@@gradymcclintock6160 CJP has no problem running in the rain because she has functioning Sanders General Sam Houston on the other hand has her Sanders disconnected the firemen has to take a bucket bucket of sand to sand the rails manually and here is an interesting fact I spoke to the Railroad asking which engine head bigger drivers and this will surprise you that CJP is equipped with larger drivers then the General Sam Houston 30 inches in diameter while the General Sam Houston’s drivers are 28 inches in diameter having smaller drivers to accommodate a larger locomotive
That locomotive runs great in the rain. It's got a good sander! Always more fun in the rain anyway. Makes for a good steam show. Love my little Porter.
