@gamerultimate5132 2:17 turrets can shoot both exe and minions. It just uses 2% per enemy in the ring and in sight. Yes I know this, I've done my testing. I've also written a whole eggman guide that someone covered here on TH-cam. Ultimate Eggman 1.2 guide, on a Google doc. Highly recommend looking at it.
Also if the exe destroys the turret eggman will gain his turrets back like if I placed 1 and I have 4 if exe destroys or minion destroys I'll have 5 turrets (max number or turrets)
I honestly like the idea of how egg man was done in 1.2, but I think instead of turrets it should be badnicks and he can switch the type he uses, for example maybe a drill bot type as a trap that pushes exe, or the motobugs to run into the exe to hit him, they can definitely be more types of badnicks but this is just an idea

honestly my friend is an eggman main even after the turret change, and me and him both think he should get shock back. i personally believe to add shock onto what he already has, but give it a longer cooldown, as it should be SOLELY a last ditch effort to get away, and it’d be in line with how Eggman usually has some sort of escape plan in case his plans do fail.
2:11 you don’t even know the half of it Because heres the thing; if a minion decides that it wants to invalidate your ENTIRE character, all it has to do is chase you around. If you stop to try and place a new turret or repair it, the minion is right behind you ready to punish you for not running. You have to hope any minion on the field isn’t smart enough to think about doing that, or have a bodyguard to protect you 😭

Ideas for egg I came up with. Typed this on a previous video so I’m just copying and pasting here. Buff 1: Turrets health should not be based on their ammo. I’ve seen minions hit a turret and when they do the ammo goes down, meaning the ammo is also the turrets health. Give turrets their own set of health. Buff 2 : Eggman should have different gadgets to enhance his turrets. Eggman is a mastermind and great with machines, I mean he literally built metal Sonic and his grandfather made Shadow, two strong characters in the franchise. So you think we would have tricks up his sleeve to make his turrets stronger. Item 1,Energizer : If eggman is standing near a turret, he can insert a rechargeable battery inside of the turret. This will play a special animation, and requires either tails or metal to help him with it. One inserted, said turret will become buffed, glowing a small gold. If an exe is in the turrets range, it will shoot at a much faster pace and slow him down at the same pace all 5 turrets would. The exe can destroy the turret but it will take two hits instead of one (three hits for minions) has a 28 sec cooldown Item 2, Explosive: Eggman can strap an explosive to one of his turrets. If any exe tries to destroy this turret it will have a medium sized explosion and push the exe for 3 sec. If the exe collides with any object wile being pushed back, he will be knocked down for 2 sec. 18 sec cooldown. Item 3, Enhancer: Eggman can choose to enhance one of his turrets. This will play a new animation with eggman using a hammer instead of his hands, (will need to build the new enhanced turret like u would an og one). Once finished the turret will turn silver and become a little bigger. If any exe comes in range with this turret it will shoot slower but if lands 5 shots successfully, will stun the exe for 3 sec. 35 sec cooldown. Buff 3: Make the un-enhanced turrets be able to stun exe for 2 sec if lands 15 shots successfully, there will be a counter on the exe’s head and it will start to go back down after 5 sec. This would make the turrets more useful as not only would he be slowed but has a chance to be stunned if eggman’s teammates can keep the exe in that area for a long time. New Idea: Metal sonic should have more interactions with eggman, since he is literally his son. This would also make metal more interesting and not just be the sacrifice all the time. Idea 1: Metal sonic at the start of the round should start sitting on the ground with him being powered down. Whoever is playing metal will get a special loading screen exclusive to him. There will be a bar on the player’s screen showing metal’s loading process. This will take 10 sec, and any exe who tries to camp will be knocked back good distance when metal powers on. This would make Metal more interesting character and it also makes sense bc he’s a robot. If there is an eggman on the team, the person playing metal will be a little bit high in the sky. The person using eggman can choose to pull out their device and choose where the carrier should drop off metal. Metal won’t be super high in the sky, but like abt the height tails glide can go, the carrier will drop metal at when it gets to a specific ground level. This would make the father and son duo more interactive with each other, Idea 2: When metal self destructs, he can still become a minion, but he will look a lot more beat up, and move slower. Like.. this man is literally EXPLODING himself if makes sense for him to be slower and beat up. Idea 3: This relates back to idea 1 for metal but tails can help metal load faster if he either spawns right next to him, or finds him before he finishes manually. The person playing tails will have use one of their batteries to charge metal up instantly. This battery will power whoever is playing metal on instantly and metals eyes will be gold instead of green for 15 sec. During this time metal will have a speed boost and a buff to his abilities, push stunning him for a sec longer when it ends, and grapple giving STRIKING the exe, bringing metal to him and stunning him for 2 sec. Tails will have 3 batteries, per game, and each one will have to go through an animation. If there is an eggman on the team, tails will get 3 more batteries thst gsme, having a total of 6. The person playing tails can choose to give some of their batteries to eggman. Each battery will restore metals health by 10. Batteries have a 12 sec cooldown. After the battery buff ends for the metal player, they will suffer fatigue for 5 sec, during which they can’t move. If the exe hits them during this state, they won’t take as much damage to Make it fair. Metal can still be given shields during the fatigued period and his teammates can also protect him during it, Stuff like this would make the game more interesting imo, but can also create new tech and strategies. Also fix eggman’s grab why do his legs just sink in the ground? Make it like the egg grab from 1.1 I’m dead after typing all this… send help…

I'm a Kolossos main and istg, if I end up getting Egghead, I seriously don't go after them because I feel bad for them using a character that was done dirty. But if that player was or is being toxic, I'm grabbing them and sending them to Brazil.

