The recliners look great. Just please beware not to squish a kitty under the seats when they get powered upntonrecline or go back to upright position. Vitamin C is a big help to ward off 'bugs'. Feel better soon!
When my cousin built his mother’s house at the shore, they did lay down their flooring first then he got non adhesive protective flooring paper at Lowe’s or Home Depot. He then secured the paper with painters tape. It did bunch up a bit, but overall it worked very well. I helped sanding the trim and window sills, once the paper was carefully rolled up there was just a bit of dust on the floor. That was easily cleaned up.
Exposed plumbing makes sense for your install and needs. If I hit the lottery and were going to do visible plumbing, I'd go with copper. You could install the floor and put heavy floor paper like contractors use to protect it. I'd be torn about work vs play ratio too. Sometimes a bit of time off work is a great way to recharge and be more productive. I find a prioritized to do list helps me focus immensely.
For what it’s worth, vitamin c and zinc on a daily basis can help keep those bugs in check. My wife works in a hospital and does this. Also used by folks who travel via airplane. Seems to work well and it’s cheap 😉
@ but that is more for muscles, as im on it for my heart and it has really helped over the years. i was on the crappy magnesium oxide until rececntly, heard only a portion of it absorbs, but you are right, glycinate and citrate are both good. glycinate is best but i like the citrate the best.
Hey, I saw someone on your roof when I drove by a few days ago. Hope it was either you or Kevin (EDIT, I meant Wayne). Any way, bus build is looking good. I can't wait to see what you do on the walls. If you try to fill the gaps in the panels with anything , don't use plaster. It ill just fall out before you get the bus to the the main road out of the LTVA. There is an elastomeric joint filling compound that is really good but I can't remember what it is actually called or the brand. Try that before you paint or whatever and it will help the wall treatment look better. Stay safe and get well over there. I'll stay over here in Tyson Wash where I am not getting sick. lol
I love your idea to keep your water lines inside the bus. I do hope you consider covering them with a “L” shape wooden cover and leave the ends open for air circulation. Also, we love our RecPro power recliners too! Get well soon.
Good idea about the water lines. I once had a house where the water lines came up through the exterior walls, they froze a couple of times. Eric, I've one vinyl plank in 10 apartments and I can tell you that Shaw is the best of the lot in my book. What ever you do turn a piece of scrap into a tapping block so you can get nice tight joints. They also sell rubber blocks for this but with those you always run the risk of breaking off some the tongue and groove. Good luck and take a week off for vacation so you'll feel better.
@phild1160 A TH-cam video of Paul Barger just recently showed him getting a ticket for having a yellow school bus and not wearing a seatbelt in quartzite by Arizona State troopers.
Hey hooking up your PEX directly to the water pump will have lots of vibration noise. Use long soft lines from pump to to lines will help this. Also try to isolate noise from pump and floor mounting points, put something soft under pump and floor like a pice of mat.
Possibly...but my mom didn't, she's gotten sick too, 3x's...these people don't eat well and that's part of the problem. I eat leafy greens 5-7x's a week, once a day, in a salad...haven't had a cold in nearly 15 years!
Just a heads up. Before you drive your yellow bus anymore you might want to check and see the legalities of driving a bus painted yellow that is not a school bus in Arizona. I don't know if it matters whether it's titled in state or out-of-state but Paul Barger just got a ticket 100 foot from his destination. He was stopped by an Arizona state trooper and ticketed his schoolie still being painted yellow. It shall be unlawful to operate: (1) Any vehicle displaying the words "SCHOOL BUS" unless it meets the color, identification, and equipment requirements set forth in Code Section 40-8-113 or 40-8-115; (2) A vehicle without the words "SCHOOL BUS" but which is of a color and exhibits some equipment or identification which reasonably could cause a motorist to confuse it with a properly colored, identified, and equipped school bus; (3) Any school bus for any purpose other than the transportation of school children to or from school or school activities without concealing or covering all markings thereon indicating "SCHOOL BUS"; or (4) A vehicle which has been permanently converted from the purpose of transporting students to or from school or school activities without first having painted such vehicle some color other than the yellow required in subsection (b) of Code Section 40-8-110 and without having removed the stop arms, if any, and any other equipment required by Code Section 40-8-111.
After all the research I did I'm seeing that it only has to be done if it's registered in arizona. If the bus is purchased in another state then it has to follow those state laws and while passing through Arizona those laws apply
We have recliner like but for big and tall version. Our grand daughter when she was little claimed the middle her seat and put her little feet in the cup holders 😂
It was great to see ya the other day, the bus is looking great! We love it! We just got our movie theater popcorn machine delivered for movie night! In a couple of weeks, we will have another movie night! Take time off and come and have fun! Scott will let ya know and hopefully you get to feeling better! Our camp has no sickness lol! Schooling palazzo is a blast we were also thinking of going! You will love it!
Just a bit of advise. When you lay down vinyl plank, make sure you go around anything that is secured to the wall. The vinyl plank is a floating floor and needs to expand and contract. You will have problems with the floor if it can't "float". Coming from a Flooring employee at Lowe's. The build looks great.
You should paint your school bus RV before you leave Quartzsite . Bresd Trucker reciive a ticket for having his bus color still yellow. He was near Cottonwood AZ.
Saw video on a TH-cam channel called "Paul Barger" he got a citation from AZ state trooper for having a school bus painted yellow. You better check into that bus being painted yellow apparently that is illegal.
Hi Eric, instead of drilling the roof for the solar, consider building a rack system so you can mount the panels, antennas and so forth, without drilling a new hole on the roof everytime!
Common misconception. The Blue and Red color ae only skin deep and just there for people to have a visual reference when working on them later. You can also get white PEX. it is all the same spec.
Eric the reason Diane has not been sick is because she eats fruit and veggies. You need to at least take vitamin c and zinc with some vitamin D and K2. Take care of yourself, cause if you don't then you get sick, its that simple. And you only have one body so you should respect it and take very special care of it.
My hubby has been sick early dec,,you need to rest vitamins, and keep taking your ag1, I wish I could take aG1 but alergic,to mushrooms,, the bus is looking awesome,, take care ,,,from just northeast of Toronto..we’re it’s frigging ass cold,🥶..and snow up to my waist,,
if you're not really hanging around people and just working on the bus, could you be getting ill from chemicals in the bus,i.e chemicals off gassing from the wood, spray foam, paints, epoxy, glues and plastics in a enclosed area, just a thought, keep safe, check the msds (material safety data sheet) for the items you're using, you never know, better safe than sorry.
Hey man, my grandpa and I have traveled from Calgary Alberta, Canada. And are in the quartzite area. Would love to meet you in person and shake your hand!
Just a comment about leaving the water lines exposed. Years ago our cat climbed into an unfinished part of our basement and chewed half a dozen little pin holes in our water lines. I was able to find it pretty quickly and shut the water off.
Airborne works pretty good too. If catch the sickness early enough you can take Tamiflu. Just a thought. Looking great 👍🏻. There’s several different variations of flu and cold going around which a lot of people are getting sick from them.
Yo Eric, Use plastic paneling for bathroom walls, otherwise the wood walls will trap the shit smell. And you cant wet the wood without problems arising. But you can spray and wipe the panels.
Try drinking hot lemon water with honey and cayenne pepper. Find a sauna, and try to refrain from eating dairy for awhile. Also having hand wipes with you at all times is a must. Everyone touches door handles. Oh and puff on your own ~ no sharing.
What are you putting under the mattress to keep it from getting mildew/mold? I know they have air flow mats or the frolli sleep system. Some just cut holes all over the plywood. The walls look great. Much brighter.
You might want to get some of that plastic strapping material to secure water lines to prevent friction rubbing on edges like wood and steel place the lines might touch.
Water lines inside is a great, my Newmar has the same concept. You can always hide in a pipe chase. Same Recpro we have. The powered version still going strong!
The recliners look great. Just please beware not to squish a kitty under the seats when they get powered upntonrecline or go back to upright position. Vitamin C is a big help to ward off 'bugs'. Feel better soon!
Time to eat more decorations on your plate
Lol 😅

