So this isn't an official excursion of any sorts, we just went off and did our own thing. We took a taxi from the cruise port to "Luna's Playa Bar." We chose that spot specifically because it has good access to some of the only good snorkeling spots in Mahahual. It's not a flashy spot, but it was cozy & drinks/service were great. It's out of the way too, so less likely to be busy. If you do go off on your own, just get back to port well before gangway up (about an hour to an hour and a half should be good).
We thought so too :/ unfortunately, yeah it was overcast and just a bit windy so visibility wasn't what great. Our next day in Cozumel was still a bit overcast but much better visibility.
Camera work is amazing!!! Seeing the water at first I wasn’t sure how much you guys would see, looks like you saw more here than I expected. Great video as always, can’t wait for the next one we were literally ready to keep watching 😊

I thought the water would be more blue. Maybe cause of the weather?