This would be revolutionary for eggman as it opens plenty of playstyles for the fat man For example: if eggman were to use the explosive strapped turrets, you'd basically have a land mine field of which sonic or any of the minions would have trouble reaching any survivors without getting pushed back (and possibly get stunned)
1:03 it's a risky move but here's a tip: if you're thinking on using jetpack during a chase, the MOMENT you press jetpack immediately release it (recommend using it to get on to high ground)
I feel like a simple solution is to make the turrets shock/stun EXE when he breaks them, giving more incentive for the exe to not just insta kill the turret and move on with his day and make them a meaningful area denial like they’re supposed to be
One of my suggestions could be a fake out turret, where its a turret but it is much weaker but when the exe attacks it it lets out a shock stunning the exe for atleast 2-3 seconds, i am a eggman main but its really hard to solo with him.
It's sad that the game is on a hiatus so they cant update the characters but I have some ideas ngl for him -shock and turrets and jetpack for abilities -big exe takes 2 hits to destroy the turrets and for smol it takes 3 hits to destroy one(including minions) -jetpack charges MUCH faster And uh that's all
In my opinion, I think Eggman should get his shock back but *keep the turrets* I feel like his shock would be more of a defense mechanism rather than something to just always use on exe, like if he's running from exe after placing a turret or if trying to fix a turret then he can use his shock to stun exe so he'll have some time to run for a bit and possibly get saved by other survivors instead, shock only lasted about a second or 2 anyway so it wasn't even that much of a stun another idea is something my friend suggested, which is Eggman should be able to control one of his turrets if he's next to it and instead of shooting regular bullets that slow exe he can instead charge up the turret he's on and use it to stun exe from a distance like Tails, prob wouldn't last as long but it'd make him more helpful
If eggman would get shock back, I think there should be some sort of rework, like making it similar to Sally’s EMP, or keep it the same as eggman from 1.2 alpha, only tweaked like giving it startup s or not making it blockable. Keeping the stun time 2 seconds would balance him out.
Here's what to do to make eggman good. Give him shock back, make it able to go through block and minions without going away, make the stun 2.5, and then lastly, keep the rest of his kit. Some other things with shock could be keep the 2 sec stun and keep it block able, but just make it's CD 15 sec
Imo, they could keep the turrets and current jetpack feature AND add shock, but instead of it being AoE, it can be a shield like Knuckles’ Block where if exe hits him, they get stunned. This’ll give Eggman more time to charge his jetpack for horizontal movement to get to teammates or something and not just be a braindead stun
Eggman’s jetpack is honestly fine being controlled differently. His turrents are somewhat decent… but there should be a nerf to the lunge and spindash when in contact. They’re really bad for the movement. And he needs the shock. With a nerf of the stun (2.5 seconds is better than 2), make it faster to land and he’ll be able to run away. But I don’t get why Outlaik made him worse since his hitbox is large.
As someone who used to main Robotnick, I really liked this video. His changes in each game were interesting, to say the least. In 1.0, he was op. In 1.1, he was well balanced. In the 1.2 alpha, he was pointless and bad, do to the mutiple nerfs that were givin to jetpack-boost and shock.(Yes, he was nerfed into the floor in both the 1.2 alpha and 0.75.) In the 1.2 full release, he has a role, but he feels underpowered, especially since the two other characters that have an effect on speed are just better. I would like to give my input on Robotnick though, if thats ok with you. I feel like bringing back shock would make him a combination of Blaze and Sally, except he would be worse than both. Instead, he should be givin a bunch of different abilities that have a niche, but useful role to help out the team. His whole thing is having tricks up his sleeves and having backup plans for his backup plans, so it makes sense for him to be like that in this game. He should still keep the sentries, but should also gain more abilities to debuff Sonic, buff him teammates, and make moving the sentries easier. The fact that a minion can stand on a sentry and force Robotnick to take damage while trying to pick the thing up makes him really bad.
I agree with you, maybe the turrets could slow him more, or maybe when an exe destroys them, they would get a debuff similiar to Sally's emp for like a second, or just make his jetpack startup spammable like Blaze's heatwave, if you know what i mean.
heres what I wanna suggest to eggman to atleast have some defense he Carries a turret in his hand if he picks it up with E or Pick up button on mobile This also shoots exe while in your hand can also be good since it only gets destroyed if egg is hit or downed if it runs out u have to repair again and put it down
The shock was super clutch back in 1.0. But unfortunately, it got nerfed so freaking hard and got replaced, but I think it was for the good. I would like instead of the turrets a remote control Badnick that you can drive into the exe and self destruct. I still love the idea of the turrets tho.
Idk what to say but for some reason the 1.2 eggman jetpack charge up in ur vid was pretty slow like I didn’t remember it to be that slow. Maybe be able to place 6 turrets? Or do the great idea abt the badnicks like that guy mentioned up here I think
Heres a quick fix to jetpack, reply if u have a better idea if u want: So eggmans jetpack can work a bit like shadows dash from previous versions. When on the ground it will act like dash somewhat making you fly forward no charge up needed. But when ur mid air from jumping or falling, it changes to the jetpack we see in 1.2 (full version) the one that is used when u dont charge it up. Also it gives you i frames if you use the dash.
After watching this video, I've come up with reasons why this is just a bad idea to bring shock back. 1: Another stunner really isn't needed. 2. Support in this game already don't have a lot of variety, and making offense support just seems counterintuitive since you can't support and use stuns at the same time. 3. Adding turrets and shock would be a NIGHTMARE to deal with as Sonic, and if your team is half decent you basically win for free. 4. You are underselling the distance jetpack gives. It's a preemptive move, and shouldn't be used when Sonic is already near. 5. You state that Eggy falters if he can't get to his team in time. But if you were away from your team in the first place, something has gone horribly wrong. And if the Sonic forced you away, then they should be rewarded for forcing suboptimal play. 6. EMP serves a very similar function to shock when you compare them. 7. Shock is a nightmare to balance in of itself. It's either too good, or just mid. 8. Turrets also tend to waste more time for the exe than shock normally does. 9. Shock IS braindead. You get the effect of a Sally shield (no speed boost I know, but lets be real here) and you can stun Sonic, or block off tighter enclosed areas. Worst comes to worst for the Eggman player, Sonic is forced to wait out attacking you for 4 seconds. And if that's the worst outcome, that's bad game design. 10: Kind of an opinion sure, but shock is boring, and stunning should take at least SOME skill. Think about it. Arm cannon, hammer throw, orb, and grapple all take some skill to land in aiming. Punch, hammer attack and spin, EMP, homing attack, boost, flashbang, push, fire tornado, and heatwave all require you to risk being damaged. And remote bomb takes setup. Shock? None of them, and you may argue that you must risk getting hurt, but if you miss shock, you still stop sonic for 4 seconds bare minimum. So that's all my problems with shock coming back. I'm sure there is more, but I don't want this comment to go forever.
shock should be added back with a few changes, like for one, it should be a simple push back type stun similarly to how sonic jumps back when he gets shocked in the sonic games, with a longer cooldown since his turrets and jetpack can do really good

