- I've had this dream to build a Fat Chopper Lowrider stretch trike for a long time. The only bike shop that could handle it was Trailside Bikes in Floral City. They did a great job with coming up with some real tricky issues by taking an old frame and meshing it with all new components. The bike weighs over 60 pounds so I had to an electric drive motor on it.

Thanks for the opportunity to work on such a fun project!
You guys are the best bike shop to work with.
bryce.this is amazing
what's the total cost of eveything ?
could you list all of your components?
also can the rear be spaced out more perhaps 5 to 9 inches on both sides?
trailsidetotal cost to go electric ?and what would the cost to get 200 miles per charge with 50mph?
looks awesome. How is the ride? does it soak up the bumps and divots in the road well or does it need shocks?
On paved or gravel is was great, but I would not take it off road as it was top heavy and could tip over, but it was a fun ride.
How does the coasta break work with the pedal assist
It's actually not a brake it's a 3 speed hub. Problem was the torque from the 1000watt motor keep breaking the hubs.
Hello. I would LOVE to see a video showing how you installed the rear set up. I have two trike conversion axels and they wont bolt to the frame. And sadly none of the sellers on ebay or amazon have a video or instructions
Great suggestion! I have sent Sold the bike. One of the weaknesses was the rear, how it connected to the frame. I can never get it strong enough, I think the better solution would be to take it to a welding shop and have cross braces welded to it, versus just bolting it to it.
The video of the finished bike is here, thank you for watching. th-cam.com/video/yn_VNoD9BHU/w-d-xo.html
You have to do a video on how too put on the trike rear axel and what kinda axel needed for a mountain bike thanks trying to buy rear axel for one on ebay .
Thank you for watching, that’s a great idea. I’ll have to see if I can make a video on that. Have an amazing day.
OK you guys to stay safe down there.
Hey I was tryin to get me a trike axle for Fattire the rear-end for what length would the entire axle need to be that's axle + 2tires on each side I'm changing my bike to 7spd trikes.... Plz help.....? Not like that, but my style of Frankenstein.....?
Type this into Amazon "Conversion Kit Use Hollow Hub", and that's where I bought it from
NICE BRO, HEY WHERE BUY THE SEAT ? , ITS PERFECT
got it on ebay
Any ideas for a trike lil like yours wit a.guy with major Lymphodemah??
Honestly I would get a recumbent trike they are far more comfortable
holes are for the basket
Thank you
Level that Seat. Try tilting your seat nose down and level it out. Also, ya might wanna raise the seat a little, to where ya have a slight bend in knee on down stroke for easier pedaling too.
Oh.. and by doing that, also tilt the handlebars straight up, if not foward toward front tire. It's actually easier to ride that way as well. Upper torso leaning foward will improve sitting down performance speed. Allow for relaxed hand grip & It gives it a very aggressive look to it too.
Nice seat back rest! If ya don't mind me asking but, where did ya get that at? Thats sweeet! 👍👀
thanks, it was a great bike but not very comfortable, my Catrike recumbent is much better.
Hey Bryce I think your brilliant! great job how much does it cost total? It's really awesome. Isnt it the best ergonomically correct way to ride..
Thanks, I had about $3500 in it and sold it for $2800, i learned a lot but not a good way to make money LOL
dont change chainring , ideal to pull weight
Thank you and thanks for watching
Could have bought yourself a welder and learned a thing or 2
I learned a lot and your right I do want to take a welding class, that bike got so much attention.
