    Thanks.
We have a couple of QNAP devices that are coming out of production shortly. I will try this out and see how it works.

That will be a fantastic use-case to use them as a secure backup repository. I assume you know already all the security drill, like disable cloud services, enable MFA to the login, make the admin login only on specific internal range, keep the less admins possible etc. Keep us posted, mate!

What happens when you try to delete the storage space in which you have the objects buckets configured? Does it allow you to do so (forcefully)?

Did you have QTS or QUTS Hero installed for this demonstration? I'm attempting to get QuObjects with immutability setup on QuTS Hero but I have more options when setting up the storage space. Specifically, the option to enable WORM and choose compliance or enterprise mode. If I leave WORM disabled it will not allow immutability. The bucket options are all the same and configured as demonstrated. However, I receive errors when attempting to run backup jobs with immutability specified. Any suggestions?

QTS Hero mit WORM need QuObjects 2.4.1565 (via Support), but too slow, too-too-slow

Great video!!. Veeam must run over a Linux server or it's independent from the OS? Thanks!!

Hello, Veeam runs on a Windows server. It can be a VM inside your vSphere environment.

Which models support this? I have 3 qnap appliances and when I installed it on them, the advanced feature is not available?

Hello, you need the latest QuObjects version. You can look on the quobjects releases notes page for object lock functionality.
      Let me know

Can you comment on the speed attained, vs native NFS/SMB?

I tried Veeam Backup & Replication 12 with free licenses but when I create a job it tells me that the enterprise license is needed.
    It's correct?

For using Object Storage Repositories, yes it is required if I am not mistaken.