tbh i think cream should get her normal heal back but slighly buffed just keeping the slow ticks of healing, eggman wasn't the only one screwed over by the update cream isn't necessary anymore since overheal is kinda useless since when you overheal someone (knucks or amy or whatever stunner) they have their attacks on Cd so the overheal runs out eventually and also Simply Kolossos screws over overheal lol. As for eggman i think it would be cool moving the turrets to some sort of minion of eggman like a badnik, or just make turrents stun after x shots
Tails was also screwed over in the update(at least to me). The extra stun time is not worth the cannon delay. They massacred my boi :( I do agree with you on Cream's heal, tho. Overheal only seems to be useful for stalling time when a teammate's been grabbed. I really want the 1.2 Alpha back in some shape or form...
tbh, Tails is in something like canon or even Sonic. exe Spirits of hell can both fly a lot for a long time with a very vertical thing, but tails in TD feel a lot more weighty and can't even go up something canon tails would easily go over. I know balance stuff is complicated, but come on, tail's glide barely gives any speed, and it's easy to counter (as exe, just follow him while being below him, and tails will get tired very fast, bruh). As for his stun, it really is not worth the delay, especially since you can miss and have to wait another half a minute to even use your stun (Knucks and Amy have the same issue). On another topic, Amy doesn't get inv frames when using hammer spin and can get hit due to the 'lovely' hitbox of the game. But yeah, a lot of characters were made a lot weaker than Exe by nerfing them harshly instead of buffing Exe. (Blaze has a lot of funky hitboxes, by the way.)
@@Yuuk1_09 Yeah, Tails as a whole needs a buff at this point. I'm in denial about my favorite character being ruined so I still main him, but it's super hard. Doesn't help that Exes like to immediately go after Tails. Now with the fly nerf, I can't get up onto most platforms. Gotta love those wonky hitboxes, tho. I've hit Blaze and Amy before when they were still in the middle of attacking (Hammer Spin and Fire Tornado are wonky asf). I get why Outlaik is on hiatus at the moment but I do hope he gets around to fixing these issues eventually. The two new characters are not worth the nerfs to most of the other characters.
blaze's flame punch is also very wonky in hitbox sometimes it hits sometimes it doesn't (Also amy's hammer spin needs a buff to its stun time). i get why outlaik is in hiatus too but i am pretty sure sega just doesn't want others profiting from their franchise so its probably just the Donations that kinda screwed up outlaik since TD did show he was getting donated a Lot of robux. but i hope he does return faster since the game is still quite the mess on the bugs. also Silver is just slighly better tails who can actually escape since he has a speed boost unlike tails who's speed is capped in 'Fly' at the 'small cost' of silver having to aim a Non instant projectile which has splash damage (basically not much of a change to how tails played but with assistance due to splash damage if you just hit close enough)
@@Yuuk1_09 Blaze is almost RNG because of her hitboxes, but she is fun if everything works properly. I also remember seeing that someone donated around 40,000 robux on the leaderboard and that's just one of many, many people who have done the same. If Outlaik used the Devx feature, he could make a lot of money out of the game and of course it could get him in legal trouble with Sega. I'm just really hoping future bug fixes will improve the game because it's still fun, just incredibly flawed in it's current state. Far from a finished game. Also, it's funny that you mention Silver because I've actually started to play as Silver a lot, since he has a more reliable ranged attack. The splash is super helpful against Minions and the Exe when they're grouped up together and helps new players with hitting the Exe. I'm still partial to Tails as a character, lol.
i mean some characters have more than 2 abilities so i wouldn't see why eggman should js have 2 we could have turrets and shock + jetpack but a bit tweaked
i think eggman could get back shock, just a bit weaker I think it could work like sallys emp, but the slowdown comes after a small stun, about the amount of after metals push, then a slightly short slowdown. Cooldown could be about slightly shorter than knuckles punch.
Eggman should have a passive that is like in the games to make him easier to play (not absurd though) Like he gets (a bit) faster when exe is near him.
This is actually my experience playing eggman. Minions basically to never ever use turrets. Turrets doesn't make the exe slower than you. 💀 Jetpack is genuinely pretty during when you fall or use jump pad, too bad you preplanned this set up so you wouldn't die after a few seconds. Turrets can hit people above or below, just not too much. Atp, just bring shock back or just make changes with turrets

