This is literally my first time hearing a Black Keys song.
For real???? If so, welcome. I just brought this up cuz a coworker asked if I had one band to recommend to him what would it be and I said easy, The Black Keys. This whole album is great, as is El Camino. Check out "Lonely Boy," "Gold On The Ceiling," "Howlin For You," "Little Black Submarines." Those are the big hits off those two albums, same time period (2011-2012). Newer stuff like "Wild Child" (2022) is still a similar sound. If you go back in time to the Thickfreakness album (2003) you get a much heavier bluesy sound. "Have Love, Will Travel," and "Hard Row" is a good place to start with that. But if you like this and you think this sound is for you, this is one of the few bands that I consider mostly "can't miss," just pick an album and go start to finish.

Memories of listening to this album in the car with my mom and her friend flood in whenever “tighten up” and “next girl” start playing. So glad a few people are starting to get into the black keys, it’s like my childhood is being discovered
