I've been on a number of whale watching tours. I've seen lots of whales....but I've never seen so much activity from the whales as you did. The slapping of the tails and jumping was amazing. You lucked out.
Serenade took me to seven countries on the way to Amsterdam in 2016. Awesome ship..awesome trip. Love Royal Caribbean. Travelled to Alaska several times with them. Awesome beauty. Super fun.
l love the whales. We saw a bunch of them too. This was about 2 weeks before your cruise on the Miracle. It was on a tour in Juneau. I was just like Dee on her 1st AK cruise. I couldn't stop crying. It is so emotional.
Wow! That looked amazing but very very rocky out on the boat! How very cool that you saw so many whales breaching and thumping their tail "exercising"! I saw many selections from the dinner that we had enjoyed on our Adventure of the Seas cruise...love that Steak Diane, the Asian Tacos and the Tiramisu! Thanks for your wonderful sharing!
Thanks for the refreshing cruise footage. While most other cruise vloggers panhandle with needles live chats or cruise news about nothing new you guys always deliver the good stuff.
Wow how amazing those beautiful whales are! Your so close too! Ummm a bit choppy on the seas but so worth it!! Beautiful 💕💕💕💕 Also Tony from La Lido Loca and Don got amazing video of killer whales that surrounded their boat! Whales realize it’s been COVID and happy to be with cruisers again! Haha! Awesome!
I live in Santa Barbara and have been on whale watching boats many times but it's been a while. This makes me want to go again. The best was when we encountered 3 blue whales. One of them came right up along side of the boat (it was bigger than the boat!) and rolled over to look at us. Everyone was at the railing leaning over to say hi. I have no words to say how beautiful the experience was. 🐳✨💖
That looked like the most amazing day!! Thank you for sharing the video. You feel so small when you are in Alaska, being a part of nature with the beautiful whales.
Great videos but I would love some commentary on the food, especially when you try something new. Thanks for your videos, they are keeping me going until my next cruise and making my mouth water!
You were so lucky to see so many whales on your excursion! We saw more whales from the ship than on our $165 excursion on NCL in July 2019. We did have much better weather, however. I think I'd rather see whales!!!
You need to see the whales in Maui, it is a much different experience. In Alaska they are there to feed and then when they get to Maui they have their babies and are training them and playing more. They are both fantastic experiences, you just get more in Hawaii!
This was awesome!! Nature in all of her beauty and the creatures that call her their home. This was absolutely beautiful. I sent your video to a client that’s looking to book an Alaskan cruise and she is beyond excited.
We went on an Alaska cruise one of many that we have taken actually we have gone up there 11 times and last time on our whale watching trip which was May 2019 we saw one whale ..you are so lucky that you saw so many! that’s unbelievable! next time we go we will book it at the last cruise in the season Sept ..in the fall it sounds like that’s the best time to go not early in May… lucky 🍀 you two were .. great video!!
We did Harv & Marv whale watching in Juneau four years ago and it was great. We are going back next May and plan on using them again. Thanks for the great content as usual.
At first I thought 48f isn't that cold. Then you mentioned the trip and I totally understood the layering...Miss going whale watching, you were so lucky to see all those!
Once again, You’ve enriched my morning. I hope May ( my cruise ) brings an amazing whale trip. I wonder if nature is more abundant because of the shutdown? I wondered if it was a Bonine day for you, Dee. It definitely would be for me. Looking at the beauty of the mountains brings a tear. I will be so overwhelmed with my first Alaska trip next year. Thanks for sharing.
That was a great video. You were so lucky to get so many whales to view. Your video was very clear. I wonder how far they were from you... what zoom lense is on your camera? Thank you for sharing.
Seeing you have done a number of different whale watching, what would you say is better? Bigger boats or smaller ones like Harv & Marv? I like the idea of smaller groups, but as your footage shows, it can be a little bouncy if the wind is up
I'm guessing Steak Diane is a Royal thing. We had it on Mariner in 2019. I liked its name so yeah I ordered it. 😁 Also ... Loving the sail away time lapse videos!
Not sure if you put this under one of the other videos, but what time of year did you take this cruise? We are going on a similar itinerary in May and I wanted to gauge the weather possibilities.
When they say this was 'a month's worth of whale activity in one day'.....It makes me feel that when I go ,....I can look forward to nearly nothing....
Love the Sock of the Day
Love the socks Jay! The whales knew Dee was coming. Have fun, you’re making up for lost time.

Dee, you shot some amazing pics....love the sock of the day Jay...fun....
Wow you had an amazing time. Thanks for letting me be part of it.
Thanks for the refreshing cruise footage. While most other cruise vloggers panhandle with needles live chats or cruise news about nothing new you guys always deliver the good stuff.
Jay stretching his peduncle muscle had me rolling!

Thanks so much for sharing. That was magical. Alaska mountains, glaciers and whales doesn't get better than that
You guys know how to catch our interest , great job.