i think it would be good for eggman if he could move while using the jatpack, it would improve a lot his gameplay. Shock could be an ability for the turrets, that instead of stuning the exe it could make him really slow for 6 seconds or less, i think would make playing with him as i think a "support" better.
I want to make a S.E: TD fangame when i learn how to do it, and Eggman will have some abilities that will benefit the team, and make them be safe too, if i ever make the game, Eggman will have: Shock (F) (same as 1.1) Stun Turret (C) (idk what to call it really) Jetpack (3 uses) (pressing (E) on the ground will cause Eggman to charge for a second and go forward fast) (pressing (E) mid air will cause Eggman to use the 1.1 Jetpack) (pressing (Spacebar) mid air will cause Eggman to go up really fast) And finally Hack (Q near a specific object or place in some specific maps) (will cause some things to activate helping the team)

I feel like eggman should have a third ability that let's him immediately ride his eggmobile. if it touches exe, it breaks. it should be as fast as metal sonics push ability.
i also think shock should be added but also keep the turrets however I think that they should bring back the pre-1.2 shock were it was 2.5 seconds if that is still a problem then make the shock 1.5 second stun
Maybe another way to make turrets a bit more useful its making it do a small stun when the exe destroy it something like shadow's homming attack instead of a stun or like rouge's remote tramp that should make torrets more useful, example:imagine exe chasing you jetpack its on cooldown and you only avaliable ability its turret, you should place a turret before exe attacks you and jump(to cancel repairing moment) exe will attack the turret instead of you and he will get stuned or pushed, that should will make turrets way more USEFUL(in some cases) the actual eggman its not soo bad but still needs some balances to make him more useful and whit this turrets idea i think it make him less defendless and more helpful for the team🎩.

I Like The Shock Over The Turrets Sense I See That You Can Break Them as a EXE, and The Shock Fells Good Just to Electrocute EXE's with it! Besides The Game Only Has 4 Stunners but Now 3?! It should be brought back because now he’s just boring.. he doesn’t even do anything anymore! He’s like cream. With his shock ability he used to be the GOAT jumping down on the exe and using hi shock ability angering the exe, Because of that Eggman used to be my main until this stupid update came.
As an Eggman main, I have to disagree, Shock should not come back (at least not on Eggman). Eggman is an extreme support, what I mean by this is that he does amazing in the aspect of support but lacks self-defence. Another extreme character we can link him to is Knuckles who I deem as an extreme offence, he has the perfect set of abilities to defend himself so he can take aggro off of others, but at the same time he lacks any mobility and as such he can't reliably escape. What I'm getting at is that giving Eggman a stun is like giving Knuckles a mobility, neither of them fits the character's role and if we did give it to them it would take away their actual purpose. But the difference in why people think Knux is the best while also thinking Eggman is bad, is through the fact that the Echidna had a lot more time to be balanced (to the point of where he is almost perfect now). Meanwhile Eggman's changed role and turrets are new and haven't had much time to be worked on. A few balance changes later, I firmly believe that people will consider Eggman to be an amazing character.
I would say eggman should have his shock with the turrets but still the jetpack is not needed to nerf out really rouge and amy have more than two abilities exe has so many abilities by which he can kill the team eggman can have his charge back with jetpack and turrets the turrets releasing shocks would be better if its destroyed by any minion or exe

