In all the official credits of KSI, you'll find merely the artists that wrote the songs. Like with Down Like That, you'll have KSI, Rick Ross, S-X and Lil Baby on there. All with their legal names and you'll also find the producers of the track. Producers also get writing credits.
With Jake Paul you only find the producers and ghostwriters, no mention of Jake Paul lol.
You can clearly tell KSI has a certain way of rapping and sticks to it. He writes it and is provable. While Jake Paul had suddenly made a 180 and surprise surprise you can prove it's a ghostwriter within the official credits.
So end of discussion really.

Also if you took the KSI name,brand, fanbase etc. out of the music, and it was just some random guy putting out the same music and verses. It would not be anywhere near as successful imo. Hes had some good songs but most of the success comes from his loyal audience that he built through entertainment youtube vids.
