I highly recommend layering Hacivat first followed by Layton. 2 sprays of each anywhere , I'm telling you they compliment each other so unbelievably well
Some of the fragrances you fell out of do lean a bit more on the masculine side like Hacivat so I understand why you would fall out love with a few of the ones mentioned. This is also normal when having a large fragrance collection. Some fragrances you will begin to enjoy less after some wear time and some you come back to after a while and fall back in love with the fragrance again during a different season or time. Layton wont stop being a top tier PDM fragrance, enjoy the new bottle!
You have to your very own mindset with fragrances, sample and test for yourself! She’s speaking for herself of fragrances she has fallen out of love with, they can still be fragrances you love so get them! You can’t base your collection of someone else’s opinions…. I’m a fragrance collector myself who has over 200 I ran out and bought fragrances base on reviewers an found some where hits and a lot were misses for me in my skin chemistry.! Sample and rock them accordingly to your preference, then you will find what works best for you and that’s how you build a collection YOU WILL LOVE!! I own majority of the fragrances she named, but they loves for me, cause it’s what I think! She’s not saying there bad, it’s just ones she don’t rock much as she once did, because others have dethroned them! Love your videos Melissa ❤️
I love finding and collecting new fragrances but in my fragrance journey similar to yourself the great fragrances you already own start to fall to the way side which is bitter sweet
I just ordered my first full sized bottle of initio and saves like 130$ on it! Just really excited and wanted to tell someone! 😊 Love your videos and reviews
If we’re being honest I have a pretty huge collection, I have my moods where I rotate a few of them and get hooked on a couple and wear them nonstop, then they collect dust for a while and them I come back to them sometime. One that hasn’t collected dust for me that’s always used in my rotation is mfk grand soir & br540 extrait, I have no idea why they’re just so pleasant to me and my nose.
Melissa: at this point of your fragrance journey maybe switching to decants would be a better option? I did that a couple of months ago - I can now discover and enjoy many fragrances without having to purchase full bottles.
Also I’ve heard many PDM’ fragrances have gotten reformulated to the point where it’s not worth buying anymore kinda of sad cause that was one of my favorite houses
I personally love the dry down of Hacivat, however I don't care for the top notes as I feel it's a not as great of a scent as Aventus. I smell strong lime when I smell Hacivat where Aventus is more of a smoky lemon to me.
You demoted a lot of Heavy Hitters😮 Sad to see Cedrat Boise ain't doing for ya no more. Did 4-5 sprays today. This thing blows my Lafayette Street outta the water. Nice vid👌Hope you drop a part II
I tried Cedrat Boise and on paper it smells nice but a bit too basic for me. On my skin it smells really bad for my liking, truly not for me. It gives me shower gel vibes, and for a niche a want a bit more than that. With all that said, it performs like a nuclear bomb without being too much (it doesn't keep people away/ not headache inducing). 2 sprays on my arm and somehow the smell impregnated to my T-shirt too and I could feel it after 2 days too. As I said, I don't like it at all, so definitely try it before you buy it. I can't wait to try more Mancera's fragrances it is such a powerhouse.
@@RobinInDaHood7 I tried it in a local niche fragrance shop, so I assume it is the latest batch. I think you got nose blind to it, since I couldn't feel it either, but people around me told me I smell good. Let a family member use it and test it this way.
Definitely make a part 2, because I was actually going to buy those scents, and now it's a big question for me if I actually should buy 'em )) you basically showed us like most of the scents that you recommend for summer and now they're collecting dust 😳 Nice one 🤣 After we throw a huge chunk of money 💰 on 'em, it's not actually worth it as I see. If you make a part 2, please include Tom Ford's Oud Wood and I'll be definitely saving a lot of money 😁 I'd say that you don't actually use almost all of your scents apart from Elysium, Afternoon swim, that salt and pepper thing and maybe molecule 01. Am I right?)))
Like I said I still like these fragrances but I don’t use them as much because other scents have outshined them in my opinion. I will still recommend them because I know they’re great and people love them. What I love, you might not. So I suggest you try them for yourself to make your decision
Layton is 💯%🔥🔥 but you if you haven't you should really get ur nose on Layton Exclusif...it's darker/richer with a coffee note to die for💪🏿💪🏿 Keep em coming.. "THUMBS UP"🥊🔔
Exclusif does smell good and is a more powerful and darker version of Layton but only specific women who like powerful scents will rock it and Melissa seems to steer away from more oud driven fragrances and lean more towards more of the Crowd Pleasing unisex fragrances
If anything she might enjoy Pegasus Exclusif more, thats the one that garners me more compliments from women compared to Layton Exclusif whenever I’ve worn either on different occasions.
Creed has lots of hits/misses. For me, it's just Aventus (just for myself) and Spice & Woods (Royal Exclusives) - which is nothing like Mancera or whoever puts out a Spice and Woods as well. The only house to me that has more than a couple bangers is Tom Ford Private Blend - Tuscan Leather, Tobacco Vanille, Noir de Noir, Italian Cypress but also a ton of recent misses. Also, could be my skin, but Nishane's Hacivat - the oakmoss accord is a bit too "earthy" until the drydown for me.
I don’t understand the layton hype, smells like too much vaporrub menthol to me. Dont like the patchouli in Hacivat, smells like potted soil aka ‘dirty patchouli’
Anyone can wear what they want but some fragrances just smell more appropriate on men and some smell more appropriate on women and there's some that just work on either. Some of the fragrances she did mention though I do personally feel lean a bit more masculine like Gentle Fluidity Silver and Hacivat so I can see why she fell out of love with a couple from the handful of fragrances she mentioned.
I get it a lil bit but overall the scent is just highly overrated to me along with 95% of pdm stuff. Not too impressed. Carlisle smells good but it wasn’t like “wow”
I highly recommend layering Hacivat first followed by Layton. 2 sprays of each anywhere , I'm telling you they compliment each other so unbelievably well
I'm literally buying a bottle of Layton the week u fell out of love w it. I can't believe it's come to this
It still bangs. Again, this video is about the stuff I don’t wear as often, I never said these weren’t worth it :)
Layton is still worth it imo ✌️

