Actually he was there at the first hole, you just had to pause at the right time to see him. When they panned the camera from right to left, you get a brief glimpse.

Really fun to watch. You all did a great job on this vlog. I could almost feel the wind with the way those discs were bouncing on every shot.
Listening to that disc value conversation towards the end really makes me wish that I was more into "disc golf culture" the first 10 years I played. I played constantly, but was I just started really following the tour coverage over the last year or two. I didn't even go watch when everybody was in town back in 2013... by the same token, I it also makes me wish I learned about Disc Golf long before I did.
I say all that to say that I am so happy that the sport is really taking off!

It’s cool to watch this older video and see Paul talking about his courses in Lynchburg/Bedford and the desire to host major tournaments. Looks like it’s all coming to fruition in 2024.
As for the collector discs I think it was the crystal Rocs that where released as part of the other defunct pro tour. They sold for 400-500 each.

I think the first run Discamnia stuff (PD2's and CD's) may be in that era. [and are expensive ]. But I think the McPro Destroyer is the first true "collector disc"
Mcpro avair destroyer is without a doubt the most sought after disc and demands the highest value. But those anthon destroyers are up there too...
SD/S destroyer, or the 2 line 3 line Avery destroyers.

I don’t eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches but if I did I would do peanut butter first. It would be okay to get excess peanut butter in the jelly but not good to get excess jelly in the peanut butter jar.
