  • Calling Sehmat: Harinder Sikka & Sanjoy K. Roy
Harinder Sikka is currently Group Director for Strategic Business at the Piramal Group. Prior to this, he served in the Indian Navy. Since then, he has produced the film.
Sanjoy K. Roy, an entrepreneur of the arts, is Managing Director of Teamwork Arts, which produces over 25 highly acclaimed performing arts, visual arts and literary festivals across 40 cities including the world’s largest free literary gathering - the annual ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival. Roy, a National Award awardee for the film Shahjahanabad: The Twilight Years, is a founder trustee of Salaam Baalak Trust (SBT) working to provide support services for street and working children in the inner city of Delhi. In 2011 the White House presented SBT the US President’s Committee of Arts and Humanities Award for an International Organisation.
    Calling Sehmat
Calling Sehmat is Harinder Sikka’s gripping espionage novel set in 1971 and based on the real life story of a Kashmiri family. Conceived in the battle theatre, its daring and unusual plotline was inspired by the heroic patriotism of a young girl whose son, Sikka, encountered when he was reporting from behind the lines as a journalist. The book was later made into the acclaimed film Raazi, starring Alia Bhatt and directed by Meghna Gulzar. The author, a former lieutenant commander from the Indian army, is a National Award-winning film producer and currently Strategic Affairs Group Director with the Piramal Group. He speaks of the story behind the story and his journey of discovery with Sanjoy K Roy.
Presented by Patrika Game Changer Series
    THE JAIPUR LITERATURE FESTIVAL
Described as the 'greatest literary show on Earth', the Jaipur Literature Festival is a sumptuous feast of ideas.
The past decade has seen it transform into a global literary phenomenon having hosted nearly 2000 speakers and welcoming over a million book lovers from across India and the globe. Our core values remain unchanged: to serve as a democratic, non-aligned platform offering free and fair access.
Every year, the Festival brings together a diverse mix of the world's greatest writers, thinkers, humanitarians, politicians, business leaders, sports people and entertainers on one stage to champion the freedom to express and engage in thoughtful debate and dialogue.
Festival Co Directors Namita Gokhale and William Dalrymple, alongside Producer Sanjoy K Roy and Teamwork Arts, create a platform for an array of speakers to debate, discuss and present their ideas in the annual five-day programme set against the backdrop of Rajasthan's stunning cultural heritage and the Diggi Palace in the state capital Jaipur.

Some great questions and answers. The MC needs to let one question be answered before letting the audience ask another.

The compare/MC is so out of place. Can’t understand what she is saying. Why can’t we have one of our own.

Shame on Director Meghna Gulzar and her Father Gulzar who disrespecting writer, twisted the story and play well on Pak money.
