I own a Tata Punch. Purchased on May 2022. After 1 year warranty, installed CNG kit with proper ECU and Timing advancer kit. The mileage I used to get is 8-10kmpl in Petrol in Bumper to Bumper city usage. The mileage I started getting in CNG is 15-17kmpl (150 kms when filling 9kg full tank). So the average comparison for 10k kms running is 1000 litre petrol vs 670kg gas = 1,02,000 Petrol vs 58,300 Rs. Total saving per 10k km is 43,000 Rs. I have installed the kit when car ODO was 13k km. Today (JUL 2024) is 36k km. Total savings till date is 98,000 Rs. (Ofcourse, my running is improved, since i started using my CNG car for highways due to savings compared to Diesel Creta). Total months = 15, approx 1500km per month. My investment was 60k Rs for kit + 5k for RC endorsement. I am much happy for choosing CNG. Highways at 120kmph cruising, my Tata punch delivers 25kmpl in CNG. In petrol, at that speed cruising, it's only 14-15kmpl. So a very good investment. Do install a kit with a good vendor. I am using German TA kit. Much better than the Italian Kits

CNG is better for cars compared to 20% ethanol mixed petrol which can reduce fuel efficiency for older vehicle, compared to cng , LNG is far better it prove longer range in lesser fuel.

Bro I'm using CNG in new wagon R car. Let we come to know that two types of gas is available. One is CBG that is (compressed bio gas) and another one is CNG (compressed natural gas). But both can be used but cost will vary around 10 rs. Just calculate for cost value. If I load for 500 rs it's running around 180-190kms. Cost per km is 2.70 rs. But for petrol it cost arond 6.00 rs per km Difference of rs 3.00. just calculate for 1,00,000km we are saving around 3.00 lakhs. It's highly economy for regular user. Thanks you 🙏
