I actually fractured my pinky finger at the base of my proximal phalanx. It healed with a malunion as well as a hyper extension and rotation. It doesn’t really affect my day today, a little stiffness in my PIP joint, but I’m also a guitar player and it really annoys me because of the way it sits up higher. I actually had a pre-authorization that would’ve fully cover the surgery, but mostly every single surgeon I went to told me it is a major risk to do it. I still wish I could take the chance, but they would have to completely saw the bone and realign it with pins. Who knows what other kind of damage they could do.
sir I have met with an accident and my little finger(middle phalanges) was broken and doctor treated me with a splint.
sir after healing ,the healed bone gains normal bone strength and is there any chance to break while punching after healing?
you don’t want to miss this
Still can’t make a full fist. Broke my distal phalanx on my index finger almost a year ago smh
how is it now. i also cant make a full fist after 6 weeks after dip dislocation of middle finger
@@YBCannonz did you have a surgery for the fracture? and after that splint and then therapy? how did it improve over time and with what measures? 90% sounds good. Is this not a fist with just a small hole? I am really depressed right now because this happened to me. just one moment not paid attention and the accident happened. i try to get the best possible result.
Is physical therapy necessary once they pull out the pin does it honestly help in the long run or not so much
