@@denissssss8579depends on the avr. If it’s high quality like Arcam or Anthem, then you’re good. I have an Arcam AVR300 from 2007 that will put to shame most avr’s today. It has a massive toroidal transformer and capacitor bank for a true 100wpc x 7, plus a bi-amp function for channels 6&7 to power my main speakers so they have 200wpc on tap. It drives my JBL HDI 3800’s magnificently 🔊🔊🔊

this amplifier deserves a better speaker
No it doesn’t, these are an awesome match. The new JBL 4359 is an awesome speaker and state of the art in many ways for a horn loaded two way. Measurements back up how wide dispersion and low distortion they are.
JBL vs Klipsch....? Any opinions.
Both are on the forward side, but Klipsch definitely more so. Both make great speakers, so choice is a matter of personal preference.
I've heard JBL is a horn speaker that sounds least like a horn speaker. He has a song comparison between Cornwalls and some JBL. I thought the Cornwalls had a sibilant issue with "Ss".
@@cdgerhart Thank you for the reply. I have a set of JBL studio monitors that I fell in love with. Cheap LSR-305 first generation. They have a horn wave guide but not deep like some JBL or Klipsch horns. I am impressed with how I can hear them both anywhere in the room. Very smooth and wide soundstage.
maybe I don’t understand something, but snare drum clogs everything else. The overall picture is somehow blurry (rather because of the recording method - the microphone moves around the room all the time). With all due respect to JBL products, I consider this demonstration as non the best

@@redleather100 I know, but at least we know lifelike and natural sound. I hate being a snoot but BOSE is the best and anything else is just a cumbersome and expensive wife hated feature on the yacht. We even had the country club wired with BOSE because it's the best.
