I give Mexico a lot of respect for being the only country in the world that never had any covid entry restrictions.

It was the Americans that stopped the ability to walk through the San Ysidro border into Tijuana without stopping or talking to anyone. Used to do it all the time. I don't think most Americans realize what a fundamental right they lost the day that practice stopped. Its ending was part of the post 9-11 nonsense.
In Puerto Vallarta right now. Masks were "mandated" here up until recently. I didn't wear a mask and was thrown out of some places. Still need to wear it at the PVR airport although I haven't and no one said boo. It was the sheeple passengers that gave dirty looks.
I'm Filipino and moved to Canada.. With what is happening now in Canada, I have considered moving back to the Philippines and starting my own business.
The Healthcare system in Canada is broken.
House and property prices are insanely high.
Wages are extremely disproportional to the cost of living.
Canada is not a country of the free anymore with all the regulations put in place by the Trudeau government.

Andrew, let's have a serious video about which countries we're ultra controlling during Covid and which were rational and measured.....That gives us an "eyes wide open" view of govts view of personal freedom. I'm currently a permanent resident of Mexico. I would like to find a plan B and C should that be necessary. I refuse to vaccinate (covid) without FULL disclosure. I would like to find places that respect this position. I'm retired and self sufficient.

agree, I know Australia has the whole digital identity mapped out, and we will need it to file taxes, start a business, receive pensions, receive medicare, go to school or college and many other government and council services. It will be impossible to live in your own home (to pay council rates) unless we have the identity. I'm assuming this will also cause problems if we want to sell our properties too. This is right around the corner. I was just in Sydney this weekend and couldn't believe how many new cameras were around, I would say 1 every 500m everywhere I drove. It was a relief to leave and know I was no longer 'watched' until I turned off the freeway and low and behold another new camera right there. My daughter finishes school next year and I want to be out of here!

Remember this channel is for entrepreneurs and investors, not dirt-poor people who are illiterate in their native languages. It doesn't take much to find the limits in the US. All you have to do is start a business and the harassment begins. I have had to adhere to absolutely ridiculous regulations for simple things that I still do not understand to this day. At the same time in the same place I had a break-in and the cops showed up the next day after I called. When I called they asked me not to shoot anyone if they looked underage. That is basically the story of the US

Great talk. I'm from the U.S. and I love my country but it is in real trouble. The manor and ease withwitch it's citizenry has been lead to divide itself (outright media propaganda and social media algorithms) can only signal the beginning stages of a rapid fall. We can not stand...like this. There are many very wealthy people in the U.S. but the country itself is very poor. It owns very little. It is in massive debt, continues to manufacture money that creates inflation. Without income generating assets it's only option in "appearing rich" is to tax it's citizens to death. The political system has been exposed as a sham. After being liberated, dumb dumb citizens are niavely willing to oppress their fellow citizens thinking that their freedoms are somehow safe. We seem to learn nothing.

When it comes to national debt and money printing, as bad as it is the US is doing no worse and is often better off than just about any other developed country. I think the division and the support for the extremist policies among young people is largely the result of decades of Russian and nor Chinese propaganda work, after the Cold War we forgot about the people waging propaganda wars against us, we thought we were above that. We allowed these country's organizations to open shop on our university campuses and indoctrinate young people.
I will never forget reading "How I Found Freedom" the first time. Harry Browne was definitely onto something.

As a Swiss I escaped 2y ago to South Africa. I bought a nice farm which I have never seen in person, just over the internet. Best decision ever! Since here at the beginning of Africa no woke and vaxxed sheeps are arriving, this country is my top destination of freedom... top for entrepreneurs...... average wokies are simply afraid of the violence down here..... PERFECT!

Moved from Mexico to croatia. It's a beautiful country here and very safe. Never been in a country where you can leave the door open and not worried about someone tryna steal your stuff. Served in the marine corps and have to say I am disappointed in the way the usa is today. I'll keep traveling myself.

the United States is 'useful' but the quality of Life is degrading (social degradation)
I realized how free the United States was when I was in Germany and saw Germans walking around drinking beer without a single police officer bothering them. Try doing that in NYC. :-)
I think it also ties into the drunk driving problem we have in the states. I think cities think that if you are able to walk around with the beer you are then going to take it to your car. The real problem is drinking and planning to drive afterwards but somehow walking around with the beer got pulled into the law also. I think probably some of those laws are left overs from the prohibition era possibly. :)

