It will damage coating on your iron box bottom plate. So the heat will not distribute evenly across the plate to clothes.

Absolutely but already there was a strain bcoz of that whenever I switched ON it will be either sticky or not ironing properly. As it was very old strain i used salt . Atleast I can use it for sometime. ( I have mentioned in the video as well) .

Simple and best method is simply applying paracetamol tablet with heating . Efficient method

Hi Maam, great and superb cleaning iron box tip with salt. But we have to be careful as the iron box is hot while cleaning. Can we use the same method to clean taps and kitchen sink also?👌🏻👍🏼🙏🏻