Make some holes on your bed board, Eric. So your mattress can get some air circulation.
Or get the underlayment
Exposed plumbing makes sense for your install and needs. If I hit the lottery and were going to do visible plumbing, I'd go with copper.

I'd be torn about work vs play ratio too. Sometimes a bit of time off work is a great way to recharge and be more productive. I find a prioritized to do list helps me focus immensely.
You could have allergies from all the cats and dust. You need to get an air filter. Hope you feel better soon, zink and vitamins 😊
For what it’s worth, vitamin c and zinc on a daily basis can help keep those bugs in check. My wife works in a hospital and does this. Also used by folks who travel via airplane. Seems to work well and it’s cheap 😉
and d3 with K2.
and Magnesium Glycinate
@ but that is more for muscles, as im on it for my heart and it has really helped over the years. i was on the crappy magnesium oxide until rececntly, heard only a portion of it absorbs, but you are right, glycinate and citrate are both good. glycinate is best but i like the citrate the best.
@ without magnesium the body can’t properly process D and high doses of D can deplete magnesium. I take both at night and sleep like a baby 💤
@ good point and i take a few,, b1, b12, c (the real c, not ascorbic acid), d3 with k2,, mag, zinc. and a baby asp a day, for good measure, lol.
Consider driving it now, before putting up siding and flooring to make sure that, as the bus twists on rougher roads, that all that wall stays put.
I can’t imagine the walls not falling down once it hits the road…

