I am so grateful I didn’t listen to advice about not dating a co-worker! My husband and I met and beagn our relationship when we worked for the same small insurance company. Thankfully we didn’t pay any attention to the “never date someone you work with” advice, which was floating around even in 1996. We just celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary earlier this month! I worked at the company for 3 years and my husband worked there for 2 years. Folks, that’s NOTHING compared to a marriage! Now in 2022 we hardly remember working at that company. Jobs come and go but a spouse is for life. I believe that dating someone you work with is an invaluable way to really get to know him or her, what they’re really like, their work ethic, how they treat other people, and what others think about him/her. Never miss a chance to find a soulmate because of arbitrary advice or a job you might not even have 2 years from today. Ask yourself what will matter 25 years from now. ❤️
