Chris and Karen, the two of you do a great job of investigating cases. How wonderful to see such a loving connected couple. I didn't know what Karen's background was until she mentioned it in this video. It explains how well she handled her call to the Harford Sheriff and her overall demeanour. Karen, I am so so sorry to hear you've had ovarian cancer. I'm surprised at how much the sheriff shared. Police/investigators have to be so careful so they don't damage their case in acquiring more details to support their case and ultimately a fair trial to assure loosers like him get the death penalty or life in prison.
These two are tip top professionals in their field. Love them both.

The Ma & Pa trail is mostly an open trail. The tunnel is only the width of a two-lane road and goes under a major route in the county.
In Texas, surprised he was in Oklahoma not friendly on crime
People don’t live in those tunnels. Not saying people haven’t slept there but there is not an underground community of people. These tunnels are not big or long. And are visible from the trail.
Should businesses who employ undocumented illegal aliens also be held accountable for their help in facilitating these perpetrators (through their compensation for services rendered) who commit violent crimes against U.S. citizens?

It’s not legal but investigation and enforcement is very sporadic. It’s basically employers operating under the honor system. Plenty break the rules.

This basically happened in my backyard and me and my kids have used this trail hundreds of times, I wish they would release what restaurants he was working at in town…
But there’s no “industrial type stuff” in that area like you mentioned … there’s plenty of restaurants around the mall which is less then a mile from trail where Rachel was found.
Watching this now but was hoping to see in the comments which restaurants they were. I live off the Ma&Pa and am part of an ownership team of a local restaurant so it’s super strange we haven’t heard of any of this.

The cameras started being installed in November but were not up and running then. Sheriffs did patrol daily on gators.
Yup my company did the camera installs on the trail.. I’ve used that trail hundreds of times, live a mile away from it…

I remember the days when hiring illegals....was illegal. Its frightening who might be at our hotels.
On a side issue, they might think people were illegally here just because they can speak a different language well and have certain DNA results ( I have German and Russian). Illegal aliens as a group do not commit crimes as often as legal citizens.

There’s an old mansion called the Liriodendron which sits right on top of the Ma&Pa I always thought that was probably where he exited. There’s a path that leads up there right by the attack site and you can see if anyone is coming from both angles. It leads right into town and no one would see you coming. That or through Kelly field. I’m assuming he was staying somewhere off Atwood. Scary stuff
What does ma pa trail in California have to do with what he did in Maryland to Rachel? I’m so confused. Why at the end he thanks Oklahoma for arresting him? The title said bel air which is in California! Can someone clear my confusion please?
@@joanbaczek2575 The crimes against Rachel Morin happened in Bel Air Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore. Not to be confused with Bel Air CA, the famous neighborhood in Los Angeles. However, the suspect also committed crimes in LA too, before heading to MD, so it’s a little confusing.
He was *finally* apprehended in OK, that’s why they are thankful to both Tulsa and Hartford police (I believe)
He definitely got around the country in a short amount of time, which is absolutely horrifying considering any of us women could have been a victim. I pray to God there aren’t more.
I live in Northern CA and I’ve been looking over my shoulder EVERY time I’m out in public since I found out about this terrible tragedy, and I don’t definitely do any jogging or exercise outside the gym.
I don’t care what anyone says, it’s not called “being paranoid” anymore, it’s just called being smart! 2024 is a crazy place! If I had daughters, I’d be teaching them to carry some form of protection. Stay safe ladies!
In my 20s in FL I was robbed twice by Mexican men. One was an illegal, the other one was never caught. His photo is big time trigger. God placed some lovely Spanish friends in my life so I never became pregidice because of that. But I start sweating around Spanish men even in a grocery store isle to this day.