i think people forget that shock was basically one of the few things that actively made the game worse simply by existing it wasn't helpful for the user in 1.2, it was just annoying it wasn't fun to go against as sonic.exe, ever since you had to wait for THE longest stun time to end, or *be forced to tank a stun simply because shock existed* shock was bad, it doesn't deserve to come back
The turrets arent bad, theyre just too weak and take a whole minute to set all them up, make them have like 100 hp and repairable, inf ammo, and take 4-5 seconds to place down
1. Turrets are fine, keep them how they are. 2. 1.2 jetpack is _waaaay_ better than any other version, keep it. 3. Give him early 1.2 2 second shock. Silver has his orb, Rouge her flashbang, why doesn’t Eggman get something to get exe off of him? Plus, shocking and then using your jetpack horizontally theoretically seems good.

I honestly like the idea of how egg man was done in 1.2, but I think instead of turrets it should be badnicks and he can switch the type he uses, for example maybe a drill bot type as a trap that pushes exe, or the motobugs to run into the exe to hit him, they can definitely be more types of badnicks but this is just an idea

honestly my friend is an eggman main even after the turret change, and me and him both think he should get shock back.
i personally believe to add shock onto what he already has, but give it a longer cooldown, as it should be SOLELY a last ditch effort to get away, and it’d be in line with how Eggman usually has some sort of escape plan in case his plans do fail.

Because heres the thing; if a minion decides that it wants to invalidate your ENTIRE character, all it has to do is chase you around.
If you stop to try and place a new turret or repair it, the minion is right behind you ready to punish you for not running.
You have to hope any minion on the field isn’t smart enough to think about doing that, or have a bodyguard to protect you 😭

Ideas for egg I came up with. Typed this on a previous video so I’m just copying and pasting here. Buff 1: Turrets health should not be based on their ammo. I’ve seen minions hit a turret and when they do the ammo goes down, meaning the ammo is also the turrets health. Give turrets their own set of health.
Buff 2 : Eggman should have different gadgets to enhance his turrets. Eggman is a mastermind and great with machines, I mean he literally built metal Sonic and his grandfather made Shadow, two strong characters in the franchise. So you think we would have tricks up his sleeve to make his turrets stronger.
Item 1,Energizer : If eggman is standing near a turret, he can insert a rechargeable battery inside of the turret. This will play a special animation, and requires either tails or metal to help him with it. One inserted, said turret will become buffed, glowing a small gold. If an exe is in the turrets range, it will shoot at a much faster pace and slow him down at the same pace all 5 turrets would. The exe can destroy the turret but it will take two hits instead of one (three hits for minions) has a 28 sec cooldown
Item 2, Explosive: Eggman can strap an explosive to one of his turrets. If any exe tries to destroy this turret it will have a medium sized explosion and push the exe for 3 sec. If the exe collides with any object wile being pushed back, he will be knocked down for 2 sec.
18 sec cooldown.
Item 3, Enhancer: Eggman can choose to enhance one of his turrets. This will play a new animation with eggman using a hammer instead of his hands, (will need to build the new enhanced turret like u would an og one). Once finished the turret will turn silver and become a little bigger. If any exe comes in range with this turret it will shoot slower but if lands 5 shots successfully, will stun the exe for 3 sec. 35 sec cooldown.
Buff 3: Make the un-enhanced turrets be able to stun exe for 2 sec if lands 15 shots successfully, there will be a counter on the exe’s head and it will start to go back down after 5 sec. This would make the turrets more useful as not only would he be slowed but has a chance to be stunned if eggman’s teammates can keep the exe in that area for a long time.
New Idea: Metal sonic should have more interactions with eggman, since he is literally his son. This would also make metal more interesting and not just be the sacrifice all the time.
Idea 1: Metal sonic at the start of the round should start sitting on the ground with him being powered down. Whoever is playing metal will get a special loading screen exclusive to him. There will be a bar on the player’s screen showing metal’s loading process. This will take 10 sec, and any exe who tries to camp will be knocked back good distance when metal powers on. This would make Metal more interesting character and it also makes sense bc he’s a robot. If there is an eggman on the team, the person playing metal will be a little bit high in the sky. The person using eggman can choose to pull out their device and choose where the carrier should drop off metal. Metal won’t be super high in the sky, but like abt the height tails glide can go, the carrier will drop metal at when it gets to a specific ground level. This would make the father and son duo more interactive with each other,
Idea 2: When metal self destructs, he can still become a minion, but he will look a lot more beat up, and move slower. Like.. this man is literally EXPLODING himself if makes sense for him to be slower and beat up.
Idea 3: This relates back to idea 1 for metal but tails can help metal load faster if he either spawns right next to him, or finds him before he finishes manually. The person playing tails will have use one of their batteries to charge metal up instantly. This battery will power whoever is playing metal on instantly and metals eyes will be gold instead of green for 15 sec. During this time metal will have a speed boost and a buff to his abilities, push stunning him for a sec longer when it ends, and grapple giving STRIKING the exe, bringing metal to him and stunning him for 2 sec. Tails will have 3 batteries, per game, and each one will have to go through an animation. If there is an eggman on the team, tails will get 3 more batteries thst gsme, having a total of 6. The person playing tails can choose to give some of their batteries to eggman. Each battery will restore metals health by 10. Batteries have a 12 sec cooldown. After the battery buff ends for the metal player, they will suffer fatigue for 5 sec, during which they can’t move. If the exe hits them during this state, they won’t take as much damage to Make it fair. Metal can still be given shields during the fatigued period and his teammates can also protect him during it,
Stuff like this would make the game more interesting imo, but can also create new tech and strategies. Also fix eggman’s grab why do his legs just sink in the ground? Make it like the egg grab from 1.1