The homeless druggies are making American cities so ugly and the government refuses to crack down on them
Good documentaries on YT on who the homeless and drug addicts or ‘druggies’ really are and myriad of ways they end up there. They’re from ALL walks of life incl young families, military vets, kids escaping abusive homes/shelters etc. More addicts get that way from pain meds. Some are frontline responders jobless with PTSD from last two years. Less and less money to social pgms to help and since 2008 more big corps allowed to buy up properties and become corp landlords with many neg reports. A friend of friend from university worked to a high level in banking for yrs but for diff reasons sadly ended up in a men’s homeless shelter thankfully visited by friends who didn’t judge. My aunt died an alcoholic with many friends. Most shelters aren’t safe and partly why so many end up on the street.
This was the unexpected pep talk I needed today, thank you. :-)

You are so right. Would rather vote with my feet, country has changed to the degree that the ballot box is no longer a viable option. However I don't have a 6 or 7 digit income so moving abroad is not quite so easy.
There's places you can live really cheap
The TH-cam space has really helped many. I have racked up in profits $558,405 from $185k capital in august last year to be exact on my portfolio, after i watched a news interview on where Mary Freed Lorenz featured during an IPO and spoke proficiently, caught only her name and did a search later online.

Craig my wife and I bought 8 acres in Costa Rica. We are building a small house and a little farm/orchard. Property tax is .25%. They also have amazing healthcare.
We moved from the UK to Canada because at the time Canada was TRUE NORTH AND FREE and the UK was going down quickly.
But unfortunately Canada is now on a very slippery slop to Socialism.
Slippery slope? It's been socialist since forever. Now it's a dictatorship. I left 10 years ago when the city I lived in banned door knobs. The government is in your face every day - always has been that way.

The city opened a 'no rules' homeless shelter across the street from us and introduced legislation banning door knobs (must use levers now). That was 10 years ago and it was great here in Arizona until 18 months ago. Looking at Mexico now.
I am from Canada and yes Canada changed soo much, now I live in Boquete Panama very happy no regret not perfect country but very good I feel I'm living 40 years back very lay back country no stress here and very safe!

Well said Andrew. I moved to Turkey 9 months ago and I’m doing just fine. Next year maybe Greece or Italy? If your healthy get out and see the world. You can always go back. That’s not on my list yet. Most places have more freedom are less expensive and you pick the climate you like.
Man I spent about 5-6 hours at the Istanbul airport (long layover), it was a pleasant surprise. Fondue fountains at the coffee shop, beautiful soft leather jackets for 230 euro. I'm not materialistic or a shopper, but dang they had some cool reasonably priced things. Would like to go back thru there with an empty suitcase.
@@lisas44 Istanbul airport is the most expensive place in all of Turkey. Big shopping malls, outlets are much cheaper. Avoid small shops in tourist areas. They overcharge tourists all the time.

@@algae_rhythms I was only at the airport. The airport was the nicest I think I've been in. Well organized, on time. Turkish airlines was fabulous. Also the airport had plentiful a/c, something the rest of Europe seems to be missing. And the products in the airport and the displays were beautiful. I was truly impressed. As to the rest of the country, no idea. My only guess as to their wealth is their location. It is kind of a gateway between west and east and Africa.

Another truly simplistic take by Andrew. I'll go months without visiting this channel and every so often I will and it doesn't disappoint. I have plenty of criticisms of the US as well as plenty of good things to say but I have literally never heard someone say "if you don't like it leave". I have also spent much of my life overseas. Unlike Andrew, I have also bothered to learn the languages thoroughly out of basic respect for those places. This channel is more and more about selling a brand and less and less about deep, thoughtful analysis; if it ever was. If fast-food information about international living is your thing you've come to the right place.
I agree in fact I’ll stop watching after this show because of his take on Roe v. Wade it isn’t taking a right spirit in the left if anything it’s giving you more rights by saying look in court and nine people in black robes don’t bestow rights upon 340,000,000+ people it’s not us up to us to decide something that’s a cultural issue do you want to legislate it do so in the legislative branch in your local states or something you were already have it away by the government not bestowed upon a supreme court to decide who has what rights that’s ridiculous but anyway probably a little bit more deep thinking than most people on this channel including the author have thought of…

However the manner in which you describe what you want, what works best for you, how you wish to be treated, the freedoms important to you, and not wanting to be punished by society or a government because of your ambition or success was most illuminating. I get it and see it, now that you so succinctly stated it. Many thanks.
Why would someone recommend Malaysia, where they have laws on the book discriminating against some citizens because they are not the "favored" ethnic group? Your spending and taxation support that.
You’re absolutely right. Just because you drop a vote at in a ballot box, doesn’t mean that politics are going to do what’s right.
Andrew, again you hit a homerun. Thank you. Maybe you can do a video on the difficulties, roadblocks and bureaucratic nightmares that older people run into when trying to emigrate to other countries. Then also describe the countries that make it easy. We are trying to move to the EU and the hoop jumping is very disheartening. At our age, time is NOT on our side.

