In the real squid game, the platforms took a few seconds to register, which was a major flaw, just like what happened in Mr.beast's version. if the tv show with practically unlimited budget couldn't get it right, its unfair to mrbeast to have to do that
It's nice to know that they took extra precautions for the contestants' safety, especially the glass bridge. And putting the bitter substance under the balgona candies was a pretty sneaky yet understand move. If everyone decided to lick theirs n succeeded, there won't be much tension to the game n even more time to thin out the fewer finalists As for the winner of the musical chairs, I'd say it was a pretty big brain move n not cheating. Like you said, he had a good strategy within the rules of the game n it paid off. I do wish we saw the VIP lounge though. That would've been fun to watch but oh well

I mean, if it was then couldn’t it be easily rigged too? I assume it was a path, unless in was weight controlled.
I don’t think the bridge is controlled by hand, i think there is a path, however there’s a delay in the hydraulics due to safety reason, imagine when you jump in a weird style, then immediately fall with weird position, it might hurt somebody. The staff is only to tell you when to move again, they should know how many seconds the delay is and instructed you when you can jump again for the game and also for safety because when you start to jump and the glass open, there is only 2 probability, you made it to the next glass or you halfway falling and may hit something on the way down.

Second, half way through, they changed the rules to be in their favor so they could win. A guard was called over for the situation, but because it was so late in the game, there was nothing they could do about it
