byron, thanks for watching n the query. To get that bottom angle, I just place the board against the side leaving extra space and mark the top and for bottom I use a level to get a flat edge. Hope I explained it ok Blessings 😊
Nice job! I'm replacing a deck for my 85 year old Mother in Law. It ground level. I have steps in the lowest portion and am doing a ramp on the higher section. 2x6 construction. Thanks for the top on the top angles for the boards of the ramp!! How did you determine your other end angle on that long cut?
So refreshing to see a channel with no crazy expensive tools, just working with what you have and being straight up about delays and costs.
Just doing what I love with no agenda. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. Be Blessed 😊
Expensive Tools dont make you a better carpenter.

Why thank you very much!! Welcome aboard and am very appreciative to have you join the fam. Be Blessed 😊
I sure wish that you would have explained how you went about marking the angles at the ground level!
Before she cut the angles, she took a level and put it against the sides of the board. Making sure the level showed level, she drew a line along the edge of the level. Thats the cut line for the angle. Its kind of quick but if you play the video at a slower speed youll see it.
Awesome lady God bless ya u very talented. 😅

How do you get your bottom angle cut….great video by the way!!!
Byron, thanks for watching n the query.
To get that bottom angle, I just place the board against the side leaving extra space and mark the top and for bottom I use a level to get a flat edge.
Hope I explained it ok
Blessings 😊
Thank you and you’re welcome ☺️
I just held the board up to the end at the angle I wanted then marked and cut it 😇
Very cool! Since it's a shed were you allowed to have a higher grade slope?
Thanks for watching. The homeowner took care of the details and gave me plans for the build. I hope that helps. Be Blessed 😊
Great video, keep up the good work. I just subscribed!!
Thanks so much. Yay, welcome to the Fam. Be Blessed😊
Great job I love when a woman is capable
Thank you, me too. Assets to each other!! Be Blessed 😊
How do you find the angle for the part that has to match the floor you know the part that touches the concrete
I just used a level at the bottom, marked and cut it first then went about the top angle 📐
Very unconventional but worked for me 😊
That’s one extra beefy deck! Hurricane force winds are no match for it.
IKR it has held up quite nicely 💯 Thanks for stopping by and Blessings to you 😇
Could face the boards before nailing to avoid some of them cupping.
Thanks, great advice ✅
How did you determine the second angle?
Which one-bottom of ramp?
If the deck is 25 inch high than you have to have the ramp 16 foot long by the code.
I love you more❤❤❤❤❤❤❤, 😚😚😚😚😚
Bottom cut way too long. Reduces strength of the ramp.
It’s been holding up quite well ✅
Appreciate your input and support!
Blessings 😇
Very nicely done
Thank you very much! Be Blessed 😇
Nice work!
Great job
Good job
