You gained a subscriber from your seagull spread alone ;) I'm a marine biologist that studies seabirds, I spent the summer traveling Vancouver to Alaska on a ship. I loved all the gulls and cormorants in Vancouver. I just had to subscribe in case you do prints of a more finalized illustration of those gull people in the future. Very beautiful and delicate work. I struggle with using sketch books for only finalized works as well. I need to really utilize them like this, especially while traveling.
oh how wonderful!! I'm so glad you've found inspiration in using a sketchbook for less finalized work, I find it much more fulfilling! I actually do have a print of the seagulls, I just took it down due to lack of interest. If you want one, email me!
Hello! I wanted to say, that your art is really really atmospheric and stunning! I especially love the idea of animal (or bird, as with seagulls, ahaha) - people, the theme of it is very close to me and my heart! Love your artworks and will be gladly waiting for a future videos!
I love this, I need to sketch more while travelling and your sketchbook has exactly the vibe I'm going for. Love your people with animal heads, i have few of them in my sketchbooks as well lol
Bruh, I almost squealed when you showed that mouse drawing. I've been obsessed with beatrix potter and the whole aesthetic of woodland animals in Victorian clothes and I've never heard of Jill Barklem so I'll have to add her to my list. beautiful drawings and such a relaxing video ❤
I really enjoyed your sketchbook tour, stunning drawings and beautiful soft colours. What colour is that you used in Norway, especially the one you related to Norway? It's such a gorgeous colour
hey! i like to work small, the biggest size i work in is 8x10". i recently did a commission in my sketching style, if you're interested feel free to email studio@juliamartens.ca !
Beautiful sketchbook, and such a treasure to look back on.
thank you so so much!
