I remember when I was 15 and heard Jimmy's Fantasy on NewRock 90, the local college radio station. The next time my buddies and I rode our BMX bikes from out in the sticks into the city to hang out, I bought Phashsifter on cd at the cool record joint. A couple months later, I copied it on to a cassette tape to listen to while first driving. This song in particular, I would crank up as loud as possible while borrowing my mom's bright red 1989 Dodge Shadow ES. Great times with great music.
Absolutely love you guys! Electrifying music, fun lyrics, and awesome performances! Lady in the Front Row is one of my favorite Redd Kross hits. I drove Phaseshifter in the ground from playing it so much... Great album!
Think Oasis heard this and thought, hey I think we should rip it off? And then, after the brothers beat the hell out of each other, they did just that...the end and Selena and son...long live the RK army
@PieceofMindmusic I disagree with you. This has everything to do with new wave as a chicken has to do with a meteor hitting earth at the end of this sentence. It's more hardcore, power pop and punk. They dont really resemble the Beatles either, in my opinion.

These guys also sound like Weezer before there was even Weezer with their punky brand of power pop, minus the nerdiness.
@crashsite000 the Beatles would never have been this cool
oasis up in the sky.. which came first?
+Manning Hind This actually came first.
this
I think the Beatles came first
obvisouly this. i love noel but is there anything he doesnt rip off lol
KLIRA bass!
the Beatles/Hollies/Byrds/whatever created this sound before Red Kross and Oasis
Something the McDonald brothers would be the first to tell you.
Redd Kross are basically what you get when you blend the Beatles, Cheap Trick and Kiss. I mean that as a compliment, by the way.
@SimMaster No shit, Sherlock
Beatles/Hollies/Byrds didn’t listen to Sex Pistols when they were kids...
