To anyone wondering what Nizi project is all about: According to JYP Nizi Project means “various people carrying different colours like a rainbow will come together as one group and shine a beautiful light". In season 1, he was auditioning girls looking for good potential. After the auditions, they are given a dance evaluation, vocal evaluation and star quality evaluation. They can get one cube for each and collecting all three is their original goal. There is also stage evolution where they can get all three cubes if I remember correctly. ( I edited this as I didn't explain properly before) Out of all the girls here, 14 of them were supposed to be chosen to go and train in Korea however one left the show and returned back to her university(Suzu). The girls who were selected will be showing us their progress after 6-7 months trainee period. That is where the real competition starts as the selected girls are supposed to debut in the new girl group somewhere around November 2020. ( I edited this out as I forgot to mention Suzu was chosen but left the program) This show was planned to start airing somewhere around October but it was likely moved due to PRODUCE controversy. The reason why some girls got more screen time than the others is because( At least I believe so) the producer already knows the chosen girls and they are likely trying to build their fanbase for the upcoming season which is supposed to start airing on April 24th. * JYP learned Japanese specifically for the purpose of this project. **Mako, Miihi, Rima && Yuna already have trainee experience in JYP hence the reason why they seem a bit better than the other girls. ***Maya is former YG trainee. ****Momo and Sana WILL appear in last episode of season 1 :) *****I made a playlist with full English episodes on my yt channel. Hina really deserved an x-factor cube! She was AMAZING!! I could not stop laughing and smiling throughout her showcase and a lot of the others I just sat through with a straight face. She really deserved one JYP... I'm disappointed that you didn't give her one -_-
Im Japanese so I can read Japanese comments and a lot of people are talking about Hina's performance, but not in a good way. They're all saying how they see that Hina's a hard worker, but the performance got them second embarrassment, and she seems like a teacher's pet and trying to get him to like her(and how JYP had a huge awkward, fake smile). Not a single comment said that Hina should have gotten a cube(unlike the English comments). We have to understand that this is in Asia, and people there have different standards. Star quality meant that the performance should be making the viewers like that person more, which clearly none of the Japanese(main audience) viewers did. I think JYP has the same outlook as them, which is why he didn't give her a cube. But if she performed in a more outgoing country/show, she definitely would have gotten a cube.

If the Japanese get secondhand embarrassment from this and called her a teacher’s pet, then they don’t know what a teacher’s pet is (if she was a “teacher’s pet” she would have gotten all of the cubes no matter what because she would just kiss his ass, but she doesn’t, so she’s not). I can’t really understand how they got secondhand embarrassment from this.. what was embarrassing about it? I’m really curious of that one. I’m not trying to hate on the Japanese, but it really doesn’t seem fair that she didn’t get one when the rest were really mediocre and not fun at all. No hate towards Mako or anything, but JYP definately has a soft spot for her Edit: let me just clarify I'm not hating on Mako, she is incredibly talented and she deserves every good thing that comes her way.
She is really talented be it jyp trainee or not. Of course being trainee must have an impact on her, but we cant deny the fact that she has what it takes to be an idol.
It's show JYP biased to her (just like to Yuna).. Because it's clear compare to other JYPE trainee (Miihi & Rima), Mako & Yuna is lack Star Quality in this show.. Mako & Yuna is hava a good talent in Singing & Dancing., but for Star Quality, they really lack Star Quality to attract other people to stan/idolize to them..

It's basically to make other people whom watch this show feell pity to her & can connect to her emotionally, eventough she lack Star Quality.. I wonder why people r new to dis. For the other episodes NOBODY was confused what dis was. When I look at the comment from ep. 8-1 and this one alot of people dosent know what dis is. Im suprised. I aint trying to say anything negative but I really get frustrated when people r new even tho its the latest episode. No hate towards Mako or anything, but JYP definately has a soft spot for her
Edit: let me just clarify I'm not hating on Mako, she is incredibly talented and she deserves every good thing that comes her way.
She is really talented be it jyp trainee or not. Of course being trainee must have an impact on her, but we cant deny the fact that she has what it takes to be an idol.

It's show JYP biased to her (just like to Yuna)..
Because it's clear compare to other JYPE trainee (Miihi & Rima), Mako & Yuna is lack Star Quality in this show..
Mako & Yuna is hava a good talent in Singing & Dancing., but for Star Quality, they really lack Star Quality to attract other people to stan/idolize to them..

@@lamyantong8987 that's why JYP not want to show Yuna performance in Star quality test, because he knew she's bad on it., that's the way JYP & his company protect her so other people can't see Yuna lack Star Quality..
For Mako situation., it's clear she doesn't have Star Quality but compare to Yuna, JYP try to protect her with using diffrent approach which show "Mako cry moment" & always edit "with using Mako smile when other performance".. It's basically to make other people whom watch this show feell pity to her & can connect to her emotionally, eventough she lack Star Quality..
That's why i said JYP really favoured Mako & Yuna in this Nizi show., so company credibilty not become bad, because if longtimr trainee like Mako & Yuna not talented or not have " Star Quality" its basically mean JYPE will become incompetent for train an Artist/Idol..

キューブ貰えた・貰えない関係なく、性格いい子や面白い子はいっぱいいるんだなぁ。ドルオタではないから全員追っかけは無理だけど、きっとみんな自分が1番実力の発揮できる何処かを見つけて、また会えたらいいなぁと思う。
I wonder why people r new to dis. For the other episodes NOBODY was confused what dis was. When I look at the comment from ep. 8-1 and this one alot of people dosent know what dis is. Im suprised. I aint trying to say anything negative but I really get frustrated when people r new even tho its the latest episode. Just friken go back to the beginning so you dont need to ask questions what is this about. Lol so many people relates to this comment.
