I have suuuuuch a strong nostalgic attachment to Shadow, as an edgy kid it caught my attention and.... believe it ornot got me into the Sonic series. With a lot of knowledge and knowing the holes it opened up in lore exist, I get why people feel the ways they do about the game. And I mean, I haven't tried playing it in a really long time so I can't say I can fairly judge the gameplay but I had a blast with it as a kid, so much so that I also got Heroes and the Mega Collection Plus. I definitely wanna check out Reload though.
Not without some heavy AR or Gecko code modification. Theoretically you could have a code that gets rid of the P1 screen for P2, and vise versa. But since split screen is baked into the game code, it'd be extremely difficult.
