So this is my first comment/review on the highboy S2 pro that I bought back in November for Black Friday. So far the only thing that has went out was the bell( easy fix). Other than that I live in South Florida and I have been riding through countless rainstorms heavy and light rain moderate puddles of bridges during the rain and everything you can imagine in Florida over dirt and some sand. I've also did some jumps with this thing off of curves and had to tighten the latch on the stem with an allen key but that's about it this scooter is very very solid I would say 10 out of 10 I recommend this for anybody.

I bought my Hiboy S2 Pro a year ago this month and I’ve been using it to commute to work and back since without any problem… my workplace is actually less than 2 miles from my home so…… 🤷🏽♂ I’ve also gone to my bank and to the supermarket (for a few groceries) which are both about 4 miles from my home so…..
FWIW, I have a similar Hiboy Max V2 for a few years, and have been very happy with it. I keep it in the RV and use it very similar to how you used it in this video. I also used it one time to drop off my car at the shop a few miles away and then ride it back home, saving someone else the trouble of having to give me a ride back. This was a great review video. My only suggestion is a little more Elizabeth. 🙂

So I looked at their website and is it correct that if the front hard tire wears out repair is by replacement in that it is both the hard tire and motor?
S2R is lighter with shorter range, so if you’re not using it for distance then S2R might be the one. I personally decided on a refurbished S2 Pro, used Honey to get another $25 off, and it’s practically brand new. Has a couple small scratches on it, but I’m very happy with my choice and it’s been fantastic for me the last 2 weeks or so that I’ve had it.

Got this for 300 refurbished, and it is amazing 10/10 would recommend

They are super handy and seem to be pretty maintenance free . Our still hasn’t thrown a code or done anything weird, it just seems to work
The seat option is great. It takes vibrations away from your arms when riding rougher terrain.

These more commuter models are super accessible to a new rider . We hadn’t considered them either but now have adopted it to daily use .
Great thing to have on a budget! Like you said, college students would definitely benefit from something like this...well at least I would have 😆

Pro! But if you’re on a budget, the basic. We like the pro because it has longer range, larger tires, and regenerative braking! We love it
