MINI MARATONA DE LEITURA NO MUSEU DA BALEIA

Portugal Aqui TV witnessed the annual Read-a-thon of the Portuguese abridged version of the classic novel Moby Dick, by Tiago Patrício, at the New Bedford Whaling Museum. Forty-eight readers took to the podium during this four-hour meaningful event. Many of the readers were Luso-Americans and had no formal schooling in Portuguese, but their love for the land of birth of their ancestors was very present and important.

Portugal Aqui TV foi testemunha da Minimaratona de leitura da versão Portuguesa abreviada da obra clássica Moby Dick, de Tiago Patrício, no Museu da Baleia de New Bedford. Quarenta e oito leitores subiram ao pódio durante este evento significativo com a duração de quatro horas. Muitos dos leitores eram descendentes de imigrantes e sem escolaridade em Português, mas o seu amor pela pátria dos seus antepassados é significante e estava muito presente.