I'm a Kolossos main and istg, if I end up getting Egghead, I seriously don't go after them because I feel bad for them using a character that was done dirty. This would be revolutionary for eggman as it opens plenty of playstyles for the fat man
For example: if eggman were to use the explosive strapped turrets, you'd basically have a land mine field of which sonic or any of the minions would have trouble reaching any survivors without getting pushed back (and possibly get stunned)
1:03 it's a risky move but here's a tip: if you're thinking on using jetpack during a chase, the MOMENT you press jetpack immediately release it (recommend using it to get on to high ground)
I feel like a simple solution is to make the turrets shock/stun EXE when he breaks them, giving more incentive for the exe to not just insta kill the turret and move on with his day and make them a meaningful area denial like they’re supposed to be

One of my suggestions could be a fake out turret, where its a turret but it is much weaker but when the exe attacks it it lets out a shock stunning the exe for atleast 2-3 seconds, i am a eggman main but its really hard to solo with him.
It's sad that the game is on a hiatus so they cant update the characters but I have some ideas ngl for him
-shock and turrets and jetpack for abilities
-big exe takes 2 hits to destroy the turrets and for smol it takes 3 hits to destroy one(including minions)
-jetpack charges MUCH faster

In my opinion, I think Eggman should get his shock back but *keep the turrets* I feel like his shock would be more of a defense mechanism rather than something to just always use on exe, like if he's running from exe after placing a turret or if trying to fix a turret then he can use his shock to stun exe so he'll have some time to run for a bit and possibly get saved by other survivors instead, shock only lasted about a second or 2 anyway so it wasn't even that much of a stun
another idea is something my friend suggested, which is Eggman should be able to control one of his turrets if he's next to it and instead of shooting regular bullets that slow exe he can instead charge up the turret he's on and use it to stun exe from a distance like Tails, prob wouldn't last as long but it'd make him more helpful
If eggman would get shock back, I think there should be some sort of rework, like making it similar to Sally’s EMP, or keep it the same as eggman from 1.2 alpha, only tweaked like giving it startup s or not making it blockable. Keeping the stun time 2 seconds would balance him out.
Here's what to do to make eggman good.
Give him shock back, make it able to go through block and minions without going away, make the stun 2.5, and then lastly, keep the rest of his kit.
Some other things with shock could be keep the 2 sec stun and keep it block able, but just make it's CD 15 sec
maybe outlaik could bring back shock but without the stun, like sally's second ability so he wouldn't be that vulnerable
Imo, they could keep the turrets and current jetpack feature AND add shock, but instead of it being AoE, it can be a shield like Knuckles’ Block where if exe hits him, they get stunned. This’ll give Eggman more time to charge his jetpack for horizontal movement to get to teammates or something and not just be a braindead stun
Eggman’s jetpack is honestly fine being controlled differently.
His turrents are somewhat decent… but there should be a nerf to the lunge and spindash when in contact. They’re really bad for the movement.
And he needs the shock. With a nerf of the stun (2.5 seconds is better than 2), make it faster to land and he’ll be able to run away.
But I don’t get why Outlaik made him worse since his hitbox is large.
As someone who used to main Robotnick, I really liked this video. His changes in each game were interesting, to say the least.
In 1.0, he was op.
In 1.1, he was well balanced.
In the 1.2 alpha, he was pointless and bad, do to the mutiple nerfs that were givin to jetpack-boost and shock.(Yes, he was nerfed into the floor in both the 1.2 alpha and 0.75.)
In the 1.2 full release, he has a role, but he feels underpowered, especially since the two other characters that have an effect on speed are just better.
I would like to give my input on Robotnick though, if thats ok with you. I feel like bringing back shock would make him a combination of Blaze and Sally, except he would be worse than both. Instead, he should be givin a bunch of different abilities that have a niche, but useful role to help out the team. His whole thing is having tricks up his sleeves and having backup plans for his backup plans, so it makes sense for him to be like that in this game. He should still keep the sentries, but should also gain more abilities to debuff Sonic, buff him teammates, and make moving the sentries easier. The fact that a minion can stand on a sentry and force Robotnick to take damage while trying to pick the thing up makes him really bad.
I agree with you, maybe the turrets could slow him more, or maybe when an exe destroys them, they would get a debuff similiar to Sally's emp for like a second, or just make his jetpack startup spammable like Blaze's heatwave, if you know what i mean.