July was so beautiful and warm!
That was amazing and beautiful! Now... that French onion soup had me all in my feelings haha
Incredible Footage! I love the rock and roll of the small boat experience. It was definitely "sporty" out there. Thanks for sharing.
See ya tomorrow!
Just saw the Dee photos. Amazing!!!
Just amazing! Thank you Jay and Dee!
Awesome footage!!! So lucky to see all the whales!
Amazing activity!! So lucky🐳
You were so lucky to see so many whales on your excursion! We saw more whales from the ship than on our $165 excursion on NCL in July 2019. We did have much better weather, however. I think I'd rather see whales!!!
As soon as Jay said you were going on a 4 hour tour, the Gilligan's theme song popped in my head!!!🤣
Dee is rubbing off; I cried and I'm not even there in person😭.....yet
When I get the chance to cruise to Alaska I will be taking the Harv & Marv's tour. I love nature and enjoyed seeing your videos of your adventure.
Morning guys!
Amazing !!
Excellent, as always! Your vlogs help me decide what I want to do on my trips, as well as what I'd be ok skipping. Thanks for sharing!
Goodmorning guys, keep it up.
Loving ❤ the vlogs 😍
Great video and happy you got to see so many whales
We got lucky as well our last Alaska cruise and got to see pods of Orcas and Humpbacks
Your Alaska vlogs are my favorite!! Love them.
You need to see the whales in Maui, it is a much different experience. In Alaska they are there to feed and then when they get to Maui they have their babies and are training them and playing more. They are both fantastic experiences, you just get more in Hawaii!
I totally agree!! Lots of breaching and little babies next to momma, what an experience!!
New Edition Of Bean Boozled 6th edition
My eyes are sweating for some reason. Thank you both.

So awesome all of the whale you saw. I’m looking forward to my trip to Alaska next year. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
What an awesome tour!! 💕
Awesome! Hope to do this excursion next year when we go to Juneau.
I enjoyed seeing you both in my hometown doing one of my absolute favorite things - whale watching!
Nice!
This was awesome!! Nature in all of her beauty and the creatures that call her their home. This was absolutely beautiful. I sent your video to a client that’s looking to book an Alaskan cruise and she is beyond excited.

At first I thought 48f isn't that cold. Then you mentioned the trip and I totally understood the layering...Miss going whale watching, you were so lucky to see all those!
Now you can visit Newfoundland, Canada and come see our whales!
It's humpbacks there too right?
We have multiple species actually!
So glad you had an awesome whale watching experience. If the temperature is above freezing it’s not really cold! Haha from Toronto, Canada
Awesome excursion Dee and Jay - there be whales ! Your socks are indeed a fitting Theme for this day - cheers 🍻 Chef Bari
Hello Juneau . Great video. So informative .
Thank you for sharing..enjoying your trip with you. Making me so anxious for my October cruise...can't wait!
What are your next cruises?
Once again, You’ve enriched my morning. I hope May ( my cruise ) brings an amazing whale trip. I wonder if nature is more abundant because of the shutdown? I wondered if it was a Bonine day for you, Dee. It definitely would be for me. Looking at the beauty of the mountains brings a tear. I will be so overwhelmed with my first Alaska trip next year. I think that is a armadillo (towel animal)? Sorry....I commented before I finished the video before. The excursion was just sooo amazing!
That was a great video. You were so lucky to get so many whales to view. Your video was very clear. I wonder how far they were from you... what zoom lense is on your camera? Thank you for sharing.
I'll be there next week and I'm praying to capture as many breeches!
Seeing you have done a number of different whale watching, what would you say is better? Bigger boats or smaller ones like Harv & Marv? I like the idea of smaller groups, but as your footage shows, it can be a little bouncy if the wind is up
we are going to try for Alaska next year! I heard September is good for Northern Lights - have you seen them on the cruise?
We haven’t. The forecast has been low all week. Ah well!!
I'm guessing Steak Diane is a Royal thing. We had it on Mariner in 2019. I liked its name so yeah I ordered it. 😁
Also ... Loving the sail away time lapse videos!
I could not be on that boat! Way to Rocky. I’d be puking:(
Dee, question, where did you buy your white plush jacket?! Husband and I are talking about doing an Alaska cruise. Thanks!
It’s a North Face brand, scored for $5 on Vinted!! :D
@@parodeejay thanks Dee!👍
HA 48 degrees is sweatshirt weather in Rhode Island lol
Not sure if you put this under one of the other videos, but what time of year did you take this cruise? We are going on a similar itinerary in May and I wanted to gauge the weather possibilities.
Yes indeed, we put the date in the upper left corner of every video at the very beginning, as well as in the video description!! :D
9:10 Id be so sick. I’m gonna follow Dee on the Bonine on Msc Seaside in a couple weeks but she sure has a stronger stomach than me.
48 degrees LOL
wanna go whale watching with Dee the nature whisperer
When they say this was 'a month's worth of whale activity in one day'.....It makes me feel that when I go ,....I can look forward to nearly nothing....
