It's like in the newer versions of Let The Flames Begin there is 20x more energy but the old ones still make me get chills down my spine when I watch it.
I swear every time I come and watch this again I think "this is a fucking masterpiece". Not many bands can mix two of their songs so well and perform it with so much passion. A work of art, will forever be my favorite performance by Paramore.
I love how Let the Flames Begin has morphed from one of the less exciting songs in Paramore's music catalogue into an absolute spectacle that people want to hear live more than any other song. That's true artistry.
Let the flames begin has always been my favorite song they did live. I was kinda disappointed when they only did Part II the first time I saw them live, even though I love that song too. Then I saw them for a second time and they did them back to back and flipped my shit. It's so powerful live even if you're not religious. My body just experiences this euphoria when I hear this.
Could just be my current state but, I feel like this could be the most powerful, live, female performances I've ever seen. At the least, it would have been amazing to have been there.
Ghost Love Score- Nightwish live at Wacken 2013. Thank me later. P.S. I love Paramore and half of the views of this video are probably mine, but damn the most powerful female performance is another one xD
I mean constantly, every other word. There are bands and singers who cuss nonstop, drink, smoke and write about stuff like sex. Paramore has never done that. Except cuss here and there. But everyone does.
they wouldn't be able to rock it now tbh. i hope they do a 10 year anniversary thing for bne but i know that there will likely never be a reunion of all the og members for that.
just some random guy they’d rock the shit out of Reading right now, they’re way happier with what they’re doing so it also means that they put they heart out in their performances. Have you seen the Oh Father performance in the most recent parahoy? it was awesome
If you watch this whole concert, which I do repeatedly, you'll notice that the camera work gets more and more cinematic and these two songs are shot like a documentary. It's actually beautifully done and matches the gravity of the songs perfectly. The final shot couldn't have been choreographed, directed and lighted better. Even Hayley's hair cooperates cinematically.
@jaden lemus. No, it really isnt. All he does is sing about sex and drugs and most of the time he doesn't even sing, he mumbles. If you like it.. It's fine but for me, it's useless.
Also, real music has a meaning. It's supposed to send a message. Real music is meant to let you know you're not alone. Not to be flexing and talking about how much girls you have or that all you wear is gucci. It's stupid.
u know for a fact that when she is kneeling and Zack and Taylor r just killing that she is praying and thanking God for everything that she and her brothers have come trough!! I live this band and can never get enough them!!!
i can watch this like a million times and still feel the same passion while my eyes are full of tears, wishing i could ever see them play this or future, and imagining how it would feel, losing our shit together, them on stage, me in public, but i guess i'm already feeling it just by watching this through my computer and i guess i should be happy for even having this kind of opportunity, it should be enough

Most amazing live performance ever! The energy is unreal. I would give my left arm to have been there in person. Hands down one of my favorite bands of all time.
i always cry when i see these performances, are two awesome songs, it's just amazing and so energical, taking my entire soul and brings me peace. hope one day live that feel in real life
Real christians, real music and real passion. They love what they do and the fact that they don't do it for fame and money means that they will stick with it. These are people you should look up to. Look how much energy is in Taylor, Jeremy and hayley and even the touring drummer and Justin york. They are absolutely incredible I couldn't even imagine what this would be like live, this would be my dream to see. 😍🙏
Though they’re not really Christians anymore lol. They all grew up and kindof started their band alongside Christianity. Nowadays and even when this performance took place they’re all in separate plains of faith. Hayley has made specific comments on this before. Nowadays, they aren’t christian.
this whole performance feels so nostalgic, the lighting, the passion, the drumming, hayley's voice, the silence, the darkness, the energy it's so hypnotizing
Father God works in the most beautiful ways. Paramore is surely a gift. This is our anthem right now, we are in the times Daniel 9:27, read it; Let the flames begin. Let Your glory and mercy shine 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥⚔️
Wagner Nogueira I agree but she still is capable of hitting the right notes and everything, singing at least 12 songs a day in front of thousands of people, especially when it’s songs that require strong vocals, really wears you out
this still gives me chills every time i watch it, she's just so strong and she just gives off so much powerful energy. literally that 'oh father' outro brings tears to my eyes each time because it's like it's just her moment and she really is singing it from her heart.
Honestly I can’t believe its been 4 years since I was in the crowd for this! Whats incredible is if you watch the full live performance they had technical difficulties the whole way through where the sound was only coming out of the front stage speakers. So most of us in the crowd could barely hear which is why the crowd looks dead because the music was too quiet to dance to. Everyone just stood and watched. They still managed to put on one of the most incredible performances I have ever seen. Despite the circumstances everyone was captivated. I always end up coming back to youtube to watch it again, its crazy to hear what the performance would have sounded like if everything had been working. Amazing either way!
God's glory was real in this place. Hayley's words are really from the heart, this is what an worship song should be. Saying what we real feel about He's love, that words can't even make justice. JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS FOR YOU! We are sinners, but He loved us before we even were born! Yeah, both songs reflects a much passion, intensity and involving. And you may yell into the heartless space until find this light that you always for searched it. Woah, it feels many nameless intensity, oh how I miss my youth.
Sometimes I wonder how she could even get up and remember what she was doing after the Oh Father outro. I wouldn’t be able to move or stop crying after that.
This is so beautiful. You can just feel so much passion and life in this performance.