The shock was super clutch back in 1.0. But unfortunately, it got nerfed so freaking hard and got replaced, but I think it was for the good. I would like instead of the turrets a remote control Badnick that you can drive into the exe and self destruct. I still love the idea of the turrets tho.
Idk what to say but for some reason the 1.2 eggman jetpack charge up in ur vid was pretty slow like I didn’t remember it to be that slow. Maybe be able to place 6 turrets? Or do the great idea abt the badnicks like that guy mentioned up here I think
Heres a quick fix to jetpack, reply if u have a better idea if u want: So eggmans jetpack can work a bit like shadows dash from previous versions. When on the ground it will act like dash somewhat making you fly forward no charge up needed. But when ur mid air from jumping or falling, it changes to the jetpack we see in 1.2 (full version) the one that is used when u dont charge it up. Also it gives you i frames if you use the dash.
After watching this video, I've come up with reasons why this is just a bad idea to bring shock back.
1: Another stunner really isn't needed.
2. Support in this game already don't have a lot of variety, and making offense support just seems counterintuitive since you can't support and use stuns at the same time.
3. Adding turrets and shock would be a NIGHTMARE to deal with as Sonic, and if your team is half decent you basically win for free.
4. You are underselling the distance jetpack gives. It's a preemptive move, and shouldn't be used when Sonic is already near.
5. You state that Eggy falters if he can't get to his team in time. But if you were away from your team in the first place, something has gone horribly wrong. And if the Sonic forced you away, then they should be rewarded for forcing suboptimal play.
6. EMP serves a very similar function to shock when you compare them.
7. Shock is a nightmare to balance in of itself. It's either too good, or just mid.
8. Turrets also tend to waste more time for the exe than shock normally does.
9. Shock IS braindead. You get the effect of a Sally shield (no speed boost I know, but lets be real here) and you can stun Sonic, or block off tighter enclosed areas. Worst comes to worst for the Eggman player, Sonic is forced to wait out attacking you for 4 seconds. And if that's the worst outcome, that's bad game design.
10: Kind of an opinion sure, but shock is boring, and stunning should take at least SOME skill. Think about it. Arm cannon, hammer throw, orb, and grapple all take some skill to land in aiming. Punch, hammer attack and spin, EMP, homing attack, boost, flashbang, push, fire tornado, and heatwave all require you to risk being damaged. And remote bomb takes setup. Shock? None of them, and you may argue that you must risk getting hurt, but if you miss shock, you still stop sonic for 4 seconds bare minimum.
So that's all my problems with shock coming back. I'm sure there is more, but I don't want this comment to go forever.
shock should be added back with a few changes, like for one, it should be a simple push back type stun similarly to how sonic jumps back when he gets shocked in the sonic games, with a longer cooldown since his turrets and jetpack can do really good
One cool combo with rouge and eggman, Eggman would place his turret and rouge would place the bomb as well as the tracker.

tbh i think cream should get her normal heal back but slighly buffed just keeping the slow ticks of healing, eggman wasn't the only one screwed over by the update cream isn't necessary anymore since overheal is kinda useless since when you overheal someone (knucks or amy or whatever stunner) they have their attacks on Cd so the overheal runs out eventually and also Simply Kolossos screws over overheal lol.
As for eggman i think it would be cool moving the turrets to some sort of minion of eggman like a badnik, or just make turrents stun after x shots

I do agree with you on Cream's heal, tho. Overheal only seems to be useful for stalling time when a teammate's been grabbed.

tbh, Tails is in something like canon or even Sonic. exe Spirits of hell can both fly a lot for a long time with a very vertical thing, but tails in TD feel a lot more weighty and can't even go up something canon tails would easily go over. I know balance stuff is complicated, but come on, tail's glide barely gives any speed, and it's easy to counter (as exe, just follow him while being below him, and tails will get tired very fast, bruh). As for his stun, it really is not worth the delay, especially since you can miss and have to wait another half a minute to even use your stun (Knucks and Amy have the same issue). On another topic, Amy doesn't get inv frames when using hammer spin and can get hit due to the 'lovely' hitbox of the game. But yeah, a lot of characters were made a lot weaker than Exe by nerfing them harshly instead of buffing Exe. (Blaze has a lot of funky hitboxes, by the way.)

I'm in denial about my favorite character being ruined so I still main him, but it's super hard. Doesn't help that Exes like to immediately go after Tails. Now with the fly nerf, I can't get up onto most platforms.
Gotta love those wonky hitboxes, tho. I've hit Blaze and Amy before when they were still in the middle of attacking (Hammer Spin and Fire Tornado are wonky asf).
I get why Outlaik is on hiatus at the moment but I do hope he gets around to fixing these issues eventually.
The two new characters are not worth the nerfs to most of the other characters.
blaze's flame punch is also very wonky in hitbox sometimes it hits sometimes it doesn't (Also amy's hammer spin needs a buff to its stun time). i get why outlaik is in hiatus too but i am pretty sure sega just doesn't want others profiting from their franchise so its probably just the Donations that kinda screwed up outlaik since TD did show he was getting donated a Lot of robux. but i hope he does return faster since the game is still quite the mess on the bugs. also Silver is just slighly better tails who can actually escape since he has a speed boost unlike tails who's speed is capped in 'Fly' at the 'small cost' of silver having to aim a Non instant projectile which has splash damage (basically not much of a change to how tails played but with assistance due to splash damage if you just hit close enough)

