Kevin Mack was a great running back for the Cleveland Browns. Ernest Byner was also great back.Great teams in the 80's. The Drive and the Fumble cost them two trips to the Super bowl 😢
Absolutely. It’s amazing some of those teams didn’t win it all!
The Drive for sure-thought we were in after Denver misplayed kicxkoff after Brennan's go ahead TD-but the Fumble did not definitely cost trip to SB-if Byner had scored would only have tied score at 38-Browns ciould have lost on last minute score (there was still 1:12 left) or in OT-falling behind 21-3 in 1st half was not good at all-re the Drive I hated the soft D (AKA prevent D) the Browns played-too many wide open receivers including RB's
@@BurningRiverSportscast in 1986 if had made SB would have run into that great Bears D-we could have won but would have been underdogs-but then again we were 10 point dogs in 1964 when beat Unitas led Colts 27-0-I was at that game as well as next year's title game against GB at Lambeau-got 2 tickets on 50 for $12.50 each-was Jim Brown's last game