Taylor York is such a gift.
So is Hayley and Jeremy
Well yes, I know.
They are all such amazing humans. They are all good looking and pretty. Did I use that in the right context?
Zoya Din Yes :) all of them are amazing, you know you're right.
It's like in the newer versions of Let The Flames Begin there is 20x more energy but the old ones still make me get chills down my spine when I watch it.
the lighting makes the whole performance look so surreal
I was there and it was so fucking intense like I'm an atheist but wow this touched my very soul in a very unique way and I miss them so much
+Mel Yeah man, God blessed them with a special touch for real.
maybe it was God reaching out to you
you know you can be an atheist but still believe you have a soul, right? spirituality isn't just for the religious.
(i can relate tho)
Wow! You were there?! Im so freakin jealous right now you have no ideas
Sarah Steelman or maybe it was a great performance.
I swear every time I come and watch this again I think "this is a fucking masterpiece". Not many bands can mix two of their songs so well and perform it with so much passion. A work of art, will forever be my favorite performance by Paramore.
Part II really was intended to be a sequel of Let The Flames Begin, and its amazing how they pulled it off with their recent album style
U2's performance of All I Want is You/Where the Streets Have No Name at Slane Castle is another favourite of mine. Similar vibes.
I love how Let the Flames Begin has morphed from one of the less exciting songs in Paramore's music catalogue into an absolute spectacle that people want to hear live more than any other song. That's true artistry.
Brandon Cimino because of part II
Let The Flames Begin is one of Paramore's most exciting songs, dumbass.
Let the Flames Begin has always been amazing but I get what you mean. It's a fan fave now
I got on the paramore just a few years ago but, how was Let the flames begin not a fan favorite since the beginning ??
@@alonehades100 every paramore song has slowly become a fan fave lol. Idk how it wasn't from the beginning tho
And that was the day the reading festival was blessed, literally.
this was a spiritual experience live

She had the flye and still sang like a freakin queen? Thats my Hayley right there.
Oh my god I can’t imagine performing like this with the flu.

I'd never really given paramore much thought until I seen this set at Reading. Absolutely blew me away.

but the first song is from 2007 when they were actually pretty good. not the same now
+ms2559 this performance is fairly recent and it's amazing idk what you're talking about

"Oh Father, my Jesus". Now that's what I call worship. She is PRAISING Him, like nobody's watching. I am undoooone listening to this.
Emily Wall I LOVE IT
If they cussed, and didnt praise God they would not be my fav band and Hayley my fav vocalist.
Evelyn Alvarez they do cuss
I mean constantly, every other word. There are bands and singers who cuss nonstop, drink, smoke and write about stuff like sex. Paramore has never done that. Except cuss here and there. But everyone does.
the God they worship might not be the same God you think it is. All about context.
I think that it is unquestionable the amount of passion these guys have put in this performance.
it's sad that ya'll don't realise that's underoath's legendary drummer. Aaron Gillespie, what a beast.
But some of us do realize that.
Gracia Aguilar lmao most of us know. but zac is back now sooo
gracia aguilar aaron is good but iilan Rubín is better
Didnt know his name, but I noticed that he was doing part 1's outro some heavy justice.
Love underoath but he's just alright for paramore
And the haters thought Paramore wouldn't be able to rock Reading...
