The winged statue in the temple represents Nike, Goddess of Victory.
Rosé (silver hair), in the beginning, is portraying Persephone, Goddess of Vegetation (plants, flowers) and the daughter of Zeus. One day while she was out gathering flowers, Hades, God of the Underworld, abducted her and dragged her down to the Underworld where she was forced to become his wife. The video shows her in her beautiful image, surrounded by flowers, as well as how she became, dirty and grey, staring up at the world through a hole in the Underworld. She was eventually allowed to return to the surface for part of the year, which is why we have Spring and Summer.

It is the last pre-release single from their Born Pink album. Their B sides tend to have more variety and their singles are all bangers. BlackPink is about their duality. Black harder bad ass side and Pink being their more soft and feminine beautiful side… hence BlackPink being “Pretty Savage” which is another banger from their album titled “The Album” which was their first full album. Before that they only released mini albums/singles.

It can be seen and heard as simply a hype bop for those so inclined. No problem with that. But there's more to it for those who like to delve and explore.
For a deeper dive into the symbolism in the music video and lyrics, much of it is based on Greek mythology relating to a theme about those who were once defeated coming back stronger and getting revenge. Each of the girls represents a goddess from Greek mythology.
Lisa (the one in the fur coat and red boots, who does the rapping in the bazaar scene) represents the goddess Circe, who is associated with falcons and potions. That's why you see her with a falcon at the end of the rap scene...and also an apple, presumably all potioned-up and ready to be delivered (an image that will be reprised with the black and pink apple in their Pink Venom music video Note also that Lisa holds up the apple for the line: “plain jane get hijacked” because although it looks like a plain apple, it has been hijacked to deliver a potion). The bazaar is a place where all the ingredients for her potions are available. Circe was particularly well known for turning enemies into animals, an association represented by the donkey at the beginning of the rap scene in the bazaar. (The donkey represents an enemy that she turned into a donkey.) In the winter scene, she has a falconer's glove on to maintain the association with Circe.
Jisoo (the lady in red in front of the burning umbrellas) represents the goddess Athena, sitting on the spidery remains of Arachne and throwing her red book at us (Note the spinning wheel motif on Jisoo’s headpiece, as well as the red colors and flaming destruction in the background, representing Athena’s roles as goddess of wisdom (the red book), handicrafts (chiefly weaving) and war). The flaming destruction behind her represents that she is a goddess of war.
Rosé, the one coming out of the ground, surrounded by flowers near the beginning, represents Persephone and the seasonal changes associated with her are depicted in the summer and winter scenes. Persephone was forced into a marriage with the god of the underworld, but has enough power to escape into the world above each year...bringing spring and summer. The world goes back to winter when Persephone has to go back to the underworld.
Jennie (the first to sing...in the scene that appears to be inside a temple underwater) represents the goddess Hera, hanging out in an underwater lair of Poseidon (her brother). Hera, according to myth, is known for her jealous and vengeful nature in dealing with any who offended her...a theme that is reflected in the "How You Like That" lyrics. (This association also matches the fact that Jennie, in real life, is also the celebrity ambassador for Hera -- the big Korean cosmetics company.)
When all of the girls take turns standing in front of the black wings, they represent winged victory (associated with Nike). The horses represent the Trojan Horses and Blackpink coming out of them to conquer the world.
