Rory McIlroy on Saudi Arabia's involvement in sport

Rory McIlroy has said that he has resigned himself to the fact that Saudi Arabia will be involved in top level sport following the merger between the PGA Tour, DP World Tour & LIV Golf.

@James Anthony no James, i wasn't referring to their exports. I was referring to their sport washing to cover human rights issues. There was a tournament there just before Xmas called the world cup, the Bbc may have had an expose on what I am referring to...
Not a single LIV Golfer has ever said that they HATE any PGA Tour player, never, ever! Why does Rory feel he has to make hateful comments? Does he never learn? He needs to accept that the PIF is now the largest investor in the new merged entity. He should direct his anger and frustration to those who made the decisions, not LIV Golfers who simply made a commercial choice. Now Rory has to make the same choice with the same money, will he also hate himself?

More sports clubs need to be made and the only way is for foreign investors to buy the club and look deeply into how the sport goes. Then they can go build more clubs in their home nation for millions of people to get involved in the game.
You suggest create more clubs so countries with atrocious human rights can buy them to use those clubs to try and clean their dirty oil blood money.
How about those countries focus on their own shitty leagues rather than tarnishing our reputation and stop bribing others to get what they want like bribing FIFA for the world cup.

I think you are talking about the story years ago when he got a tax write off for his private jet which was all legal but a loophole for the rich. not a great look but who isn't going to do what your account tells you to do to avoid paying tax. you are a hypocrite if you say you would not. this was 10 years ago, so a bit strange to call him a hypocrite when back then he was not campaigning for any issues.