I love your delivery!!! You are absolutely correct. I’m not a 6 figure income. I’m late bloomer at 55 next month and no savings for retirement. I’m so blessed that I found you about 3 to 4 years ago. I have wanted to leave the USA for decades but need or wanted to wait to raised my 4 kids as a single parent. Now im ready to save and I can save about $1,000 or so month, so im going to save for the next 4 to 5 years and move. I like the fact that you also cater to the regular people like me. My two youngest kids are also moving out of the USA once the finish their Bachelor degree. Once we put money together later this year we would love to have a consultation with your team to see where we with our income can move into. Love to move to Europe and have 3 passports one with access to the EU and may the other one in Albania including my current USA passport but I would like to live in a country where it’s cheaper than the USA. Where I can live with about $1,500 or $2,000 monthly so I can save I should be making about $3,000 or so in the next 2 years or so as a multi language interpreter, Spanish, Korean and French so it’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m so appreciative of you time and knowledge and I’m honor to have found you because you have made my research so much easier. Know that you are appreciated by me and my family. My stepson just came back from a trip to Mexico and he says Mexico is still enforcing mask mandates in restaurants, public transports etc still very “covid cautious” were his exact words. 😞
They probably have very low vaccination rates, and probably a lot of people are dying that don't have access to medical Care. And I don't know how many courses of remdesivir they're going to buy at $3,500?

@@torontovoice1 Their vaccination rate is over 80 percent and in cities it is over 95 percent. Look up the realities of that drug before you start touting it as any solution. The medical care is better and cheaper than the US. So many wrong assumptions. Try looking up facts.
@@sabrinahenry5369 Sabrina I had no idea that their vaccination rates were at that level. The assumption was that it was a poor country and they had poor vaccination rates. Thank you for clarifying that information. I did visit a hospital once in Mexico and I was not impressed, so I took the giant leap to express what would appear to be an erroneous assumption. It's not very hard to beat American healthcare from a cost point of view. The USA has the highest healthcare costs in the world, and one of the worst outcomes. Because they practice sick here instead of healthcare. In other words they treat people when they're sick instead of treating people when they are well and encouraging them to maintain healthy lifestyle choices.

After living outside the US for 7 years, it looks very different from a distance. The idea that the US is the greatest and most free sounds so ridiculous, especially coming from ppl who who have never been anywhere else.
Wonderful insight! My wife came from China and she sees the same problems in the US as she saw back there.
I live in Algeria now and it has its paradise , and government is not intrusive, low taxes and cheap living. Gas , oil is dirt cheap, low crime, mainly small petty. Its still developing.. Plenty of police and army presence.

The USA has the worst marriage, divorce and family law against men to the point of being criminal. That is my biggest beef. I really feel sorry, to some degree, for those men who have been divorced raped by the courts. But even if these laws were fair, I still wouldn’t get married, especially here in the US.

I was divorced in the USA 🇺🇸. I’ll never marry in the USA again. Maybe Saudi Arabia or the Philippines if I ever decide to marry again, as those are the best marriage/divorce laws for men.

@@settyphon9340 Running out of food now, massive protests, indigenous causing uprising, hit hard by fuel costs, insane lockdowns where you were allowed outside for 1 hr a day and shopping was one per household in alphabetical order. USA feels they can fuck with it. Guerrilas in the east. Panama is a great long term play cause of the confidence, banking, territorial tax system, central airport & canal. But I wouldnt live there. Felt ppl were unfriendly and the city is not a big money saver. Rural Panama in expat communities is probably best. But my friend from Paraguay (!) Said how bad the poverty gets when you see those areas. Some were unfriendly too to me and can be hot (minor details). I think Panama is good for your assets and not your ASS. Theyre also guilty until proven innocent and reading the declaration form you sign before travelling there you are legally signing away your soul where they can do anything (medically) to you and quarantine you for nothing (currently still in place). Also had VaxPasses are/were in place.
Unfortunately, I changed my mind on there as i was looking to move there too.

