At the 9:52 screen, the captions don't really make sense. With the mail set it's possible to use with the class tier with no restrictions. The leather set will take up either the chest or hand which may cause the wearer to make itemization choices.
i'll be going for Armor Kits on my LW as that is my best chance to make any gold with said Profession, as Mats get extremely cheap EXTREMELY fast when compared to Ores and Herbs. that's not to say i wont choose to make Leather or Mail gear, i will simply use their first crafts to my advantage.
I know these guides try to help, but either i'm Dumb or just simply not able to follow all these information. I always tried all type of professions but NEVER EVER since 2016 or some years i never was able to max out and make any of those professions finished completely not even DF one. I love Leatherworking / Skinning but i hate the hassle of multiple items need for 1 - 2 type of armor, like why need enchantment or potion into a leather chest piece? why not just simply leather and that all!
Like your videos. Have a stupid question: let's say I spent 20 points and learned one of Mail patterns, and probably I can craft it for example 2*. If I will spend some Concentration I can get 3*. But nothing stopes me to re-craft it with Concentration to 4* and to 5* 3rd time after my Concentration will be restored back to MAX, so I can have 5* gear 2 weeks from the start of expansion? It probably means reagents will skyrocket in price because people will start re-crafting multiple times at the beginning of expansion.
Concentration only raises a craft to the NEXT level based on your actual capability. If you make a rank 2 naturally, rank 3 with concentration, and then try to recraft it, it's not going to start off at a rank 3. You'll see the same results. The rule of thumb is if you can get it to a 4 naturally you can make it a 5. But if you don't care about quality at all use the cheapest stuff you can get and recraft later when your skills/levels/tools are better.
It's changed a few times so I stopped keeping track, but something like 3-4 days. I tend to think of Concentration like a daily cooldown that you can wear down with stats and development.
I need help Soul! I thought Warbands were just the top 4 toons we placed. Now I hear its all my toons on my account. I have 2 accounts and even my other account sees the same warband account. what gives here? BTW: They have broke guild banks now.
imho, I don't see why we need mats from other profs to craft gear. unless they open unlimited profs to gather my own mats for anything I need. I'm willing to do the work, and effort. needing alts, or another player's ah items to craft is totally unnecessary. much less having to do endgame content to gather the new epic mats from a dungeon or raid boss which ultimately is an rng drop rate nightmare. then there are cd times you can run that content. unlock all for one chtr. all they've done is create an ah farm for the bots, which it does become.

Awesome as always. Excited for free play to try pre patch and see if this is worth coming back for. Glad you are here to go over this. Thank you.
Thank you for another great profession guide.
Thanks for the guide Soul. =)

Are the armor crafts similar to DF? Meaning can u only craft 3 pieces of gear usable by a 70-72 toon? Or, is there an entire set a New 70 can wear?
For me it's a spend month, but I spent last month so it's kinda cooky to do again
how much time does the concentration bar needs to get fulled again?

@@SoulSoBreezy got it! thank you
Are we still limited to the amount of public orders we can do in a week?
iirc it's more like a charge system not a weekly cooldown. But no it hasn't changed
Might be a weird question, but is there any reason to reach lvl 80 for profession alts? Could I in theory just have a leatherworker alt sitting at 70?
As far as I can tell, yes you can just have a lvl 70 BUT some crafts are going to come from world content, raids etc
IIRC profession secondary stats scale up with level
Well done. thankfully this is recorded....high pollen count today....all Is good will try watching again later....so.....later...

so they removed bow crafting from leatherworking? thats pretty sad as it was my whole business model in DF
Yes, only crafted ranged weapon is an Eng gun

It’s because it’s a WORLD of Warcraft. A blacksmith wouldn’t also be a tailor just like a doctor isn’t also a construction worker irl.
Its a mmo so use of the world, its a grind but you can alt army it to be self sufficient
We’ve had it in the past. This expansion is so alt friendly. I have an enchanted who just disenchants everything I can’t use
I've stopped playing wow. Same old thing. I want to play but idk what to do so I just don't
