Let's be honest, if it really was about legacy for Joshua he would have taken any offer to get the Wilder fight and have all the belts. He wouldn't accept a 50/50 split. So he's either ducking or just plain greedy.
Take your sentence, and replace 'Joshua' with 'Wilder'. Then ask yourself which of the two actually made any real contract offer at all.

Anthony Joshua fights Jarrell Miller next in New York. Its an easy fight for Joshua and gets him in the American boxing scene, this was always the plan hence the "pack of peanut" offers they made to Whyte, Wilder and Fury
This would make sense. Raise Joshua's profile for a couple of rounds work.

Though Eddie has said in the rematch they would move to 50/50 and that is a really good deal (if AJ loses) AJ has all the belts and brings most of the money, even if he didnt have all the belts he would still bring most of the money. Sad but true. Wilder if he was a real champion and was about legacy would take the fight for anything, for a real boxer the chance to win the belts is the draw, not the money from fighting a cash cow.

Fury still had 8k traveling fans fly out to LA through so I'm sure next time it's bigger than that! Nobody will ever know the true numbers but I'd say he got about £8m which isn't bad for a 3rd comeback fight! I can see the next one being in Vegas, if it is I can see him doing £15+m as they get cuts from the casino takings too on top of everything else.

Totally agree. All been a gameplan by Warren and Finkel to leave AJ out in cold and make look bad whilst fury and wilder fight each other which gains public interest and increases their commercial value. They couldn't have wished for a better result in a draw neither (probably fixed) as they get to play it all again leaving AJ out in the cold again and being perceived as ducking them when in reality it's just been a brilliant strategy by Warren and finkel.

Fury will make more money fighting AJ with 60/40 than fighting Wilder with 60/40.. Why is it ok for Fury to accept a deal with Wilder for 60/40 and not accept a deal with AJ for 60/40.... it makes no sense. Frank wants the WBC and he believes Fury will be able to get 50/50 with AJ if he has WBC belt... now he is lying that he got offer for 60/40 cause he can't argue why they are accepting 60/40 with Wilder...