Who is Kevin? You mean Wayne?
@sherribeach4160 D'oh! Yeah, I meant Wayne.
If that Yellow wire under your chair over time gets worn down it can cause a short and fire ! Move it away from any movement !
I love your idea to keep your water lines inside the bus. I do hope you consider covering them with a “L” shape wooden cover and leave the ends open for air circulation. Also, we love our RecPro power recliners too! Get well soon.
The bus is looking a lot smaller inside, already
Water lines inside is smart 👍 can always box it in with a cover to protect it in high traffic spots.
PS- congrats on the recliner find! Jackpot!
Good idea about the water lines. I once had a house where the water lines came up through the exterior walls, they froze a couple of times. Painted plywood looks like jackleg ass amateur hour. At least put burlap on it or something.
@@justsomeguy6474 he stated he will leave it painted. It can have 10 coats, and it will still look like ass.
Warning Eric Arizona gives tickets to private school busses that are left yellow.
They are all over the place
@phild1160 A TH-cam video of Paul Barger just recently showed him getting a ticket for having a yellow school bus and not wearing a seatbelt in quartzite by Arizona State troopers.

you took that jab

I had the powered version of the couch recliner in my motorhome and loved it. You will, too. And $500 is a steal.

He really doesn't care about what we are thinking. Good to know.
The bus is looking awesome! I'm excited to see the progress.
We have recliner like but for big and tall version. Our grand daughter when she was little claimed the middle her seat and put her little feet in the cup holders 😂
Glad you got the fabric rec pro the other material peels like every other RV furniture I’m so disappointed in ours
It was great to see ya the other day, the bus is looking great! We love it! We just got our movie theater popcorn machine delivered for movie night! Sounds like a great idea keeping the water lines inside, just put some pretty molding to cover them and protect them and you are good to go. 😊
Just a bit of advise. When you lay down vinyl plank, make sure you go around anything that is secured to the wall. The vinyl plank is a floating floor and needs to expand and contract. I took the flu shot when I was forty. I’m 71 now and for the last 31 yrs I have not gotten sick either with the flu or cold.
Works good, doesn’t it!!!!
Why wouldn't you mount your TV down further so it's not partially in front of the window?
The windows behind the TV are completely blocked off by the wall. H may end up moving it side to side, he did say it was temporarily mounted.
He made mention of a fireplace. This guy likes to live in a shaper image catalogue with all kinds of unnecessary gadgets.
You should paint your school bus RV before you leave Quartzsite . Bresd Trucker reciive a ticket for having his bus color still yellow. He was near Cottonwood AZ.