I also remember seeing that someone donated around 40,000 robux on the leaderboard and that's just one of many, many people who have done the same. If Outlaik used the Devx feature, he could make a lot of money out of the game and of course it could get him in legal trouble with Sega.
I'm just really hoping future bug fixes will improve the game because it's still fun, just incredibly flawed in it's current state. Far from a finished game.
Also, it's funny that you mention Silver because I've actually started to play as Silver a lot, since he has a more reliable ranged attack. The splash is super helpful against Minions and the Exe when they're grouped up together and helps new players with hitting the Exe.
I'm still partial to Tails as a character, lol.

i think it would be good for eggman if he could move while using the jatpack, it would improve a lot his gameplay. Shock could be an ability for the turrets, that instead of stuning the exe it could make him really slow for 6 seconds or less, i think would make playing with him as i think a "support" better.

But eggman needs his shock,
If Outlaik REALLY wants the turrets in, give them a range nerf, keep jetpack how it is, and give eggman.. his shock back

I can suggest the new ability in the 1.3 version
Eggman can have his egg mobile to fly him around for 5 seconds
Turrets aren't that good and in 1.2 prototype shock wasn't that good so if we combine the two abilities we get a decent-ish character
Tbf, I used to be an Eggman main in 1.1 because he had the shock, but now I'm a metal sonic main because the turrets barely do any damage to the exes.

I feel like eggman should have a third ability that let's him immediately ride his eggmobile. if it touches exe, it breaks. it should be as fast as metal sonics push ability.
i also think shock should be added but also keep the turrets however I think that they should bring back the pre-1.2 shock were it was 2.5 seconds if that is still a problem then make the shock 1.5 second stun

Maybe another way to make turrets a bit more useful its making it do a small stun when the exe destroy it something like shadow's homming attack instead of a stun or like rouge's remote tramp that should make torrets more useful, example:imagine exe chasing you jetpack its on cooldown and you only avaliable ability its turret, you should place a turret before exe attacks you and jump(to cancel repairing moment) exe will attack the turret instead of you and he will get stuned or pushed, that should will make turrets way more USEFUL(in some cases) the actual eggman its not soo bad but still needs some balances to make him more useful and whit this turrets idea i think it make him less defendless and more helpful for the team🎩.

Give him his 1.2 prototype shock, to was weak, but a stun. And since he has turrets still- it’s balanced. So the weaker shock and turrets = balanced
a good idea is to let eggman spawn a moto-bug that goes to exe and stuns him, and is destroyable like the turrets, but you need to hit it 2 times

Tbh I do think eggman should get his shock back because both of his abilities freezes him witch make it easy for the exe to hit him and because eggman is not really good for solos because u cant stop mid chase or any chase to build a turrets u have to rely on jetpack mainly so eggman should get his shock back to give him time to build turrets and to charge jetpack

It should be brought back because now he’s just boring.. he doesn’t even do anything anymore! He’s like cream. With his shock ability he used to be the GOAT jumping down on the exe and using hi shock ability angering the exe, Because of that Eggman used to be my main until this stupid update came.
As an Eggman main, I have to disagree, Shock should not come back (at least not on Eggman).
Eggman is an extreme support, what I mean by this is that he does amazing in the aspect of support but lacks self-defence. Another extreme character we can link him to is Knuckles who I deem as an extreme offence, he has the perfect set of abilities to defend himself so he can take aggro off of others, but at the same time he lacks any mobility and as such he can't reliably escape.
What I'm getting at is that giving Eggman a stun is like giving Knuckles a mobility, neither of them fits the character's role and if we did give it to them it would take away their actual purpose.
But the difference in why people think Knux is the best while also thinking Eggman is bad, is through the fact that the Echidna had a lot more time to be balanced (to the point of where he is almost perfect now).
Meanwhile Eggman's changed role and turrets are new and haven't had much time to be worked on. A few balance changes later, I firmly believe that people will consider Eggman to be an amazing character.

I would say eggman should have his shock with the turrets but still the jetpack is not needed to nerf out really rouge and amy have more than two abilities exe has so many abilities by which he can kill the team eggman can have his charge back with jetpack and turrets the turrets releasing shocks would be better if its destroyed by any minion or exe

The turrets arent bad, theyre just too weak and take a whole minute to set all them up, make them have like 100 hp and repairable, inf ammo, and take 4-5 seconds to place down

1.2 is a mess when it comes to balancing
1. Turrets are fine, keep them how they are.
2. 1.2 jetpack is _waaaay_ better than any other version, keep it.
3. Give him early 1.2 2 second shock. Silver has his orb, Rouge her flashbang, why doesn’t Eggman get something to get exe off of him? Plus, shocking and then using your jetpack horizontally theoretically seems good.