Hacivat and Layton are both awesome fragrances. The vanilla in Layton is addictive.
Cedrat Boise was like throwing cedar wood shavings on me. LOL
To me it smells like new dollar bills 💵
& I like smelling like money

How do you wear carlisle if it's too warm for Egypt?

My sentiments exactly regarding Layton. Carlisle and Naxos have been getting all the burn on the occasions that I would wear Layton.

They need background stuff lol
I totally agree with you about the legitimacy, luv seeing you videos. You have enlightened me in the way of fragrances!

Hacivat and gfs I literally was just considering buying lol
love your videos! subbed! You honestly shelved all my faves haha!
Omg I love your videos!! Have you ever tried Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud??
Thank you! I haven’t yet!

Have you tried Citrus Riviera by BDK Parfums? I haven’t smelled afternoon swim, but this is another one that is heavy citrus/orange.
Interesting topic. For me it’s confetto by profumum roma. Used to wear it all the time at work until someone said I smell like a nyc subway train 😂
Great selection of fragrances. Nishane Hacivat is #1 for me. 😊
Have you smelled Fan Your Flames ?
@@grooviestneedle boozy, coconut. Yes, love that fragrance.
Part #2 please thanks
Posted that today :)
@@melissanacional9662 great 😃
PLEASE REVIEW LAYTON EXCLUSIFF!!!
If u had to choose between Tuxedo YSL and Carlisle PDM... Which way u choosing
I don’t understand the layton hype, smells like too much vaporrub menthol to me.
Dont like the patchouli in Hacivat, smells like potted soil aka ‘dirty patchouli’
I got that too when I got my decant but after a week or so it just went away. It smells good to me now. I even got a full bottle!
I'm not a fan of Layton or Hacivat either. I agree with Hacivat critics about the oakmoss and I wasn't impressed by Layton.
Bro there is problem with your nose👃
Layton and Cedrat Boise Giveaway coming soon? Haha
Layton is not unisex in my opinion so it just makes sense that u not grab it no?

Mine's herod, royal oud, side effect, nio and red tobacco
The biggest compliment getter on earth. Congrats
I'm guessing cedra....WHAT? She fell out of love with Layton?? 😆
I still like it but other things outshine it 😩
Sell me the Layton !!!
Layton smells like Vick's Vapor Rub to me. I guess everyone's👃🏼is different.
+1 !!!!!!!