Love the water lines. Most people don't fix any issues that happen. Make it easy to access. Love it.
Hi Eric, instead of drilling the roof for the solar, consider building a rack system so you can mount the panels, antennas and so forth, without drilling a new hole on the roof everytime!
You will always be a good Kitty Dad! Jax (bless his heart!) trained you well. Keep taking care Eric!
Time to start taking some Vitamin C, Eric.
Stay away from crowds, stop excessive drinking, let your body build back up, also wash your hands a lot! Get good sleep, take vitamins.!
do not use the blue line on hot water is will fail with time. Change it out for red before enclosing it.
Common misconception. The Blue and Red color ae only skin deep and just there for people to have a visual reference when working on them later. You can also get white PEX. it is all the same spec.
Starting to look like nice already on the inside. Painting makes such a difference.
Put the floor in, then cover it with paper. They sell it by the roll. Good luck.
Eric, hope you get well soon. I live in Gilbert, AZ, You should have stopped by.....Glad you got a great deal on the recliner. The bus looks awesome.
Ya, right! He knows you and had your address! Be right over, stranger!
The pex piping inside to keep them warm is pretty smart.
Not only that but much easier to repair when something goes wrong
Pretty impressive! Rest up and take care of yourself. 😊
The bus build is looking good! Feel better soon 😊
What about putting the pex lines inside another pvc pipe to protect them and in case they leak they don't flood bus
Put the flooring down then cover it with construction cardboard for the walkways
Eric the reason Diane has not been sick is because she eats fruit and veggies. You need to at least take vitamin c and zinc with some vitamin D and K2. Take care of yourself, cause if you don't then you get sick, its that simple. And you only have one body so you should respect it and take very special care of it.
THAT'S SO TRUE 💯💯💯
He thinks it’s funny to not eat vegetables because they are just “decorations”. 😢
I had the same thing and I am in Europe! a recurring cold for weeks, last one even got to affect my eardrum! Be safe Eric.
My hubby has been sick early dec,,you need to rest vitamins, and keep taking your ag1, I wish I could take aG1 but alergic,to mushrooms,, the bus is looking awesome,, take care ,,,from just northeast of Toronto..we’re it’s frigging ass cold,🥶..and snow up to my waist,,
Relax for day or two to get better listen to your body😉👋🤗
I think your inside water idea is GREAT!!
Sing it Frank, I did it my way😂😂😂
Haha I was hearinf Frankie in my head sing when he kept saying that too 🤣💕👍
Keep your hands washed!! and when can't !! use hand sanitizing !!
Don’t get burnt out. “ know when to hold them , know when to throw them , know when to walk away. Take a break
Awesome deal. We have the same one and love it.
Throw a mult vitamin in with those tater tots since you don't like the decorations.
I decided to wrap the walls of the RV I am restoring. Wraps used for cars are now available for interior walls.
if you're not really hanging around people and just working on the bus, could you be getting ill from chemicals in the bus,i.e chemicals off gassing from the wood, spray foam, paints, epoxy, glues and plastics in a enclosed area, just a thought, keep safe, check the msds (material safety data sheet) for the items you're using, you never know, better safe than sorry.
Eric ... just build what you want. I just enjoy your building fun. :)
Hey man, my grandpa and I have traveled from Calgary Alberta, Canada. And are in the quartzite area. Would love to meet you in person and shake your hand!
Thank you for content that isn't just a commercial.
Happy new year from Amsterdam, get well, maybe the subwoofer can fit in the middle part of the couch, have fun building
I'm so impressed by the build! You'll have it done in no time at all.
I am happy for you, Diana, and the kitties to be able to sit together all cosily. It will strengthen your bond.
Sounds like the Hobo Flu.
We just got the same chairs! Love it! Just wish the mid section between the seats would come down.
Ever thought about bead board for the walls?
Just a comment about leaving the water lines exposed. Years ago our cat climbed into an unfinished part of our basement and chewed half a dozen little pin holes in our water lines. I was able to find it pretty quickly and shut the water off.
Airborne works pretty good too. If catch the sickness early enough you can take Tamiflu. Just a thought. Looking great 👍🏻. There’s several different variations of flu and cold going around which a lot of people are getting sick from them.
Please put a cover on it so it stays clean. A permanent one.
Yeah, cause there is nothing more comfy than a recliner wearing a condom. This isn't the sitting room from the 80s that no one sat in.
The water lines in climate controlled areas make a lot of sense 👍👍good call
Yo Eric, Use plastic paneling for bathroom walls, otherwise the wood walls will trap the shit smell. And you cant wet the wood without problems arising. But you can spray and wipe the panels.
Try drinking hot lemon water with honey and cayenne pepper. Find a sauna, and try to refrain from eating dairy for awhile. Also having hand wipes with you at all times is a must. Everyone touches door handles. Oh and puff on your own ~ no sharing.
You should look up Valley Fever in Arizona. You may be fighting that off.
I don’t typically comment on videos, but I think your water line philosophy makes complete sense. 😊
What are you putting under the mattress to keep it from getting mildew/mold? I know they have air flow mats or the frolli sleep system. Some just cut holes all over the plywood. The walls look great. Much brighter.
This is kind of long pretty good. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
Some faux wood vinyl flooring for the wall. Easy to clean easy to install. 🎉
Get well soon Eric! Great progress on the bus.
The bus is looking good so bright👍
Watching a 50 inch tv from 4 feet away.
Everything is looking great. Get well soon Eric.
Your bus is going to be beautiful. So happy for you two. And kitties.
Have you thought about wallpaper? There are many HI-tech vinyl wall coverings now days...Most newer RV's use them.
Home Depot spray foam would of been cool for insulation
Cats are 100% going to chew through the water lines 😢.
Obviously you have never done anything with pex. A cat is not going to chew through it. Hell, my multi tool barely chews through it.
You might want to get some of that plastic strapping material to secure water lines to prevent friction rubbing on edges like wood and steel place the lines might touch.
you scored a great deal on that couch!
What are you planning to use for levelling the bus?
Dude even thought you have to build the bus, you also need to spend time with your friends when you have the opportunity.
Easy access to water pipes and make them cat proof. That's all.
Are you adding an accumulator tank for the water ?
you might have to quit drinking for a while, it could be making you sick
Get well soon! Your bus is looking awesome!!
Put you tooth brush in peroxide
Thanks!
Absolutely love you and your videos!!!
I think exposed lines are a good idea bc of the repair options
Water lines inside is a great, my Newmar has the same concept. You can always hide in a pipe chase.
Same Recpro we have. The powered version still going strong!
I'm not, Down With the Sickness.
What's up with the law in Arizona that you can't drive a yellow bus? I haven't heard that one!
Nice couch. Looks comfy!!