Great perspective
I can certainly resonate with this video. Over the past 10 years I would consider my self as even Less and less of a patriot. The US has some of the highest taxes and worst economic policies in the world while constantly attacking the freedoms of its residents. Honestly if it wasn't for the gun ownership freedoms there is in the US I probably would renounce because there would be nothing left of value for me. But that will probably change in the next 5 years or so so we'll see.
Not to mention the pursuit of 'equity' over 'quality' in recent years.
@Roger Vieira I think a lot of people over estimate the benefits of renouncing citizenship but but if the US gets any worse than it is now there really is no point in maintaining citizenship. Especially with it representing my values less and less
@@gary9933 exactly, the US is so concerned with producing equity for everyone that the standard of living is not what it used to be.
There's nowhere to go that isn't going to be ultimately worse, we have to fix the US. North America is so incredibly blessed geographically you really don't want to chance it much of anywhere else, nowhere else on Earth has our quantity and variety of resources or arable land. No other large landmass is as well positioned for both international defense and trade.
Keep in mind that many folks in the know see the globalist system falling apart, or at least going through a painful reorganization, in the near future. Moving to a place that can't feed itself or is geographically vulnerable to invasion may not work out so well.
@@jmuench420 this is just a non-sense comment as a whole. there are plenty of safe, high standard of living countries aside from the US that in many cases are cheaper to live in while also having tax advantages. also lets say the US is "fixed" but what if it still doesn't meet your values? a far smarter option is coming to the realization that all countries come with pros and cons and the best way to deal with it is having multiple options. im already working on my irish citizenship via dissent and plan on starting my polish one soon as well. this will give me access to all of the EU so if i dont like a certain country i can go somewhere else. i can go....where I'm treated best.....
Great Commentary. The fact that I had to pause--and think---before agreeing with your message, validates your concerns. I have been to 61 countries mostly work related---and I will choose a best fit for me---where I do not have to feel uneasy most of the time. Good reference to the "police state" as a downgrade.

Sorry, who in Canada is talking about citizenship-based taxation? From what I could find, Chandra Arya, a member of parliament, wrote a column about it in April of 2020 (cabin fever?), but he's just one of 338, and there is no mention of the subject anywhere on the web other than his column.

A fascinating discussion of "soft geopolitics" as relates to the nomad capitalist way of thinking about your life and maybe doing something about it. Seems like the shelf life of making a move suits people in their thirties, forties, fifties, and sixties as they are likely the ones with sufficient money and time to have thought through the geopolitical smorgasbord with enough depth of understanding to consider making a change. In the end, it seems like your tolerance for risk needs to be very high as countless-moving parts are at play.

I am lucky to have left the Western world. I feel sorry for those of my generation and younger left behind. They will inherit the scorched earth, lack of freedom and abysmal debt left behind by the previous generations who sacrificed their children’s future for their pensions and 1st world comforts.

@@airgin3000 No freedom in Asia. It's not in the DNA. You get some lifestyle benefits and maybe tax benefits in a few. But you're just a number there & you'll NEVER be one of them. They're cooked with a collectivistic mindset, which I assume since you're here, is what you're trying to get away from. Invest there but I'm immensely skeptical on living there. Just a different world. Colombia a lot of people like but too criminally-charged I think. You have to be suuper street smart there. Mexico is the obvious choice there and Eastern Europe IMO. Just pick your state in Mexico carefully.
@@airgin3000 I settled in Turkey. It’s nothing like the Western media portrays it to be. It’s modern, it’s got great infrastructure, it’s dirt cheap, the food and products are great, it’s very safe and the people are very welcoming. In the large cities, people are mostly westernised and you can enjoy most things you do back home with the exception of porc. Turks love to drink and party but they just dont eat porc. The language barrier can be a problem but in the larger cities you can get by with english as most of middle class and young people speak it. You’ll need to make the extra effort to learn the basics but it all comes with time. Many expats in capital city so you wont feel alone. The economy is currently not great and it’s not a tax haven but if you work remotely or earn foreign income your purchasing power is very strong. I rent a 2 bedroom appart with communal pool by the sea for $650 in the modern coastal city of Izmir. You’re upper class if you earn anything north of $2000/month. Life is good here and i wouldn’t swap it for any other place.
I can’t say for Latin America or Asia. For Eastern Europe i would say Romania is the best option but not sure how Europe will fair in the long term without constant Russian gas and oil supplies. Turkey has it’s own gas pipeline and trade agreements so its not affected by the current conflict. Good luck on your enterpriser.

My issue is that it's not the same country I remember growing up in. America used to be number 1 in just about everything. I can remember when it used to loan money to the world. It used to have a mostly homogeneous, cohesive Western population. This decline has been going on for 50 years. It's become to the point it is alien to me. It's only going to get worse and I'm looking to retire overseas. Given the fact I won't be working, the retirement visa option is probably the best way to move overseas.
It might be interesting to do a video on countries with gun rights. Switzerland, for example, has an excellent point-of-view on firearms ownership.
Switzerland is more American than America in many ways at this stage.
